Rafizi denies RM8. 5mil claim over Bersama takeover追加:
Bersama co-founder Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli has denied allegations that 8.5 million ringgit was paid to take over the political party, describing the claim as slander spread by government cyber troopers and echoed by the communications minister. Rafizi said claims surrounding the alleged payments were false and politically motivated.
Rafizi said Bersama founder Tan Gin Tiang became emotional when handing over the party to him and fellow co-founder Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad. Rafizi also said the party had surpassed 20,000 members within 2 weeks in line with expectations.
He said Bersama will focus on promoting its 12 agenda Bersama framework, which he described as an effort to reform the system rather than continue existing policies with minor improvements.
