Politicians often adjust their policy positions based on electoral considerations rather than consistent ideological principles, as demonstrated by Andy Burnham's multiple policy reversals during his mayoral campaign, including changes on council tax, women's toilets, and tax policy, which critics argue reveals a lack of genuine conviction and strategic prioritization of electoral success over ideological consistency.

The New U-Turn KING Andy BurnhamAdded:
Nate, should we check in with no stern and burner?
>> [snorts] >> Should we check in with big old fat man [clears throat] boob [ __ ] Andy Burnham?
Man boob Burnham.
King Andy the first.
King of the north.
E King to north.
To north.
[ __ ] weirdo dirty pinko piece of [ __ ] Andy Burnham.
Oh.
And all the things he's flip-flopped on.
He's actually in a little bit of a tight spot politically, isn't he really?
Mhm.
>> He's trying to win this is the overall the overarching angle. Is he's trying to win a by-election in a largely white largely working class northern Brexit voting reform adjacent area as a socialist as a pro EU socialist really.
People that have been taxed to oblivion.
One of the one of the latest things is some of his ideas about taxes would increase tax for millions. I mean here's an article. There you go. Millions of families could face soaring bills as Andy Burnham vows to overhaul council tax in labor lurch to left. He doesn't know where he's what he's doing whether he's lurching to the left or whether he's lurching to the right. Lurching to the left to please the people in the party but trying to stay as right as possible within his paradigm anyway to try and win the by-election.
It's a bit of a balancing act to be perfectly honest. He's got to lie by omission and prevaricate and spin to his heart's content to try and win this one.
So.
>> It's mental.
Yeah, so I'm just reading part of this article. It's mental what I'll wait. He You know, go on. Go on.
Well, he's talking about you know, council taxes is oh it's it's not it's regressive. It's not justifiable. Levies were kept down based on old valuations.
Mate, everything in this country's [ __ ] way too much money. Mhm. We're becoming the third world, but you want to charge first world prices. You [ __ ] mental, you clown.
Yeah. What do you think?
You [ __ ] [ __ ] We've got some of the highest tax rates in the world, don't we?
Mhm.
In the whole world. We're we're we're being taxed at a higher rate than ever in our history.
Mhm. Ever.
Yeah. Even across the Second World War, it pales pales in well, this pales in comparison to that.
Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Love it.
Love it.
And it's still not enough for the socialists. You got to squeeze the kulaks until the pips go squeak.
Don't tell me you haven't got more money, kulak.
Yells to the political elite.
Mhm. The leftist political elite.
Yeah, so if you scroll down a bit there, you'll see at least one graph where it shows you some of the There you go, that one. That one. Look. They're just changing the way to you know, even just tweaking what seems like a relatively mild tweak. [ __ ] over six grand a year, you want people to you want people to pay over six grand a year for council tax. What the [ __ ] are they getting for that, you clown?
What are they getting for it?
Yeah. My local council put on a [ __ ] pride parade with my money. I was fuming.
Fuming. I was absolutely furious. They put the money up and then they still decided to put on a pride parade. Sorry.
Are we we're are we are we in a cost of living crisis or not? It's one of the two. Don't spend my money on frivolous dog [ __ ] you clown.
All right.
Yeah. So, there you go. You can see those red and blue lines there. Right down the bottom left.
Bottom left corner, you can see how some people the poorest people get to pay it and a bit less.
Mhm. And everyone else has to pay quite a lot more.
But you know what's funny about this?
Well, it's not funny, actually. Go on.
Every single policy that the government implement create a scenario in which scarcity of housing pumps up the value of the housing and thus pushes people into higher tax brackets based on their current valuations and what they're looking to implement in future. It's just It's literally just stealth taxing people by immigration.
Great.
Great. Love that.
What? We we will force your house to be more valuable. Oh, oh, good. Good. Good.
What will I get for it? Nothing. You'll get taxed to oblivion.
Yeah.
Great. Oh, and you have to be surrounded by Bermalians as well.
For the pleasure. Great.
Great.
Yeah. And into the bargain is your daughters and sisters and wives and mothers aren't safe now.
