Roblox Anime Vanguard Lawsuit Is CRAZY..

[00:00:03]Recently, some massive news came out involving the popular Roblox game Anime Vanguards, where a lawsuit has been filed against two of the games owners by a former programmer and a former owner was seeking over $7 million in damages along with $8 million in copyright related claims. This puts the total at around $15 million, making this one of the largest lawsuits we have ever seen in the Roblox community. According to the lawsuit, Hate claims he was pressured and coerced into giving up his percentage stake in the game before eventually being cut off from the team and fired entirely. But it gets even worse because he also claims the team continued to use his work after removing him, which is where the copyright claim comes into play. To make matters even worse, this is not the only serious allegation surrounding anime Vanguards right now. Other people have also come forward claiming they were allegedly scanned by higher-ups connected to the game. On top of that, there's also extremely concerning allegations being made against the owner of the game, Scif, including allegations of which he has denied and claims he plans to sue over for defamation. Now, ever since around February of 2026, it's been pretty well known throughout the parts of the Roblox community that some of the high-erups behind anime Vanguards were allegedly extremely shady. A user named Lone Gladiator made a viral tweet claiming he had personally been scammed out of over $20,000 while also alleging that he was far from the only victim. He posted Discord DM showing himself messaging Saiia, the owner of Anime Vanguards, asking to be paid for his contributions to the game, only to allegedly receive no response before eventually being blocked entirely. Lone Gladiator would then go on to bring up another developer named Tobias, who also claimed that anime Vanguards had allegedly scammed him as well, while additionally stating that he had been demoted for no valid reason. Gladiator also claimed that another contributor named Lord was yet another alleged victim who had not been properly compensated for work done on the game. Now, the anime Vanguard's team did respond to these allegations publicly inside their Discord server.

[00:02:00]They claimed that Gladiator actually was paid while also accusing him of having a terrible work ethic and allegedly harassing other developers privately, which they claimed was the real reason he was terminated from the project. But Gladiator immediately fired back, arguing that this was nothing more than deflection. According to him, the only reason they finally paid him at all was because he threatened legal action and they caved in to avoid bigger problems.

[00:02:23]He also claimed that Tobias and Ward, the two other contributors he mentioned earlier, still had not been properly compensated for their work on the game to this day. Well, as of recently, unlike those previous disputes, Anime Vanguard is now facing something far more serious because this time they've been hit directly with the massive lawsuit by someone who actually appears to have the resources and funding to fight back in court. And essentially, the lawsuit was filed by a developer named Hack, who allegedly owned around 20% of anime Vanguards while also serving as one of the games lead programmers. Hack had also reportedly signed his rights over to Boss Studio, which is a massive Roblox development studio responsible for games with billions of visits, meaning that any damages recovered through this lawsuit, could also partially benefit Boss Studio through their back-end agreement. Now, the two defendants in this lawsuit, meaning the people being sued, are the co-owners of anime Vanguards, Popov and Akuna. Now, according to Adam Star, the general counsel at Dubig Studio, who publicly broke down parts of the lawsuit on Twitter, the filing claims that Hack was originally hired back in 2024 to provide programming services for the game and was initially paid in Robux for his work. But after a few months, Hack allegedly proposed a much larger arrangement. According to the lawsuit, he would receive a 20% ownership stake in Anime Vanguards, meaning he would earn over 20% of the game's revenue in exchange for essentially taking over management of the project itself. And according to that filing, that responsibility was massive. Hack allegedly handled major programming work, updates, management, advertisement, and overall development coordination for the game, effectively taking on a huge portion of the responsibility behind Anime Vanguard success. In fact, the lawsuit outright claims that it was specifically because of hacks management and contributions that Anime Vanguards managed to recover from a decline in popularity and regain its position as a top Roblox game, eventually peaking at over a 100,000 concurrent users. However, according to the lawsuit, things allegedly started to fall apart behind the scenes in late 2025. The filing claims that private disputes started emerging over the management of the game, and eventually Pop Off, one of the percentage owners, allegedly threatened to quit the project entirely unless Hack agreed to cut his ownership share in half, dropping it down from 20% to 10. But what makes these allegations especially disturbing is what the lawsuit claims happened next. According to the filing, Popov allegedly used threats involving and emotional manipulation in order to pressure Hack into agreeing to these terms. The lawsuit claims that Hack eventually gave in and under that pressure agreed to reduce his ownership state. Now, shortly after this, as of January 2026, without any notice and against hacks consent, it is stated that Popov and Akuna essentially removed his ownership group membership on Roblox, removed him from all ownership Roblox channels, stripped him of his management position, and withheld all of his revenue share, which if true is absolutely insane and pathetic. Now, Hack and his lawyer proceed to make the point that his relinquishment of the percentage share is null and void as it was done under duress and under the threat of popoffs unless he complied, making it feel as if he had no other choice. They also proceeded to make the argument that it was not a fair decision regardless, as he received nothing of value from relinquishing the 10%. They also go on to state that this was evidently a breach of contract as it was clearly established in the Discord messages that he was entitled to the 20% for his large contribution to the game which they clearly did not respect or properly adhere to. Hack also states that he owns the US registered copyrights covering the game source code, visual effects, and assets he created specifically for the game to which apparently the co-owners were still using to this day despite having abruptly kicked him off the team back in January. In total, Hack is seeking over $7 million in damages for business related matters, and over $8 million in copyright violations, punitive damages, his lawyer fees, and is now seeking a future royalty of 20% of the game's future revenue. Now, with this lawsuit making the rounds on Twitter, the defendant's response is due in 30 days.

