Our first observation relates to the destiny project.
We've been following the destiny project. We have not been saying much but we are keeping close to that tragedy or travesty that we must not allow to happen over across the narrows there in leaders.
But the destiny project according to Premier Mark Brantley is creating some difficulty for the NIA because of delayed approval from the federal government.
With such delay in my straight dog family or with such a delay I should say damage is being done and many are asking if with such a delay or will such a delay damage the relationship between St. and neas or between the federal government to be more specific and the NIA as a question being asked and it's a pertinent question I may add.

Um, Mullet, I'll get to the accomplishments in a while. Let me just say that as everybody's aware, we have sought and I have sought as premier to develop a working relationship with the federal government and particularly with Prime Minister Drew and I project. I do not believe that we could have achieved what we've achieved thus far and be within striking distance without the partnership of Prime Minister Drew and his government. I have said that there have been occasions that Prime Minister Drew has made funds available and our airport project certainly on the acquisition of the lands we have been able to leverage some of that assistance to acquire those lands. We still have an outstanding matter of a loan from Taiwan at very attractive terms for which we need a federal guarantee but we're working through on that. So in the main I think that the relationship has been a good relationship. Having said that I think that this particular issue is creating some difficulty for us because of what I consider a lack of response.
You know when I see that the length of time that it has taken for a committee to be put in place and then for the committee to come with some observations which in my opinion have absolutely nothing to do with Sin Kits or with the federal construct. The constitution is clear as to what NEAS has authority over and what Sinkits has authority over. In my opinion, what the committee or the attorney general or whoever in sing should concern themselves with is whether or not this project is constitutional.
Does it breach any provision of the constitution? And we have in NES been a painstakingly we've made every effort to say to the developers of destiny whatever you do has to be within the constitutional parameters of sinitis and neas the nean administration will not counting as anything that is outside the constitution we will not counting as anything that gives any semblance to the notion that you have some independent enclave.
It has to be subject to our law and our constitution and that has been made clear. So to my mind we at a stage and where all that I think the federal government has to do is to look at its responsibilities its responsibilities constitutional propriety and the areas that fall to federal responsibility national security international representation although that really doesn't arise all this other thing about NEAS or NEAS is not going to be as quiet as it used to be and all of those those observations are as chaff that the wind bloweth away. I don't see any committee should come back with those kinds of observations because again they have simply no jurisdiction to speak to those matters. Those are matters for the Nevis Island administration. And so you ask a very important question. I think it is for history to determine that whether this will damage the relationship. I'm hopeful that it won't because I'm still hopeful that the federal government will come back with a response within the time frame so that we can move forward with this project. This project is the biggest single investment that we would have seen in the history of the country.
Master family, you no doubt would have recognized that the question from Lisha Hulet was based on a premise or the premise or the premise that the federal government is dragging out its approval.
Interesting.
But the issue of jurisdiction was raised by Brantley.
Sometimes you wonder if he's a tantry lawyer.
But a friend of mine drew my attention to the SS legislation and the constitution which rubbishes the premier's opinion.
and he pointed me to the legislation which I share with you on your screens.
And you will note from the very last section or clause within the legislation, the SSC legislation, it applies to NEAS. Clause 10, application to NEAS. It says, and I quote, "Pursuant to section 37 subsection 3 of the constitution, the Navis Island administration has consented to this act in so far as it applies to its authority on the island of Navas."