Yeah, [ __ ] this country. [ __ ] this country. Well, and you and you quite possibly.
Cuz you could be walking down the road, walking your dog.
Boom. Afghan comes, stabs you to death for no reason.
His name was Wayne Broadhurst, Robert Jenrick.
His name was Wayne Broadhurst.
All right.
Just some of the other flip-flops that the [clears throat] tightrope the weird political tightrope Bernhams having to try to walk.
We're told that he he shifted his previous calls for trans women to be able to use women's toilets saying that new government guidance that only came out yesterday should be implemented.
So, you know, he's obviously realized that didn't seem to go down well now that he's in favor of transvestite men going into women's toilets. That's now old hat. That's a bit out of date.
That's not most expedient for him politically. So, he's just So, he's just changed his mind on that. Did you ever have an opinion on it for real? Did he ever have an actual conviction of his own on it ever? I doubt it.
I see. He really is an NPC. So, we said that in the Yeah, he is. So, we're we're recording this on the 22nd, Friday the 22nd, and the video has actually just come out where we were discussing his stance on, you know, not understanding what woman is.
And in that I said just what an absolute nothing person he is. It just goes along with whatever left status quo is at this point in time. So, you you you don't have any opinions. You don't have any stance.
You don't have a brain. You're just a puppet for left-wing ideology and whatever way it blows in the wind. Yeah.
A truly dangerous person, actually, on that basis.
Cuz one, no one will know what you actually believe, and two, you don't really believe in anything anyway.
And so, you'll just go with whatever the current left status quo is. That's dangerous. It is. Yeah, quite right. I think the criticism calling someone an NPC gets thrown around a bit too much. I feel like Andy Burnham really is, though.
Mhm. A non-player character, yeah. Just just a nothing man. He's got no stirnum, no stirnum burnum.
Yeah.
He said he said the new government guidelines on women's toilets it should be implemented, albeit, quote, in the fairest and most compassionate way possible. What are you talking about, bro?
Compassionate to who? Look, do you want women to be safe or not?
We're talking about compassion.
We're talking about what? Compassion for the the transvestites? No?
No.
Just let biological women have their own toilets, you nutter.
[ __ ] me.
He also said he's committed to stand by Labour's 2024 manifesto, which ruled out rises in income tax, national insurance, and VAT, despite saying in the past that he wanted to increase the top rate of tax. So, so just flip-flopped on that. Realized he's running in a working-class area.
So, that doesn't go down well. So, like he's just top rate of tax. So, or increasing tax at all. So, just just change that.
Just change his opinion on that.
>> Fascinating. Truly fascinating watching Labour realize that they have no constituency anymore, right?
So, when Labour was obviously implemented, you know, they ostensibly were, you know, a party of working-class people, generally. I guess, you know, arguments could be made, whatever.
But, they were at at one point.
And as they've slowly gone more and more radical, sort of socialist, the global homo, I mean, it's it's not it's socialist, but it's also not. It's you they don't have a constituency anymore. Like, who do you appeal to? Who are your voter base? Who is it that you're supposed to represent? You know, he he's supposed to be king of the north, right? And and and he's doing all this nonsense of walking around going, "Yeah, I I just support football. Yeah, I do this, and yeah, I do that, and yeah, I'm just normal. I'm just like you, mate.
I'm just a normal person." It's like, actually, you're a [ __ ] mental communist. You're a mental socialist bastard.
Mhm. You have got about as much in common with the average uh you know, Makerfield homeowner uh family as I do [ __ ] I don't know the the the king of Abu Dhabi.
Right? It They're just It's worlds apart, mate. Ideolo- ideologically worlds apart.
Uh you know, you're a champagne socialist global homo scumbag.
You don't have a constituency anymore.
Mhm. But it is so funny watching these people realize in real time they're like scrabbling around. And that's why you see them lurch to the left and to the right and to the left and to the right.
They're like, "Fuck.
Where do we go?"
Especially and and and this is by their own making, you know, they they keep trying to put people in as centrist sort of, you know, constituency, right? To say, "No, no, center politics is the right politics.
