[00:00:00]We found the oldest known galaxy yet. In 2023, the James Webb Space Telescope identified galaxies forming just a few hundred million years after the Big Bang. One candidate among the earliest appears in redshift suggesting it existed when the universe was less than 400 million years old. That's astonishingly early.
