Membrane sweep and induction which is more painful

[00:00:00]I was happily going for my antenatal visit, knowing what was waiting for me in the hospital. The next day, after checking my vitals and my BP, my doctor said he has to perform membrane sweep on me in order to initiate labor. First, I refused, then he had to explain the reason why he had to do so. But my friends, membrane sweep is very painful.

[00:00:18]After the sweep, he asked me to go home and take a long walk, which I did. When I got home, I took a long walk that night. I walked for about 3,000 steps.

[00:00:27]Guess what? Labor did not come. I am at 37 weeks here. Doctor said we have to bring baby out before 38 weeks. So, I have to do what I have to do to go into labor naturally. If not, I will be induced. You all know that after membrane sweep, the next option is induction. That is if membrane sweep fails to make you go into labor naturally. The next day, I had to bounce on this ball for very long time in order to open my pelvis. I did a lot of walks.
