[00:00:00]Hi, my name is Jake. I was involved in a self-defense incident [music] and I hired Mark Victor to represent me. Went out to the bar, had some drinks. The guy that was with me, another guy and him had >> [music] >> like exchanged some words, but they were just like joking back and forth with each other, I thought. As the guy started walking over, they were they were talking all kinds of trash. Next thing I [music] know, I'm in a fight with four guys. Couple weeks down the road, I get a phone call from a buddy saying [music] that Gilbert PD is looking for me. They called me in. They you know, told [music] me they were going to charge me with two class three felonies, aggravated assault. So, then I made the phone call. I had called Mark [music] and set up a time with him. I remember Mark stating that I was the victim and they should have been charged with [music] threatening and intimidating. The judge had agreed. Then the prosecutor came back with [music] an offer. Mark came to me with the offer and I'm like, I no, I don't feel comfortable with that. I said, I hired a good attorney. I'm going to stick [music] with my attorney. So, he went back to the prosecutor and said, no, no deal. Then they ended up just dropping it all. They ended up just [music] dropping it. Mark believed in me and that's that's that's a good thing when you got a good attorney and he believes in you.