[00:06:07]So, many people are waiting to see what they have to say on their side of the entire situation. Also, keep in mind, all accusations and statements presented in the lawsuit are simply just allegations and have not been substantiated or proven in the court of law. From an outside perspective, however, it is interesting to see an alleged pattern of scamming that's been revolving around this game. And where there's smoke, there's most likely fire.

[00:06:27]Now, as of recently as well, a document began circulating around accusing SciF, the owner of anime Vanguards, of Now, this document attempts to claim that Scif was 18 to 19 at the time of making a comment shown as he was born on June 29th, 2005. In another screenshot presented, they attempt to spin the accusation that Scif expressed weird behavior in the Discord server to numerous users. he did not verify the age of with him allegedly using the excuse that he was a minor recently meaning that he had just turned 18 at the time. The document then proceeds to use this as evidence of SCF spreading which is a pretty insane term to use for something like this. At bare minimum if this is true it's just weird and negligent behavior not inherently. Now this document continues to try and expose and villainize Sia for a relationship he had with her boyfriend with a slightly less than a 2-year age gap between them. Now, not to play devil's advocate here, a 2-year age gap is most certainly not whatsoever and is a relatively common age gap dynamic. The document then attempts to inflate the age gap to make it appear almost 3 years when it was not. You can clearly see that Scif was referring to the relationship in a past tense. Yet, this document attempts to construe it as it's still continuing when he was about to turn 19. In another screenshot, however, allegedly Scif had stated that minors could have toys to which the document attributes to him meaning toys. However, without the full context of this conversation, there's not much we could really go off here. And if I'm going to be honest, this document looks like it was pretty poorly written. Regardless, a lot of the claims presented are completely unsubstantiated, such as labeling him a The rest of the document continues by showing SciF allegedly making a myriad of very edgy comments about liking people, sharing memes to do a cheese pizza, and even making other jokes about. Another statement was even shown of SC stating that miners were banned from sending pictures in the server because they were unable to take safer work photos, which is actually relatively concerning considering the server allows people as young as 13. If true, this is a massive oversight that could have put miners posting these pictures in serious danger of being bad actors. Now, when this document was shared in the UTDX Discord server, the person who had spread it in the announcements suddenly received a warning on Discord, which they attributed to it being false reports from Scyif and his friends. hack referenced to as Kazy or Kazi is also currently a VFX developer for the game and has recently shared news about the lawsuit they have filed stating, "I believe the recent public response made by Scif does not accurately reflect the situation and I strongly dispute the allegations made up against me."

[00:09:04]However, I intend to address those matters through the proper legal channels rather than through the public back and forth statements. That being said, yesterday with Brandon's assistance, I was finally able to formally file a lawsuit to protect my rights and interests regarding to anime Vanguards. The complaint has now been filed publicly and can be reviewed here.

[00:09:21]In response, SciF proceeded to make an extremely large response document and followed up by stating he would seek legal action for the damages caused to his reputation from what he calls the false allegations and slander which was spread. In his own response document, he categorically denies ever miners miners possessing or distributing operating service to minor or engaging in conduct.

[00:09:44]Scif proceeds to also clarify that he was not the owner of the fanboy discord server. However, he was high ranked but only for a short period of time. He goes on to acknowledge however that the mixed age environment that allowed people 13 years of age and up money could cause problems. However, no to his knowledge ever came from it. He also states how there was no channel presented in the server. And in reference to the screenshot where he stated that miners were not able to post pictures as they would not be safe for work, he did not mean from that comment that any instances were inherently despite people perceiving it that way.

[00:10:15]Sc also goes on to establish how the document blurs the lines between edgy jokes he made and actual actions and intent. He establishes how many of the screenshots being used against him were in fact just dark humor comments that he absolutely takes accountability for and regrets saying due to poor and cringe nature of them. however, affirms that these statements do not make him a whatsoever, as there was no legitimate intent. Scif also gives more insight to the age gap between him and his exartner, showing that indeed there was a less than 2-year age gap between them, making this entire point a nothing burger regardless, and something that should not have been added to a document when basting him as a Now, in regards to this entire situation, it is extremely messy to say the least. And this video only scratches the top of the iceberg in terms of all the claims against Sia. And I can assure you that in the next few months, this situation will most likely get even bigger. In my opinion, even though the claims against SCIF seem to be an extreme read and unsubstantiated from a document that contains numerous spelling mistakes and is poorly structured, the accusations of copyright violation and scamming seem to be pretty legit. And it's going to be really interesting to see what kind of response is made by the owners of AV and SCAV.
