[00:00:12]Donald Trump sat down and was asked a question about a hypothetical scenario in which Oman and Iran had joint control over the Strait of Hormuz.

Donald Trump threatened to blow up our maybe you could possibly say our oldest ally in the Gulf region. Oman, I you not. Nobody is safe. Let's roll THE CLIP. WHY AM I saying it like I'm not live? This is not a pre-recorded video. This is a live stream. But whatever. We we in this [ __ ] >> Mr. President, Iran wants control of the straight over Moose. Would you accept a short-term deal that allows Iran and Oman to control the strait? And would they have to open it immediately or would you be open to that happening over a period of time?

And how I know this is because I'm going to lay out a timeline for you of America's history with Iran.

Oman was the first Gulf Arab state to recognize us as a nation and one of the first Gulf Arab states to actually sign a treaty involving, you know, safe commerce, um, allowing us to utilize their ports, giving us good port duties and so on so forth, recognizing our, uh, our merkantile, is it mercantile ships, if I'm saying that correctly. Oman was one of the first Gulf Arab states to recognize us and the first to actually sign a binding agreement with the United States of America. That's how far back this relationship goes, folks. Just to give you some context on how disrespectful Donald Trump is. I just I JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW THAT, CHAT. I just wanted you so you ain't riding blind. I wanted you to know how disrespectful this [ __ ] is. People talk about, "Oh, my day ones, my Donald Trump is the type of [ __ ] to shove his day one down a flight of steps." That's the type of [ __ ] Trump is. How do we know that? He tried to kill Mike Pence.

They allowed us to set up bases and use our uh military forces in the region to project our strength. They allowed us to position our forces at their ports. Why do you think Iran spent so much time blowing up ports in Oman? Why do you think that?

They accidentally crossed into the border of Iran and were apprehended by Iranian uh uh law enforcement. You can imagine what happened. They weren't allowed to go home. Guess who stepped up to dipl uh to to diplomat to engage in diplomacy. Guess who showed up to engage in diplomatic talks with Iran to facilitate the return of three three of our citizens? Oman. Oman did.

But like Oman is the DJ Khaled of like Oman I know Khaled is Palestinian and not Omani, but the point still stands. Oman is the DJ Khaled of politics. Like their job is to like be friends with everybody and talk to everybody and facilitate peace with everybody. That's their signature move.

We're willing to stop the fighting if you guys can bring us a deal, a comprehensive deal that makes sense." Donald Trump threatens to blow them up over trying to come up with a deal that stops the fighting. The reality is it's getting to a point where Iran charging a $2 million toll for uh gas coming through the [ __ ] straight might be a preferable deal to what's going on right now. Is that what we want? No. But is it better than World War II? Yes. Is it better than [ __ ] Is it better than uh this this this oil crisis that's going on right now? This energy crisis? this fuel shortage. Yes, Donald Trump does not have options. It's quite interesting and fitting that Frontline PBS opened their new documentary on the Iran War first starting off with the humiliation of of Vladimir Zilinski. Why is that so pertinent and important? Donald Trump, what did he say to Vladimir Zalinski?

And that's the reason why any outcome that doesn't make him look like the greatest of all time is an outcome he can't accept. I pray all of it succeeds. The American people need to feel the absurdity of Donald Trump's leadership.