consented can only mean agreed.
But section 37 subsection three of the St. Kits and Ne constitution doubles down on the garbage that was uttered by Mark Grantley and see section 37 subsection 3 on your screens as well.
And it reads to part two legislation and procedure of parliament.
And remember the clause spoke to subsection uh 37 subsection 3.
So let's fast track to subsection three on your monitors there.
my SW dog family highlighted with the yellow and it reads my SWAG family and I quote, "If it is expressly declared in any law enacted by Parliament that the NAS island administration has requested and consented to the enactment in respect of the island of NEAS of any of the provisions of that law relating to any of the specified matters, those provisions shall underline shall accordingly have effect in the island of NeAs as if they had been enacted by the Nevice Island legislature and may be amended or revoked accordingly.
So you ask yourselves, what the hell is Mark Brantley saying?
because the content of the letter written by the federal government according to Brantley on April 30th, he referred to that that letter as absolute unadulterated rubbish.
his language absolute unadulterated rubbish and should not be in a letter sent to the NIA by further communication.
The NIA according to Brantley has demanded a further response within 7 days.
He's given his deadline. A further response he said within 7 days. the destiny project. Let me just report that the federal government would have written to us on the 30th of April, Miss Budgeon, and would have indicated that the committee set up in Sinitz had various concerns.
In our opinion, the majority of those concerns had nothing to do with Sin Kits or the committee because those concerns fell squarely within the constitutional authority of the Neas Island administration.
And some of those concerns we thought were how should I put it unfortunate and I use that word because one of the concerns for example they said that this community will be and I'm paraphrasing a community of wealthy individuals and that will create a sort of neas where you have some halves and have nots and I thought well that's an interesting observation to make because I don't know if you all know but there's a place in sink it's called Frigat Bay.
There's a place in Sink is called Kitanian Hill. There's a place in Sink is called Kristoff Harbor.
I wonder how many Kiticians live in Christoff Harbor.
How many divisions live at Four Seasons, Miss Budgeon? Do you know how many divisions live at Four Seasons?
Well, how come this have and have not story just coming up now as an objection to destiny? These are the kinds of things that I say are absolute unadulterated rubbish.
And we had to respond and say, "Listen, this kind of thing here shouldn't enter no letter sent to us because one, it has nothing to do with sin kits.
And two, these are arguments which are clearly contrived because you look all around the country, you have neighborhoods that people would look at as saying, well, these are affluent neighborhoods." That's the reality.
Frigate Bay perhaps is the best example in Sinitis.
So using that as a saying you have a concern about that really to my mind is not saying much at all. So we've responded and our response went out on the 8th of May to the cabinet in Sinkitz. I can tell you that today we intend to dispatch a further letter because we've heard nothing further asking whether or not we can have a response within the next 7 days. The reason I say that is because we would have sent this document with our position to the federal government on the 23rd of December. Prime Minister has said that he doesn't recognize that he got it until sometime in January. But that aside for the moment, if we count from the 23rd of December, January, February, March, April, May, it's been 5 months since this project has been over there in syncs. We got that project proposal in August if I recall in Nevice and August, September, October, November, December. Within 4 months we had had a number of town hall meetings, number of public consultations and advanced the position. It's been 5 months now that that project is sitting down in sinkits and we still don't have an answer. So we are now going to say to sink kits please can we have an answer within the next week so that we can know what we're doing because this has commercial implications and certainly this impacts the economy of the island of NAS and the wider federation.

