So, we're just finishing the visit to the genocide memorial here on April 24th.
Every year, they remember and commemorate what happened to the Armenians in 1915 at the hands of the Ottoman Turks.
And so, I have been here, I think, every year for the last 5 years coming to this memorial to remember.
And uh it's a long hike. Yeah, my feet are killing me. I shouldn't have worn high heels. But I was saying to Sarah, I was like, isn't it interesting that you know, during this time on the death march to Deir ez-Zor, there would have been many families such as ours with six children or or even, you know, more children who uh had to suffer in that march.
I'm so tired.
I'm tired, Mom. You're tired? We walked a long ways, didn't we? I'm tired.
I know.
I'm tired.
We're taking a little break after a very long walk.
Still so many people walking down from the memorial.
