[00:00:05]This is a KK Pit Porsche KRL XNR road car. It's a road car, it's a Porsche, and it's made by KK Pit. It looks incredible, and apparently it drives insane. You'll see it in a minute. But is this the RC road car that we've all been searching for? So let's unbox it and see what we're working with. You know what? I've always loved Porsche.

[00:00:25]Never been lucky enough to own one in real life, but there's just something about the Porsche body that's just like it's iconic. And when KK Pit turned it into an RC car, I couldn't resist it. So let's see what we've got included in this box.

[00:00:39]Pit mat, oodles and oodles of stickers.

[00:00:41]So this looks like this is going to be the lighting kit.

[00:00:44]It's like a splitter there. Oh, look at this body. Yeah. Now I've been impressed by KK Pit before. I've got two of their vehicles at the moment. I've got their short course truck and their buggy. And I've been really impressed with all of their vehicles so far.

[00:00:59]So when they said they'd build a Porsche, yeah, I just had to find out whether they'd done it again. And already just in the unboxing there's something about this vehicle [music] that has really surprised me. And no, it wasn't the Porsche body, but yeah, more on that in a minute. [music] So it's actually quite ironic. I went for the AR almost ready to run version because I've got so many projects going on at the moment, I didn't have time to do another build.

[00:01:22]And it looks like I've actually still ended up with having another build to do. Oh, one more thing. We've got the electronics. As you can see, this car is actually a roller or an almost ready to run. So I've got some spectrum electronics that I'm going to fit in there. I will see you guys in a minute.

[00:02:01]This thing is nice and it's so massive.

[00:02:05]Here it is lined up against the big rock and then against the Spark.

[00:02:11]And the thing that surprised me most about this car is the ride height.

[00:02:16]From the ground up this thing has been designed with rallying in mind.

[00:02:20]>> [music] >> It's not just a touring car with a rally body stuck on the top. This is a true rally car and look at the quality of the metal used on the shock towers and the chassis. They are all built for the [music] rigors of hard driving. The dual bracing in the center of the chassis is just purposeful reinforcement which just adds to the rigidity and gives the stability that's needed when running off-road. And in a few minutes we are going to test this beast. [music] Balance is key when cornering. Placing a battery tray on each side of the chassis just improves [music] the stability and the handling. And the more I look at the inside of this Porsche the more I'm convinced that KK Pit haven't just built a Porsche with rally tires on it. They have in fact just built a whole rally chassis and stuck a gorgeous Porsche body on top of it.

[00:03:08]And that front bumper looks a bit odd cuz it's raised off the ground. But even that is purposeful [music] cuz it's just going to give you additional ground clearance when you're driving over rough terrain.

[00:03:18]So all that's left to do now is to drive this thing.

[00:03:23]Taking it super easy first of all.

[00:03:27]Cuz this is one pretty looking RC.

[00:03:35]Is it twitchy or is it me?

[00:03:41]The surface is quite smooth but it feels like it's a little bit too slippery, a little bit too slidy.

[00:03:50]And I don't know if it's the wheels or maybe it's the gyro or if it's just me.

[00:04:33]I came into today expecting a road car, but I'm leaving convinced KK Pit have built something very different. With these tires, it doesn't feel like a touring car. No, it feels more like a more like a drift car.

[00:04:47]But, next time I'm going to change the tires and find out whether there's a genuine rally chassis hiding underneath.