Brantley referred to the committee's concerns cited by the federal government as chaff that the wind bloweth away meaning it is weak or without substance and according to him it should not be in any letter. Imagine that.
Mark Brantley no doubt reads his Bible as Psalms 1 verse4 reads and I quote the wicked are not so but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away but nobody could outsmart Mark Brantley according to his boss remember his idol boss my dog family when I graduated law school at the Norman Manley Law School in 1994, Mark Brantley from Henley Park and Brownill was number one in the Caribbean at Norman Manley Law School and I went to Jamaica in 1994 and I graduated number one in class. I got a certificate of merit. It was only the fourth time in the history of the Norman Mandy Law School that a certificate of merit had been awarded.
You know why I'm saying that? I am saying that because nobody could outsmart me.
Nobody could outsmart Mark Bantley according to his post.
But did the SS committee stray beyond the matters relevant to the authority of the federal government cuz he even said this my dog family.

Now if it is that the committee established by the prime minister did not cannot or would not deal with the destiny development application if you want to call it that according to the constitution of St. Kiss, do you believe that the prime minister should disband this committee and have cabinet make its decision in a very quick and timely manner going forward.

Um, on the destiny matter, I don't want it to be said that the committee did not, you said the committee did not deal with the application. And I'm saying what I wanted and I hope I I I was clear is that some of the observations of the committee had nothing to do with synits.
No committee set up on sinkits can seek to dictate how neas develops neas. That's a constitutional responsibility of the NIA.
The committee in my opinion therefore should have limited itself to the matters that properly pertain to the federal government and they they strayed beyond those matters.
Now you say I do not get the sense that the committee is dealing with the application. What I mean by that is it is not for the committee to make a decision. The committee is really set up to advise the prime minister and the cabinet. So ultimately it is still for the prime minister and the cabinet to make a decision because as you know Mr. B I can get your advice. I don't need to take it. I can get your advice but I can modify it but at the end of the day it is not for the committee to make a decision because the law doesn't give them any sort of authority. It is for the committee to advise the prime minister and the cabinet. And so ultimately it is for the prime minister and the cabinet to take a decision. And as I said, we would have responded to the concerns that they said the committee raised on the 8th of May.
Today's the 26th of May. So clearly that's what 2 weeks would have gone by.
2 and a half weeks since we would have responded to those concerns. So as I said, we're right today to ask the honorable prime minister and the cabinet to give us a decision. We're suggesting 7 days. We think after 5 months the federal government should know, the federal cabinet should know what they want to say in relation to this.
But did the committee stray is a question I asked one more time. Or did Mark Brantley outsmart himself when he made Destiny a federal project by the act of consent?
It's there on your screens. My straight dog family subject to the provisions of what am I reading? No. Further or pursuant to the section 373 of the constitution, the NIS island administration has consented to this act in so far at as it applies to its authority on the island of NES.
My shock family, we seem to be on a collision course.
Terren Michael Drew is afraid and rightly so to get his cabinet to approve this project.
But we will know in seven days Mark Brantley has issued a deadline.
Remember the last deadline he issued was sometime in was it April in 2022? April May no what I'm saying is April May or June 2022 or July resolve or dissolve.
Well, let's know what's happening in seven days. Terren Michael joke.
My second observation at straight dog family um relates to some defense force soldiers that were called in as hell almost broke loose at the Robert Dwelling Bradshaw International Airport a few days ago.
When You can see the soldier there's with his gun on the apron parking.
When a group of Nigerians arrive in St. kits and navies, but were denied entry in light of Ebola concerns.
And somehow these 17 or 18 passengers were all on the apron parking.
As I said, hell almost broke out. There was an Ebola scale.
But we ask the question my dog family tonight.
If travelers arrived at the Robert Dwelling Brad International Airport without prior warning that they could be denied entry, then critics would naturally ask whether the airlines were formally notified.
when the directive was issued, whether immigration and health authorities coordinated properly, and whether passengers were treated fairly and consistently.
The government of Senitis and Navy subsequently issued this release by Strait family via Zis television. The government has responded to questions surrounding its decision to deny entry to Nigerian nationals, saying the move forms part of heightened public health measures linked to Ebola concerns. In a statement, authorities said non-nationals arriving from countries considered high- risk will not be permitted entry as health officials work to reduce possible exposure to the virus. The government referenced a risk advisory from the Nigeria Center for Disease Control and Prevention, which has warned of a high risk of Ebola importation due to continued transmission in parts of Africa and travel through major transport hubs.
Officials noted that Nigeria has not recorded a confirmed case linked to the current outbreak, but said the advisory has informed local screening and border control measures. Health authorities have confirmed that there are no suspected or confirmed cases of Ebola in St. Kitad Neas and say the overall risk to the public remains low.
My talk family, the World Health Organization historically emphasized, however, that Ebola is not airborne and that the risk of transmission during air travel is generally low.
The WH previously advised against broad travel bans and insisted favored screening and monitoring protocols.

