For more of you watching this channel, without twisting much time, ladies and gentlemen, I want us to go directly into uh the interview. This interview regarding Rigathi Gachagua was the one hosted and Rigathi did deliver very very shocking statements and even gone to an extent of delivering bad statement William Samoei Ruto how he's going to face a tough re-election battle. Uh he didn't want somebody who is an independent thinker and he didn't want somebody who can stand his ground and say this is wrong, this is right. But he needed numbers.

[00:00:55]>> He wanted me as a running mate, but he didn't want me as his deputy.

[00:00:59]>> He wanted you as a flower girl. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:01:01]He wanted me as a guy to mobilize numbers. Thereafter, become a flower girl. Oh, wow. And then I couldn't be a flower girl. You refused.

[00:01:09]>> You can't I can't be a flower girl. So he had to get rid of me and get a flower girl. So he got the best of the two worlds. He got one guy who can mobilize numbers, okay? Yeah. Once he achieved the presidency, get rid of him and now get another flower flower girl for the desired. Now the only problem now he has he has to face an a re-election.

[00:01:31]Now from that video, ladies and gentlemen, Rigathi has talked about a flower girl.

[00:01:38]How he was to be a running mate, but not a deputy president of William Samoei Ruto.

[00:01:44]Now the big question to you, ladies and gentlemen, is do you agree with Rigathi Gachagua on his statements? Do you agree with him?

[00:01:55]Rigathi has talked about him being a running mate, but not Ruto's preferred president deputy president.

[00:02:02]Now, let's go back to the story of what what happened when William Samoei Ruto suddenly decided to settle for Rigathi Gachagua. Now, back then and the story is out there in the public domain that Kithure Kindiki was the one the likes of Kimani Ichung'wah and the rest wanted William Ruto to settle for.

[00:02:26]But, Ruto saw to it that the best person to be with him was rather Rigathi Gachagua because he felt Rigathi Gachagua was a bit old and was not going to give him much competition, but he figured that Kithure Kindiki was still young and was going to give him a stiff competition. So, he decided to settle on Rigathi Gachagua because of the relationship he had with Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta. So, William Ruto thought that he was trying to be very smart.

[00:02:54]But, the big question is is he that smart?

[00:02:59]Now, Rigathi was impeached and that informs the fact that Rigathi maintains that that is the main reason why he was not to be the deputy president of William Samoei Ruto. So, William Ruto had his own uh or preferences and not uh Rigathi Gachagua. So, that could explain why Ruto quickly sought to have him impeached and that's why he was impeached.

[00:03:25]Now, the big question is is Kithure Kindiki going to deliver for William Samoei Ruto come 2027?

[00:03:33]>> [clears throat] >> Well, statistics are out there. You can tell whether he's going to do that or not going to do that. Right now, ladies and gentlemen, the only block that Rigathi Gachagua knows Kithure Kindiki might get is Tharaka Nithi because that is where Kithure Kindiki comes from, and those people feel privileged having a deputy president for the first time since Kenya got its independent.

[00:03:59]It has always been this other side of Mount Kenya, but not the lower side, the eastern.

[00:04:06]That is Meru, Embu, Tharaka-Nithi. They've never enjoyed such kind of leadership. In fact, all the presidents have come from this other side of Mount Kenya, especially Nyeri and Kiambu. You know, Uhuru Kenyatta, Jomo Kenyatta, and then Nyeri we had Mwai Kibaki. But, these people of Meru, Embu, and Tharaka-Nithi have never enjoyed such kind of leadership. So, Rigathi knows very well that the people in Tharaka-Nithi are going to vote for William Ruto. Though, they're going to share.

[00:04:41]Maybe he might get 50%, 40%, but majority of them are going to vote for uh uh the opposition party. And we're talking about people like Kalonzo Musyoka.

[00:04:53]They're also going to to enjoy some votes from that region.

[00:04:56]So, Rigathi has emphasized that Ruto is going to get difficulty in seeking re-election, especially getting votes from the mountain.

[00:05:08]But again, I know there is already a strategy on board to try to replace the lost votes in Mount Kenya. And the strategy is North Eastern votes. So, that North Eastern block is what the likes of Duale wants to capitalize in so that they can try to replace the votes that Ruto could have gotten from the mountain.

[00:05:28]So, he's not going to get the votes in the mountain, but the ones he's going to get in the north from the North Eastern will replace the ones he has lost from the mountain. But, the big question again is, will he get those votes in the from the North Eastern?

[00:05:41]Because if there's a fuel hike, it has affected the whole nation. In fact, even the people not eastern are also affected. So Rigathi has a point in this interview that the re-election that is the biggest monster in William Ruto's maths, ladies and gentlemen. So, what do you think about Rigathi's statement, him not being a flagger? So, who is the flagger? He's talked about the best of the flaggers. So, he was trying to refer to Kithure Kindiki that that is what Ruto picked as his preferred flagger.