We need to be Even though they're way to the left, you know, you need to be to to the center." It's like, "Yes, but you've implemented radical left-wing politics, and so you've made what is actually, generally speaking, a very right-wing country, if you actually, you know, look into their belief systems, and you push them to radical right now.
You [ __ ] it. Mhm. You've destroyed it.
I mean, good. I'm here for it. But it's funny. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah, all right. It's interesting watching him squirm around, flail around for what they think the voters going to want to hear.
Yeah.
And all the while it just reveals the fact that he's got the actual integrity of a a bubble.
Mhm.
There's nothing there.
Thin thin sauce.
Well, that's why you see stuff like this.
I've indicated broad support for what the home secretary's trying to do, but I do think care needs to be taken.
It's like, "Right.
So, you either believe in or you don't.
You either want to be, you know, sort of altruistic and and caring and compassionate of Somalians and Bamalians third world rapist murderers, or you want them exited from the country and you want borders tight. It's one of the two, mate.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I saw one funny meme bolted down on Twitter. Just bolted down. On one side there's a picture of Burnham saying, "I think uh men should be allowed in women's toilets." And on the other side it's the Restore Candidate saying, "Death for pedos and uh and to deport them all."
You know, to deport all the uh all the foreigners.
It's like, "Yeah."
Yeah. It's quite It's funny. Uh in his article he had a quick uh point. Hm. He He said he would keep Rachel Reeves' fiscal rules. So, it's funny. I thought he was going to profoundly shake up Westminster and Whitehall, no?
And he played down his comments last year dismissing the bond markets, which spooked investors. Again, this crazy thing that some leftist has. It's very easy to do when you're not in power or not even looking at them.
You can just say whatever you want. I remember Tony Blair saying that. He said, "The dynamic is so different when when you're in opposition to when you're in power. When you're in opposition, you can sort of say anything."
in a way. You can promise the earth.
You can criticize So easy to criticize.
But when you're in power or trying gen- like legitimately, realistically trying to get power, you have to start playing with the real world, with reality, with human psychology, [clears throat] then it's much much much much harder.
So, when he was just merely the mayor of Manchester and wasn't trying to become an MP or the leader of the party or the country, he could just say, "Oh, those evil bond markets." Some leftist leftist fantasy that like bond markets are like conscious and [snorts] they're and they're evil and they're deliberately trying to screw over poor people and stuff. No. No, that's mad. That's not how that works at all. So, Andy Burnham would say that [ __ ] but now he's got to reverse himself on and that because he's actually looking at potentially even getting into a position of power.
He reinstated his support for scrapping inheritance tax in favor of a social care levy, which is weird. In the rest of this article, I went on to read it. I was like, wait.
They're two different things.
Inheritance tax and some sort of some sort of tax on social care.
Why are you conflating the two, making out that they're one and the same? It's just It's just bollocks, isn't it? It's incoherent bollocks.
He also altered his position again on the Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood's immigration crackdown, this time echoing left-wing calls for a rethink to retrospective retrospective rules on on immigration.
So, utterly flip-flopping around within actually a relatively tight frame, but flip-flopping around whether whether he's talking to someone who's more right-leaning or someone who's more left-leaning.
Again, the integrity of a bubble.
No No real conviction.
Just in what an MPC stumbling around from in human encounter to human encounter, from conversation to conversation, trying to say what he thinks is best for his position at any given moment. [ __ ] Just a [ __ ] politician.
It's what he always was.
In the Blair years and Brown years, he was barely B-team.
Why that Why anyone thinks in Labour or or in Reform what they think that he's some sort of dangerous political force. No. No.
Some sort of towering intellect, some sort of master of policy. No. Not at all.
And the last one here, it says, uh he insisted electoral reform should be in Labour's next manifesto, but declined to say what system he would favor. So, just Again, just bollocks, isn't it?
Just empty words.
And just hope there's enough Labour faithful out there in Makerfield to select him so he continue so he can continue with his vanity project of trying to gain power.
This is a scumbag.
This is a total scumbag of a man.
