[00:00:00]Sometimes it's just I just want to share good news. Last week I learned about a student named Wendy Vega. She's a premed student at Texas State University. The bad thing about it was last year on her 19th birthday she got detained by ICE at a routine appointment. Was found out later that her case was a mistake. She was still held in detention for 10 months. Wasn't supposed to be there.

[00:00:29]wants to be a pediatrician. She lost her scholarship because I detained her without cause. I didn't like it. I tried to figure out what I could do. Wrote a letter, contacted their school, got some support from other other professionals.