And the third observation observation my family I thought I would take it as an observation in review since I saw it after I ended my program last week Thursday.
It's an email that I received from one James M. Gascal and his content forced me to make it an observation and I intend and I therefore read his content.
For those who know James Gascal, I've never met him before, but over the years I I followed his his his writings and very interesting, highly intellectual gentleman.
And this email reads, and I quote, "Brother Patches, is there anything left of you, the courageous patches who last week railed against corruption in St. Kitsan Levis?
I followed you since the public launch of the Levis's destiny project with admiration and respect.
Today you are to be found at the court of the most corrupt administration in the history of the United States on a podcast with Dean Keane, a Trump and Israel worshipper.
Apparently, it continues, "You are not there to probe or question.
Is said to be a nodding jenny.
You look uneasy in the task." He continues, "This is extraordinary, disappointing, and sad for your earth's wild key supporters.
I cling to the hope that the objective journalists in you will soon prevail.
To maintain journalistic standards within the Washington swamp, you may need a crash course in current year's politics and the misinformation put out by the White House and its psychopans.
You seem excited to tell us that you were going to Israel where you expected to meet important people.
You need a counterbalance to Aden Kaine who calls Trump a fantastic president and declares himself a great supporter of Israel.
A daily email called letters from an American by historian Heather Cox Richardson would set you right on the facts and information on Israel, Iran, and the Middle East can come from many sources.
You did not query Mr. Kaine saying that Iran was the main or sole cause of upset in the area and that this had been caused for 47 years.

Suffice to add, however, that western powers and elites often speak today in the language of morality, democracy, and human rights. Yet many of those same civilizations accumulated wealth and geopolitical dominance through colonial conquest, slavery and imperial control.
From that standpoint, I question whether contemporary critiques come from descendants or beneficiaries of those systems should be presented as morally unassalable.
At the same time, there is also a counterargument worth recognizing to it. Modern individuals, my straight dog family, are not automatically personally responsible for every crime or injustice committed by their ancestors of former empires.
Nevertheless, political legitimacy today is usually judged by the strength of arguments, facts, and conduct in the present.
James, I find it imperative though to highlight the tension which is one of the historical memory versus contemporary moral positioning.
And I asked these questions. Can postc colonial societies be lectured by representatives of former imperial cultures without acknowledgement of history?
Can modern political criticism be separated from colonial legacy? And who gets to define morality in a world shaped by empire?
Those are legitimate and enduring Caribbean political questions that need to be addressed, my James. And by the way, a world shaped by empire therefore means the modern international system did not emerge on equal terms.
Power accumulated unevenly through conquest and colonization.
and many present day in inequalities, conflicts and alliances still carry the imprint of those historical forces.
But for Caribbean thinkers, this idea is especially powerful because the region was one of the central laboratories of empire built on slavery, sugar, shipping, and strategic control of the Western Hemisphere.
James M. Gascal, your derogatory statement, and I quote, "Apparently, you are not there to probe or question, instead to be a nodding jenny."
Attempts to insult my intellectual independence or courage is a clear reflection of pure ideological position regarding Trump, conservative American politics, Israel, and global nationalism.
But history does not support the simplistic political propaganda that attempts to brand only one American political party as the author of racism while ignoring the documented record of the other.
The truth is far more complex, James, and for decades, many ideological activists deliberately distorted that history for political advantage.
James, it was the Democratic Party in the American South that defended slavery before the Civil War, resisted reconstruction after emancipation, and enforced the system of segregation known as Jim Crow. Do you recall, James, that many of the lawmakers who opposed civil rights legislation in the 1950s and 1960s were southern Democrats?
The Krook clan also found much of its early political protection and influence within Democratic strongholds in the south. Meanwhile, the Republican Party was founded in the 1850s on an anti-slavery platform.
It was Abraham Lincoln, the first Republican president, led the Union during the Civil War and issued the Emancipation Proclamation.

