The creator successfully translates the clinical rigor of exposure therapy into a digestible narrative of personal resilience. It serves as a grounded reminder that social confidence is not an innate gift, but a muscle built through the friction of real-world interaction.

[music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Boys, we finished the video, boys.
There's the trolley.
But I don't know why, but I couldn't get I couldn't dance. I don't have a camera man.
And it's so hard to get over the fear.
But I've just going in front of people and it was so goofy cuz there was no music this time either. Bro, as soon as I did I was like, bro, this I was really tripping over this. And I just missed the trolley cuz I'm a dummy.
I mean the good news is it's not really anybody here.
So I guess that's good news.
>> [music] >> I don't really understand the whole going out thing.
I don't really go out.
Seems really weird to me.
I'm going to go eat right there. I have Oh my god, that looks good.
Oh, that's spicy, too.
And I didn't wash my hands.
I might get I don't know if you can say that on YouTube.
>> [sighs] >> Well, I need friends that that want the same thing as me, you know. I always heard you should have one friend.
That got me, like I could bounce off his energy, he could bounce off mine.
But I'm hoping I'm hoping that by going out maybe I'll meet that friend.
Or better yet I get a girlfriend.
No.
Oh.
You never know.
>> [music] >> You know, when I was in high school, I was just kind of you know, it was [music] mostly just sports.
Sports and video games and I mean, a girl, one girl, [music] and then yeah, that was it. It's pretty much my high school experience wrapped up in 20 seconds.
So, I don't know what the whole going out thing [music] is. It's kind of new to me. It just feels weird. I think it's probably cuz I don't really have anyone with me.
If I had like a friend, it would be different, but like it's kind of weird just going [music] out by yourself. It's It's kind of nice though.
There's nobody really like bothering you, [music] and then if you want, you can talk to someone.
So, like and it's not weird. You just just talk to whoever you want. And they're pretty cool, you know.
Like you don't I don't want to talk to someone [music] that doesn't want to be talked to.
I think a lot of people, especially now, a lot of people just don't want to be talked to. [music] But the people that are out there like like the people that are were out [music] there that night, like they're very social, so they do want to be talked to though. So, I don't know.
I don't know. It's really just like uh I'm off the leash kind of thing.
It's also really pretty [music] at night.
And there's probably a lot of murders, but I was very, [music] very shy when I was younger. Man, this place is really cool at night. I'm not [music] going to lie.
Look at it.
Ain't [music] that pretty?
And I'm still pretty shy. It's just that I feel like you don't get the version of me that I really am when you first meet me. And I don't know why. [music] I just can't I can't be myself if I don't know you. I don't know why.
Okay, you got to clap. We're trying to get more people here.
No, I think I'm gotten a little better at it, but you're definitely not talking to the real me if you just [music] met me.
I don't know why. I wish you could you could talk to the real me, but you just can't. I don't know [music] why.
I just I just can't be me when you're new when you're a new person.
I think that's that's what makes it [music] harder to like I don't know.
I just need I don't know.
I don't need this.
I don't I don't know.
I just I need I need work on it, you know? And I think going out going out's definitely [music] going to make me more social.
Especially like it's the like working at a job made me so much more social, but it's [music] 10 times different like being social when you're at the job cuz you're like the questions you ask make you be social and you're asking >> [music] >> you're being social because of the prompts you have to ask. Like, "Hey, did you find everything okay?" And then that [music] strikes up a conversation into something else and then you know, but like how do you start a conversation [music] randomly with nobody? Like am I like, "Hey, your toes are cute." if they have sandals on or something? I don't know.
Maybe? Is that rizz? I don't know.
I really don't know. I think going out's really going to make me it's going to make me uh really work on that. So, I think that's a pretty cool part of that.
>> I'm sorry.
