Josef Mengele, the notorious Nazi doctor known as the 'Angel of Death' for his experiments on concentration camp prisoners, escaped justice after World War II and lived in South America until his death at age 67, raising questions about whether Swiss authorities had information about his whereabouts during the 1950s and 1960s but never disclosed it, as sealed Swiss files may reveal.

He Escaped and Died in Peace追加:
So, yeah, I don't think I need to say anymore. But, the worst part about all of this is that after World War II ended, unlike many members of the German military who were caught and faced justice, Josef Mengele, the one more deserving of justice almost than any of the others, did not. He escaped. And in fact, he fled Germany and lived the rest of his life in peace in South America until he died of natural causes at the age of 67. Now, this is one of those stories which really, unfortunately, makes you realize there is no cosmic morality balance saying, "Okay, if you do bad things, you're going to live a horrible life."
However, that is not where the story ends, or at least that's what's suspected. Because there has been a theory for a really long time that Josef Mengele actually visited Switzerland numerous times in the 1950s and 1960s, despite there being an international warrant for his arrest. And some historians currently believe that Swiss authorities looked into this, and they had information on his life and his movements in the years following the war, which would be documented and sealed in these files, which have been sealed for decades. And of course, because access to this information keeps on getting blocked, it's fueled a lot of theories on whether Switzerland had information on not only his whereabouts, but other Nazis, but never disclosed it.
And I mean, if they had the opportunity to arrest this person and never did, that would be huge.
