This Tornado Simulator Surprised Me!

[00:00:00]Today we're in a stormchasing game that allows you to chase mini tornadoes. It's called Storm Inc. and I'm joined by JL Kllin. So, without further ado, let's get into the video. All right, we got a storm firing and uh there are vehicle collisions. Oh my gosh. But uh yeah, there we have our storm going up and we're going to try to intercept this thing. Uh it is pretty interesting being in mini mode here. Reminds me of Tiny Sailors World if anybody remembers that game. But as you can see, we've got our storm. We've got a bit of a rain shaft coming down. I don't quite think that's a tornado, but uh I believe that is some heavy rain. I'm going to make a quick right turn here and we're going to see if we can get a full-on tornado intercept with Dominator 1 and tornado attack.

[00:00:44]>> Let's look at the uh radar. Yeah, they do actually have pixel radar and yeah, we're to the east of the hook, so we are in the path of it.

[00:00:51]>> Yep, Storm Motion should be moving directly east as well. Oh, there it is.

[00:00:54]We got a funnel coming down. I'm going to go a little bit this way and I might drop I believe I'm going to go south here and Oh, yep. There is a full-on tornado. It is It is actually going norththeast.

[00:01:08]>> I might try and get like an early intercept at this house here. Looks like it's coming right over here. So, I'm going to scoot over here. Oh, it's doing damage.

[00:01:15]>> Oh, yep. I see that. It just damaged the house. Okay, it's coming this way. I'm going to drop it down.

[00:01:20]>> Oh, I got I'm I'm in the air.

[00:01:21]>> Oh, >> I got picked up. It was like 150.

[00:01:24]>> Holy cow. All right. Uh, >> and I'm dead.

[00:01:26]>> Yep, it's coming right at me. Uh, we're going to find out how well this goes.

[00:01:31]Yeah, it looks like a really violent tornado and it's going to hit this farmstead here. We got a house. We got some silos and the barn, of course. It looks like it might just cross right behind us. And there's another tornado on the ground behind it.

[00:01:42]>> Yeah, I was about to say there's another one.

[00:01:44]>> Oh, there it goes. Ripping the barn.

[00:01:46]>> Destroying the barn.

[00:01:47]>> Yep. And a barn landed on top of the vehicle. The entire wall just landed on top and then the silos got shredded. All right, on deploying here.

[00:01:55]>> Maybe we go for I guess we stick on this one cuz since it's kind of still over here and then we catch the one behind it as it gets closer.

[00:02:02]>> Gotcha. I see you. I'm going to get into the path here. Try for another direct intercept. I kind of missed a direct intercept, but I did get hit by some debris. So, that was insane.

[00:02:11]>> Yeah, this is a strong tornado.

[00:02:13]>> Look at how uh violent it looks. One of the things that's really awesome about this game, despite it being like a mini tornado simulator, is the tornadoes in Storm Structure look fantastic. This is a really cool looking tornado. It might be one of the best uh looking tornadoes in a Roblox game I've seen thus far. So, let's go ahead and drop it down right here in front of the path of this thing.

[00:02:36]And uh Yep. It's going to be a direct intercept. Yep. Winds are going up.

[00:02:40]>> Oh my gosh. There we go. WE'RE AIRBORNE.

[00:02:43]OH, there >> and yeah, I got damaged. The vehicle is damaged. I am dead.

[00:02:50]>> All right. Well, I spawned in as normal sized. And as you can see, this is pretty cool. When you're actually in your character mode, you can see the tornado strength where it's moving. It only disappears when you are in a vehicle, which uh I'm about to get back into.

[00:03:06]>> Yeah, I'm going to try and get in front of this uh new one.

[00:03:08]>> Yeah, I've deployed. I am getting on the highway here and I'm going to try to get in front of the uh one that is currently on the ground. It's going to be a really close range intercept. Probably not a direct for obvious reasons. We just saw what happened there. All right, this should be good. Dropping it down. Uh-oh.

[00:03:26]This may be a direct despite uh my positioning here. Or it may just cross right.

[00:03:30]>> Actually moving. Uh are those like little hay bales that it's throwing?

[00:03:34]>> Yeah, it looks like they're rolling in the field over there.

[00:03:36]>> I'm in front of the western one. So, waiting for it to get to me. It's kind of in the middle of the field where the uh that farm got destroyed by the previous one.

[00:03:44]>> Oh my gosh. All right, we're dropping it down right here. Here we go. It's close range. They're getting some winds on the animometer. Oh my goodness. It's right there. I got lofted. Oh, I'm going up the >> edge. Oh, this is bad. I'm going and I'm dead.

