This match highlights an impressive balance between technical engineering and high-stakes team coordination. It proves that success in robotics depends as much on strategic communication as it does on hardware design.

Qualification 107 - FIRST Championship - FIRST Robotics Competition - Daly DivisionAdded:
Drivers behind the lines, 3 2 1 go. All right, here we go. Match number 107.
We're playing to 125 this afternoon.
Lightning Turtles heading over from the middle of the field. A lot of fuel raining in from the red alliance, but a bunch of it just missing the hub.
Meanwhile, Under Control 1156 missing a few shots there. And over on the near side of the field, Fred making a bunch of fuel. That might be the difference in favor of our blue alliance. Blue with an 81-67 lead to end the autonomous portion of the match.
Here we go now. Red alliance shift as they quickly are starting to catch up to blue here. Bot Builders out of Brisbane, Australia scoring for the red alliance, giving the red alliance a narrow lead here with just under 2 minutes left to go. 10 seconds left in this shift. And now Alpha Z out of Romania scoring for the red alliance giving red a 152 to 101 lead.
Under a minute 45 left to go as Fred and the Flying Unicorns and Under Control all attacking that blue alliance hub.
Blue retaking the lead. And now they are over 200 points scored here with a minute and a half left to go. We're in the final seconds of this first blue alliance shift. We're about to shift over to the red side of the field and see if red can catch back up to our blue alliance.
There they go as the red alliance begins to score. That's Alpha Z out of Romania scoring along with the Australians.
10002 Red almost catching up to our blue alliance as Bot Builders continue to score fuel. Now, they retake the lead with just a few seconds left in their second shift. We're about to switch over to the blue side of the field for the final isolated shift of the match.
Blue alliance raining in fuel now retaking the lead back from the red alliance. It's going to come down to the end game portion of the match and who can manage their fuel the best. Red alliance with a little bit of an advantage having this time to collect fuel down at their end of the field. 34 seconds left to go. 321 255 is the score. Blue alliance in the lead as they close in on 360 fuel scored. Alpha Z running down and chasing fuel collecting and sending it up into that hub. Looks like they may be the only functioning red alliance scorer, but here come the Bot Builders with a hopper full of fuel.
They're starting to score now as well.
Blue crossing the 360 fuel threshold, so they get at least one ranking point. 6 seconds left to go here as the Fighting Unicorns and Fred continue to score with Under Control. And time expires on match 107.
And here they come up on the screen.
It's going to be the blue alliance winning this one.
Final score 435 to 342.
Blue alliance does pick up four ranking points in match 107.
