The utter devastation state of British politics.

[00:00:00]When you see where we are in British politics, you see Nigel Farage you talk about Rupert Lowe and Reform. Where Where do you What do you make of where British politics is at the moment? And particularly in relation to to US politics. Do you see US politics >> Devastation. Why do you think devastation?

[00:00:11]>> Utter devastation. Since the Corbyn ouster, uh it was very clear that Labour was headed down a very dangerous path going back to Blairite versions of the party if not uh if not far worse uh right-wing element in the party overtaking the the entirety of Labour. And um one of the warnings that I delivered on the night of the election after Keir Starmer won was that if the Labour government continues down the line of austerity and refuses to address some of the economic hardship that people are experiencing that has caused a lot of the former Labour strongholds to turn into areas captive first to Tories and now even uh Reform. I was worried that uh far-right elements were going to overtake British uh British politics and and they certainly did.
