[00:00:27]So, I need to fit these to steer through the canals. So, let's have a look. We're going to fit them and see what's going on. These are the bearings that we have, the spherical bearings.

[00:00:37]Uh, one at the bottom, one at the top, and both of these rotate in the housing like this. And that's because the rudder shaft itself can bend in the middle. So, if you have two parallel bushes, which is what we used to see on the old school boats, they often bind.

[00:00:58]So in this locker at the back, that's the hole that this fella here should drop into.

So you can use z ink which is probably it's better in salt water but if you're in brackish water so it's like slightly salty it's slightly fresh aluminium works better and aluminium >> works better as well when it's in fresh water but when like boats for example are often in you know when you're at harbor or when you're in an estri or something like that it's often brackish so >> most of the time you don't need to the zinc's generally not as good these days so >> Mhm.