James, those are my people. Those are my observations for tonight. And I move right into my thesis which I've titled Great Leaders Choose to Forgive Their Enemies.
My Straight Talk family, I have long held some strong views privately about the possibility of our opposition parties coming together again, but I have never expressed them publicly.
However, just last week, I heard a well-known businessman and political activist, and I dare call him my friend, Austin Kok.
And those of us who know Austin are well aware that he is never out of words.
And to put it mildly, he is very assertive and never afraid to say whatever is on his mind.
Last week I heard Austin say this sham. My name is Austin Coker.
I am a I a proud Sandy Pointer.
And whether you like what I'm going to say or you don't like it, I just have to speak my mind.
I am a strong supporter of the people's action movement and I'm also a financer in number four.
If you would tell me as Koka that after Timothy came into Sandy Point and call you mumu and you are now saying about a collision I don't have a problem with a collision you know but say straight straight forward you know sh Timothy has no leader you know are you free to say it you know because he come on the air and he say fire six and he call you mu This not going to work. You know this not going to work. Anybody else you could join with whoever you want and join but the leadership must fall under the pal umbrella. Straight forward straight forward.
I take those words very deep because Sandy point and if he call you mu he mean that mim. So you don't play na eve step on the airway that Tim will not be the leader.

But nothing like like uh the slow student by family. This is a real PhD.
But I have said some things about Shawn and he has said some things about Patches.
But I will go on record tonight and state that. But I believe that Sean Richards is a pragmatic politician.
And as a political leader, I believe that Sha focuses more on achieving practical results than on rigid ideology or personal grievances.
What other interpretation can derive from his response to Austin Koko?
>> What are your views? because you were involved more than anybody else in in in this arrangement. So what are your views in regard to uh another partnership with the People's Labor Party? Are you for it? Are you against it? If you are for it, what would that look like for you?
I have said to the leader of action movement that PAM is in the process of rebuilding. Each and every single PAM candidate need to go out there and do work. They must work work.
It is only after they have done the work and you're satisfied that you've done your best. If you need to look at a collision, then you do so. In any event, if you decide to go into a collision, the coalition is only as strong as the candidates within the coalition.
If the candidates are not doing the work, the coalition cannot win. So the focus must be at this particular point in time on doing work.
Until you do the work, you do not know what the prospects of the party will be.
And so the candidates must do the work.
When you have done the work, then you do the necessary assessments to determine if it is necessary to have a coalition in order for you to get back in government. Of course you can do scientific polls to help you to gauge that particular decision. But again, even if you do your scientific polls and the work is not being done, where does it leave the collision? And so while there appears to be some focus on whether or not there is going to be a collision, the focus at this particular point in time ought to be first and foremost on doing the work in all of the constituencies.
Even if you go into arrangement, then some of the that you have to look at is who is best suited to win a particular constituency.
If you don't have candidates in the doing work, then you sort of stabbing in the dark, you need to have some indication as to which candidate is most likely to gain the confidence of the people. And so the candidates again must go out and do the work. And so that must be the priority of the people's action movement at this particular point in time.
If after doing all then you feel is the for coalition then you begin to look at that particular that is my view in terms of coision at this time and my family the view of a man who is fresh with a PhD in creative leadership in innovation and change and Sean Richards is right.
You have to do the work for him to win five successive elections in San Point.
Sean Richards had to be an astute politician as well as one who knows that parties contest elections to get in to government.
However, I'm also confident of the fact that no political party really and truly wants to be in opposition.
Every political party, I mean the goal of political party is to be in government to improve the of living for the people of the country and my family. Of course, of course he is human.
So he will not forget what he was called.
It is a sentiment that is often expressed by the people's action movement in regards to Timothy Harris and Timothy Harris wanting to lead any government in the future. He went into Sandy Point and he called me momo. And that is something I have not forgotten. And it is something I will not forget because I gave my poll support to Timothy Harris in 2020.
And I'm sure that Sean will give his support to Timothy Harris again because just like the candidates have to do their work, Sean has to to to determine whether he as a leader can win the elections.
Remember what happened in Trinidad and Tobago.
But history provides many examples of leaders who acted pragmatically.
