This Museum Has Something From Every State in Nigeria🇳🇬

[00:00:00]Nigeria has 36 states including the federal capital territory and with over 250 ethnic groups, it will be such an opportunity to hear history from different parts of Nigeria in one place.

[00:00:14]And so today, my friends, I am taking you inside the Unity Museum here in Ibadon or your state Nigeria where we get to see and learn things from different parts of Nigeria. Trust me when I say there is something for everybody. If you're looking for a part of Nigeria that is not popularly told everywhere, this video has something from that particular state. [00:00:48]So as I told you earlier that you are in national museum of unity. Unity Museum means you are going to see object across Nigeria. So the first gallery is named ancient culture gallery where you are going to have the first object here called North Terra.

So if the person that carry it could be able to pass through those orus and come back and drop this thing successfully or rejoice or celebrate, they will celebrate the person. But in for instance the person carry it could not be able to finish the orders >> for that period is telling them that something bad will happen in that next coming year.

[00:13:17]So they now prepare and do the sacrifice the ritual supposed to correct that so that masquerade section so from land. So call their own masquerade.

[00:13:30]This kind of mas they call it that's common name for so but this particular so female and male masquerade they have multicolor clo they don't harm you they don't fight you they just come to your party your occasion and dance with you they will dance with you rejoice with you you give them They hold your hand, they dance with you and they will rejoice with you.

[00:14:06]Another masquer called ako from Eboland is a multicolor cloth wooden and one at burial ceremony. This masquer initiate they used to initiate people to their court group and if any one of them die this masquer must go and pay last respect to the one of the members that die. Why this one is another mush from land during the farmer they do put light on it and you be dancing dancing rejoice with people because they plant their crop and the come out and it's time for them to take it to the market for sale. So we do come out this is the masquerade from north part of Nigeria northern part of Nigeria. This is another mas from south west Nigeria or your town. So they call it market if there's no sales in the market. This is the kind of mas they call to come and pray for them.

That's the belief because our mother used to in the kitchen in the kitchen. So this is the kind of ste they use infu.