[00:03:59]>> Outer edge >> about 90. It's passing right in front of me.

[00:04:03]>> I won't lie. You know, I didn't have too many high hopes because it's like a mini tornado game and we've seen a lot of games that take things like, you know, large scale and then, you know, scale them down. And usually they're kind of um they're not great, but this game is really good. Uh it actually is a bit of a fun experience chasing these mini tornadoes. All right, the sun is setting right now and I can barely see anything.

[00:04:28]>> I cannot see it anymore.

[00:04:30]>> All right, I have to go look at the radar here and I'm going to get a visual. Oh yeah, look at that radar presentation. You got two hooks right next to each other. I mean, we're right next to this storm. And it looks like those are the only storms on the map at the moment. All right, a new day has dawned. The storm from last night is still ongoing with a tornado, but we've got another high risk and it's going to be fairly interesting. Oh, there you are. Look at that. There's a damage path.

[00:04:55]>> Yeah, a little bit. A lot of debark trees. And yeah, you can see that farm that basically just got leveled from that very first tornado. Oh, it looks like we already have major rotation happening.

[00:05:05]>> Oh, I think I can see that actually.

[00:05:07]>> Yeah, there's a wall cloud definitely happening. Oh, it looks like it's dropping a funnel right now.

[00:05:11]>> It's kind of buried in the rain a little bit. I think I'm to the north and basically trying to look through the forward flank.

[00:05:16]>> Oh, it's a super low LCL big tornado developing.

[00:05:21]>> Uh, so far it's just trees, but there it is going towards a house right now.

[00:05:24]>> Oh, yeah. There's a town right here.

[00:05:26]>> Oh, I'm in the air.

[00:05:27]>> Uh-oh. Oh, I see your lights. I saw your lights in the tornado >> and I'm dead. Uh oh. It's It's right here. Okay, we're going to go ahead and deploy. Drop it down. All right, drop it down. All right, I'm dropped down.

[00:05:41]Tornado is literally crossing right in front.

[00:05:43]>> Yeah, huge tornado now.

[00:05:46]>> I'm right behind it right now. We're getting strong winds. Power flash right here. Oh, yeah. It's hitting power lines right outside of town.

[00:05:53]>> Hoping I can make it before it crosses the road. It's going to be really close.

[00:05:56]>> I've got a crazy view here.

[00:05:58]>> It's like paralleling the road, actually.

[00:06:00]>> Yep. I'm dropping it down for safety.

[00:06:02]Power flash is right here. All right, we can keep going, actually.

[00:06:05]>> Yeah, you're gonna have to come down this way.

[00:06:07]>> Oh, it's heading towards the airport.

[00:06:09]Yep, it's uh coming through the field.

[00:06:11]This is going to be really bad.

[00:06:14]>> Might be a little too close.

[00:06:15]>> This is strong winds right here.

[00:06:17]>> I might be a little close.

[00:06:18]>> Oh, we're going to be toast in a minute.

[00:06:20]>> Oh, actually in the eye.

[00:06:23]>> I survived. That was a successful intercept right there. Uh oh. Uh oh.

[00:06:27]>> Okay, we're good. We're good.

[00:06:29]Undeploying.

[00:06:30]>> Starting to get night time. So now it's gonna get really hard to see.

[00:06:33]>> Uh I'm having a really difficult time driving onto the tarmac here. It's not working.

[00:06:39]>> Right here. I think it's going to be like right in this area.

[00:06:41]>> Oh, tornado's right here. There it is.

[00:06:43]Just >> Oh my gosh.

[00:06:47]>> Well, that was Yep. dead. All right.

[00:06:49]Well, it looks like we got our storm firing. So, I'm going to go ahead and spawn Dom one again, which is our flagship for this episode. uh until we upgrade. But as you can see, we've got our storm firing and we're going to take a look at the radar here and see what we got. Yep, for some reason it's already tornado warn there. But right over Temple moving southwest. So we got to get to that uh pretty quickly here. So we're going to go down the highway and we are going to try to get to this uh tool warn storm and get into the path of it here.

[00:07:21]>> Yeah, I got a uh interceptor upgrade myself. I'm now using the Tiv one, which should be a little bit of a an increase in the threshold, so hopefully I'll do a little bit better compared to tornado attack.

[00:07:32]>> Yeah, we'll see uh how that goes. I think I'm still going to get lofted with the Dom one here, but uh I have gotten one or two successful intercepts directly without getting lofted, which is nice.

[00:07:44]>> Oh, I could see rotation forming. Okay, this thing is already on the It's going to be huge. It's already a wedge almost.