Think about Abraham Lincoln who built alliances with former rivals to preserve the Union during the American Civil War.
Think about Nelson Mandela who chose reconciliation over revenge after a path ended in South Africa.
Think about Winston Churchill who worked with ideological opponents during World War II because defeating a greater threat mattered more.
So in practical terms and in my humble opinion, a pragmatic politician may believe that and I said this before that there are no permanent friends or enemies in politics, only permanent interests.
Critics sometimes accuse pragmatic politicians of being opportunistic or inconsistent.
Supporters, however, argue that pragmatism is necessary for governance because politics is ultimately about solving problems, maintaining stability, and advancing the public good.
Politics is not a game for the weak-hearted, nor is it a place where emotions alone can guide national destiny.
Politics is ultimately about leadership, sacrifice, maturity, and above all the future of the people.
Today, our beloved nation of St. Kitsen Neas stands at an important crossroads.
Many citizens are frustrated.
Many are disappointed.
Many are asking when will the present administration truly deliver on the promises made nearly 4 years ago.
They promised my straight dog family 2400 houses. Yes, they did. I want to take this opportunity to highlight the minister of housing because we made a promise to the people of St. Kitson Neas that we will build 2,400 houses. We said to them that the houses will be stronger, that they will be able to withstand category 5 hurricanes.
We said to them that they will come with the opportunity for you to extend.
We also say that they will come with basic appliances and cupboards and good tiling and all of the other amenities that would make a home fitting for you, the people of St. Kitsen Neas. And we were doubted because if you were not in our position, you would doubt as well.
If you were not in the position of East Coast, you would doubt as well. So those of us on the inside, even though the storm was w raging on the outside, the storms of doubt and the storm of talking innuendos and the accusations that this is not possible, we did not respond in kind. We said that at the right time, the program and the houses will speak for themselves.
Well, these houses has taken a long time to speak for themselves.
Where's the smart hospital? Where are all the capital projects due promise?
>> The capital project. I will say, let me go through them for you if you don't mind.
Smart homes on their way.
Right. On the way.
The hospital on the way as well. The school on the way as well.
The solar plant or solar farm on the way as well.
There are some others I will mention not yet but they are definitely coming on the way. We have about two other major investments. one will be an agriculture major investment that will also come. We have an investment for the hos for the port that is advancing um significantly as well. I'm saying that when in the next few months I'm almost certain that we'll run out of construction workers here.
Remember he promised that 600 workers will be for this agricultural project Tabasco.
>> Madam Speaker, we have calculated that every 10 acres, every 10 acres will produce 30 jobs. So 100 acres will produce 300 jobs and 200 acres will produce 600 jobs. Madam Speaker, for those who are in the agricultural field, we are going to mix it with other crops.
What I'm simply saying here is that we're going in back into large farm production of peppers and other crops so that it can add to our revenues and also help with our food security and also make sure that sinkits become a net exporter of certain crops instead of a net importer. Madam Speaker, >> and the promised to Bastia High School in 18 months, my street dog family, >> because students have been waiting for over 10 years, and in a mere 3 and 1/2, 4 years, this government was able to prove to them that something is in fact happening. It might not have happened or look like it was happening based on how we wanted to be looking at it. But what I can say, Nina, being an expert, I didn't realize so much work must have been put in place even before we get to you seeing even a piece of steel. And from all reports, the project is on its way. And as we indicated, 90% of the workers would be from the Federation.
And then we heard that this wonderful school is being manufactured in Barbados.
>> As expressed by the minister last year, June, construction had commenced with the excavation of the site. This rank concurrently with the rendering and molds, design plans, etc. being prepared and tested at the factory in Barbados.
As of now, the Basia High School is fully designed and pre-casting and molding works at the factory has already begun with the first foundation kits.
Four containers full to be specific have already being loaded for shipment from Barbados to sink kit and being shipped out on the 10th of March with subsequent shipments almost weekly. The foundation kits are pre-built reinforcement and prepared structural components so that once they arrive in sink kit and foundations are installed, the next phase of the structure can follow in sequence which is the assembling of the pre-casted panels which are already being constructed as well and will be shipped subsequently. So the answer is yes. Construction has started and is actively on the way. The full build of the project is expected to run for just under two years beginning this month, March 2026.

I went to Barbados, recall, and I can tell you what a lie. And I can go on and on to report on this do nothing government.

