How much time and energy are you spending when you're at the gym? I do this, like looking around and being like, "Oh, that person has a six-pack and I don't." Social comparison does not help if you're doing it in a way that does not inspire you. So, just noticing that's an external thing, like looking at your phone or looking around you and comparing yourself to people.