[00:07:50]>> Trying to get in front of it here. I am stuck by the river.

[00:07:56]>> Yeah, this thing went from like nothing to a fullon tornado within like 3 seconds. Oh, it's like basically a wedge. It's It's going through the town here. It's going through a big town.

[00:08:05]>> I'm getting to it right now.

[00:08:06]>> Yeah, it's going through the center of the town here. Oh, it's multi vortex. It actually has like vortices in it.

[00:08:12]>> I'm getting into town right now. I'm driving through the rain.

[00:08:16]Oh, I see the right edge.

[00:08:17]>> Let's intercept it right here. Here we go. Houses are going next to me. Little bit of roof damage there. About 80 miles per hour.

[00:08:26]90. All right, I think we're good. Yeah, I did heavy damage to this town.

[00:08:30]>> We must be on two separate storms cuz I'm on one right now that uh is already on the ground but is going through a forest.

[00:08:37]>> Yeah, I know. I was on one that literally just corded like a town almost.

[00:08:41]>> Oh, wait. I see the inflow tail of that one right now. There are two tornadoes side by side. That's why I got confused.

[00:08:48]We literally have two tornadoes side by side. I'm doing a lot better with tip one compared to tornado attack. Yeah, it's a little bit slower to move, but >> I'm getting into town right here. I see where it was doing damage. I'm literally driving through the damage path right now.

[00:09:02]>> Yeah, it basically just leveled a lot of those houses or at least did heavy damage to most of them.

[00:09:07]>> I'm coming. Here I come.

[00:09:09]>> About 90.

[00:09:10]>> Drop it down. Drop it down.

[00:09:12]>> Oh gosh. Oh, I'm in the air.

[00:09:14]>> Uh I am frozen in the air right now >> and I'm dead.

[00:09:18]>> I just heard you die. I only got like 120. I don't know how I got lofted.

[00:09:22]>> Yeah, the tornado is reading 274 mph right now. It is multi vortex. Oh, this is the uh the new tornado. You've got the uh old one right here that's actually doing damage to a town right now. And then you've got the new one that is really violent and is multivore attacks right now. Holy cow. All right, we're going to deploy in the path of this thing. They're both strengthening actually. I can't really see that other one that well. I can maybe see the walk.

[00:09:50]>> It's going to cross the interstate here very shortly. It is a full-on multivortex wedge tornado. And then there's another wedge right over there.

[00:09:59]Oh my gosh.

[00:10:00]>> The uh southern one, the larger one.

[00:10:04]>> Oh, it's huge. This is a huge tornado.

[00:10:07]Oh, we're going to intercept it.

[00:10:08]Dropping it down right here. Oh my goodness. This is an insane tornado.

[00:10:16]We are about to get an direct intercept on here. Oh my gosh. It is crossing the highway right in front.

[00:10:22]>> Yeah, I'm about to intercept the uh this one.

[00:10:24]>> Power flashes.

[00:10:26]>> Oh my gosh. There it is.

[00:10:29]>> Yeah, this one's pretty strong.

[00:10:31]>> Yep. Very violent tornado right now.

[00:10:33]Crossing the highway.

[00:10:34]>> It's crossing right in front of me.

[00:10:36]>> Are you on the multi vortex one or?

[00:10:38]>> No, I'm on the southern one. I think the one that's just a large wedge basically.

[00:10:42]>> Gotcha. Oh, I can barely see right now.

[00:10:46]>> Yeah, I can't see anymore. It's just darkness now.

[00:10:48]>> Oh my gosh. Yeah, the one that's currently on the ground is the most violent we have seen. The one that's right by Grand Nacho right now is super violent.

[00:10:59]>> I'm trying to head north to see if I can see I can see some rainbands, but Oh, I see it. Oh, it's right there. It's destroying the farm in front of me.

[00:11:07]>> It is incredibly violent. I am lost.

[00:11:10]>> Oh, yeah. I see. It's like multi vortex.

[00:11:12]Yeah, it's 100 mph winds right now.

[00:11:15]>> Yeah, this thing is crazily multi vortex. I think it's coming this way.

[00:11:19]Yep, it's coming this way. I'm going to go a little bit east. All right, deploy.

[00:11:22]>> Oh, yep. I see your lights uh illuminating the tornado right now. And it is fully multivortex.

[00:11:30]Yep, there you are. I see you. Tornado.

[00:11:32]>> Let's see if I can like skirt behind it here.

[00:11:36]>> Yep, I am watching you here. It's kind of weird. It's like I'm literally looking over your vehicle walking around as you're uh attempting to intercept.