There is growing concern about the direction of the country, the state of the economy, the rising cost of living, and the absence of confidence and momentum that our people desperately need.
Yet, even in moments like these, the opposition faces a difficult reality of its own.
There are still wounds from the past.
But let us be real, that's nothing new in politics.
Even Brantley confessed that when he got into office with team unity that the relationship between Sit and has never been better.

Now in NEAS for the first time people are not seeing those age old distinctions that we used to have. If you want a job and a job is at park hired people going park hired to work wherever work is in the country people are saying I am a national of this country and I'm taking advantage of that. People of sinkits are taking advantage of opportunities in the US and vice versa. So you know why ultimately we are two islands one paradise. two islands but one country and we need to continue to ensure that all of our people benefit from all that we have to offer as a country. I thank the honorable prime minister. I thank team unity and the vision that went into this. I have said so many of times writing sink kits that we come from desperate places and desperate backgrounds. When I was in opposition, another man used to talk as hard to me as Timothy Harris when he talking from over there. Talk hard. I used to frame him big.
So to come from there to where we are now >> says to you that we were able to PUT AWAY THOSE THINGS AND come together.
PUT AWAY THOSE THINGS AND COME TOGETHER.
But can they put away those things again and come together?
Because there are supporters who remember harsh words, political attacks, insults, betrayals, and divisions between former coalition partners.
Some say they can support unity but not certain personalities.
Others believe all political battles should never be forgotten.
But we were able to put away those things and come together before. Why can't we do it again? Why can't we?
But history teaches us something powerful.
Great leaders do not allow personal feelings to destroy national opportunities.
Great leaders understand that forgiveness is not weakness.
Forgiveness is strategy.
Forgiveness is maturity.
Forgiveness is patriotism.
Around the world, nations have advanced because leaders who once fought bitter political wars eventually recognized that the greater mission was bigger than themselves. They understood that people or the people mattered more than pride.
The country mattered more than ego. The future mattered more than all quarrels.
And so the question before us is simple.
Do we remain divided and guaranteed and guarantee political defeat? Or do we unite with wisdom and create the possibility of national renewal?
Those who oppose cooperation between PAL and PLP must understand one fundamental political truth.
Divided opposition always strengthens the ruling Terrence Michael Drew incompetent do nothing government.
Every day spent fighting each other is another day. The Labor administration benefits from opposition fragmentation.
No matter what you hear people say.
Take my word. This is not about personalities.
It is not about who insulted whom years ago.
It is not about political vanity or emotional revenge.
It is about the survival and advancement of St. Kits and Navis.
If coalition politics once succeeded in removing what many considered an entrenched administration, then coalition politics can again become a vehicle for change, but only if leaders and supporters alike rise above bitterness.
The people of this country are not demanding perfection. They are demanding leadership. They are demanding unity of purpose. They are demanding courage. And courage sometimes means shaking the hand of a former adversary for the greater national good. No serious political movement can move forward while chained to anger or to the anger of the past.
Nations do not progress through hatred.
Countries do not develop through division.
Political maturity requires compromise, discipline and vision. Let us therefore reject the politics of permanent enemies. Let us embrace the politics of permanent national interest. Because at the end of the day, governments are not changed by emotion alone. Governments are changed by organization strategy, coalition building and the willingness to put country above self or before self.
Great leaders forgive enemies not because they forget the past but because they understand that the future is more important.
And if Senis and Neas is to move forward, then all those who truly desire change must now decide whether they love victory more than division, whether they love country more than conflict, and whether they possess the political wisdom to unite for the benefit of generations yet unborn.
May wisdom prevail. Great leaders understand that bitterness may satisfy emotions for a moment, but forgiveness builds nations, movements, and history.
Nelson Mandela emerged from prison, not preaching revenge, but reconciliation.
Abraham Lincoln called for healing with malice toward none was his words. Even in the facest political struggles, visionary leaders recognize that division weakens a people while unity strengthens a cause. Today we too stand at such a crossroads. We can remain prisoners of past insults, betrayals and political wounds or we can rise above them in pursuit of a greater national purpose. Forgiveness does not mean forgetting the past or surrendering principles. It means placing country above ego and future above resentment.
It means understanding that the people demand leadership, maturity and courage, not endless political warfare. History will not remember those who held grudges.
History will remember those who had the strength to unite, the wisdom to reconcile, and the courage to place the interests of the nation above personal animosity.
Great leaders choose not revenge, but responsibility, not division, but destiny, not hatred, but hope. And when the future of a country is at stake, great leaders choose to forgive their enemies. And that's my story tonight. And I'm not going to change it. I'll open the lines and entertain your calls and your emails.
And before I do so, momentarily, I anticipate that we or I implore you, I should say, to respect others. And to achieve that, we must first respect ourselves.
Let us try to build goodwill and better friendship.

