[00:00:00]On October 2nd, 2024, Mountain Home, Arkansas police responded to a Walmart after asset protection >> [music] >> reported a woman leaving the store with two carts overflowing with merchandise.

[00:00:12]But as officers questioned [music] the woman, her behavior quickly made the situation even more suspicious.

[00:11:07]Back at Walmart, Officer Morrell accounted for the items that had been legitimately [music] purchased using the receipt provided by Emily. Asset protection then scanned the remaining merchandise revealing a total of $1,789.29 in unpaid items.

[00:11:24]The purchased items were then bagged, transported to the Baxter County Detention Center, and locked [music] as her personal property.

[00:11:32]Emily Uselton was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and felony theft of property. [music] Her bond was set at $2,500.

[00:11:43]And on February [music] 10th, 2025, Emily Uselton appeared in Baxter County Circuit Court where she pled guilty to the charges against her.

[00:11:51]She was sentenced to 12 months probation and ordered [music] to pay nearly $1,800 in restitution.