They said the status suggesting that Harris should ignore the advice of the task force and open up the country to make money. Now today, with the arrival of these suspected Ebola Nigerians that were refused entry into the federation, it was very intriguing to hear this Labor government declaring that the Nigerians were denied entry on the advice of their medical team. Hypocrites and parasites, all of them raise this other email.

The prime minister himself being the minister of health, he wasn't proactive enough. Remember all these trips that they go on and remember the halabaloo that we had about Nigeria, the Nigeria trip. If he knew these Nigerians was coming in, he should have been proactive enough to prevent that public display on the tarmac up at the airport. Because no matter what we say patches, that's going to be looked at in in a bad way for the federation of sinistas. And here we have him trying to build a relationship with Nigeria and the same Nigerians now are being rejected.

They should have had a um a contingent plan and how to deal with those Nigerians if they're so concerned about the Ebola scare, but the Ebola been in the news for weeks now. They knew that this flight was going to come. Antigga took the action to reject the flight.
Why did the flight end up in Wait, why did any transit flight end up in Sinkis from Barbados? they weren't proactive enough to either reject them from the getgo so that they don't land on that tarmac or or put the contingent plan in place and what become of those Nigerians where they are now they did send them back and what became of the passengers the other passengers that was on board are would are those passengers quarantined because if they're concerned about the health scare suppose they had one or two persons on board which was infected Betty, those other passengers who stayed in sink as if they were locals, they would need to be quarantined.
Let me move away from that real quickly and I'll let free up the lines, man, and try to come back in. The wranglings is back between Sinkis and NAS, particularly the federal government and the NIA government.
Really and truly, we cannot ignore it.
It's a public display between the premier and the prime minister over that destiny project. And it's it's so ironic that they're going back and forth with this stuff when they both are the ones that table that bill in parliament and facilitated that law. If both of them still think that that project is so good for NEAs and the wider federation, they should have had their act together.
Man, Dr. you the buck stops with him. He doesn't have to beat around the bush. He didn't have to create that ad hot committee. You know, if the patches man put a constitution and all these things that you put up on the the screen tonight, if Mark Brantley, he probably technically made a mistake. He should have tried to get that project going and let it let the NI NIA be the last author authoritative to to to to push that project forward. Don't let it be that you have to depend on the federal government. I don't know if that's already like how it is with the Constitution based on those um points she was making tonight, but >> give consent.

Thanks for that. If he if he really, you know, sometimes he makes some political blunders, he should not have give that consent to the federal government. He should have find a way to get the NIA to approach the federal government. If he's buttering up you like that, they got the majority in the parliament to do such, isn't it? I mean, this stuff, man, is unbelievable. What's going on in Sinis Neas? If authorities genuinely believe exposure was possible, every passenger should have been treated as a potential contact under internationally accepted public health procedures. Instead, what the public witnessed appears to be selective enforcement targeting African nationals while the government attempted to score political points through fearbased optics. The administration now finds itself trapped by its own inconsistency.

It means understanding that the people demand leadership, maturity and courage, not endless political warfare. History will not remember those who held grudges. History will remember those who had the strength to unite, the wisdom to reconcile, and the courage to place the interests of the nation above personal animosity.
Great leaders choose not revenge, but responsibility, not division, but destiny, not hatred, but hope. And when the future of our country is at stake, great leaders choose to forgive their enemies. And that's my story tonight.
