The US-Iran nuclear negotiations under the Trump administration demonstrate a diplomatic strategy where the US demands Iran abandon its nuclear program as a condition for any agreement, with Secretary of State Marco Rubio stating that President Trump would not accept a 'bad deal' and would pursue alternative solutions if negotiations failed. Iran's position involves stalling tactics, claiming peaceful nuclear intentions while continuing to develop its program, and threatening to withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty if the US resumes military strikes. The negotiations also involve Israel's concerns about Iran's nuclear material and the strategic importance of the Strait of Hormuz for global oil supplies.

GNITN Episode 1266 - No Bad Deal: Trump’s Ultimatum to IranAdded:
[music] [music] [music] >> Iran says it wants peace.
>> [clears throat] >> Excuse me. Trump says there'll be no bad deal, and Israel is watching the nuclear clock like the fuse is already lit.
Are these negotiations a path to peace or just another prophetic setup in the Middle East?
We'll break down Iran's stalling, Trump's warnings, and Israel's coming role in this edition of God's News in the News.
>> [music] [music] [music] >> Well, thank you for joining us once again for another edition of God's News in the News, current events, biblical perspective.
Let's go ahead and pray. Father, we thank you for this time together. I know it's been a while since we've discussed Israel and the what's going on in the Middle East there, but Father, I pray that this update will help us to be able to at least Christians to pray for the peace of Jerusalem like it says in Psalm 122:6, and pray specifically knowing what's going on with the United States and Iran and all their terrorist proxies and Israel.
It's not a It's not an easy issue. It's not one that can be solved. I don't believe can be solved with diplomacy.
But Father, you know how everything needs to turn out. You know the prophetic chessboard and all the pieces that are on it and how they mean how they mean how they need to be moved into place. I pray you do that. And I pray that we as Christians will support your plan in prayer. I pray in Jesus' name.
Amen.
But, before we get to all that, there are a couple things, actually five things, scrolling across the bottom of the screen there that I'd love for you to do. Like, share, and subscribe. Get notifications. Leave comments. That's what you need to do for the algorithms to work for us in the three places this is streaming to. You do those things and it'll help out. The other two things scrolling across the bottom there, for those you that watch on X, for those you that are doing that, you've already liked the profile, which is the G N I T N 58 profile.
And then go ahead and repost these videos to your profile. That's how it works on that platform. So, you do your part, I'll do my part, God will always do his part. And if we want this to work, we want to make God the social influencer. That means we're not building your your If I could talk, I'd be dangerous.
We're not building a your kingdom, my kingdom, but his kingdom. Man, it's been a while since I podcast.
Anyway, though, let's get into this.
What are we talking about here? Let me go ahead and switch that view there.
We are talking about this.
No bad deal. Trump's ultimatum to Iran.
Yep. Because that's what's been going on here. I can tell you that right there.
There's a whole ultimatum media. Do it.
You agree to to no no nuclear no nuclear weapons and all the other things that the United States are asking for.
And I'll just tell you that uh it's been some time since I've talked about that because, well, it's kind of redundant here. It's been a long time since I've done this. So, I haven't paid a lot of attention to the wars in Israel recently, and I want to check in on what is happening. You as well.
You see, in Bible prophecy, Israel's a very big deal, and one prophecy teacher refers to Israel as the super sign of the last days. And I agree with that sentiment, I advise anyone who wants to know where we're at in the lead up to the rapture and the tribulation, they need only look at what's happening with Israel in the Middle East, and then look at those Bible prophecies.
Uh the future events like the total destruction of Damascus, the war of Gog and Magog, and the Psalm 83 war are all being set up by current events we can read in the news sites all over social media.
You know, I give if you read and you'll see it. That being said, let's read more about the US Iran negotiations based on an article from The Epoch Times, where this guy off to my right, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, assures us that there will only be a good deal or no deal regardless of what anyone says.
Here's what he says.
He says that in the article though, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio Rubio said on May 25th, that's today, folks, that President Donald Trump will not accept a {quote} "bad deal" with Iran as the two sides continue to negotiate.
Rubio warned that unless the agreement is good for the United States, Trump will move to resolve the issue as he says, "another way", hinting at the possibility of renewed attacks.
Just what this other way is, we don't know for certain, but based on past comments from Trump and others, it's pretty black-and-white. Either Iran ends the nuclear ambitions or the regime will be annihilated. Those are your two choices, folks. For now, many see a deal getting done. That's when Rubio is going to say that. Rubio's remarks, made during a meeting briefing in India, came amid reports that an agreement to end the Iran standoff has been largely negotiated, with Trump saying that America's relationship with Iran was becoming much more professional and productive, but that care must be taken in the final stretch of talks to ensure the deal is done right.
Rubio went on to note that there is not a deadline for a deal.
The president said he's not in a hurry.
He's not going to make a bad deal, Rubio said. Let's see what happens. We're going to give diplomacy every chance to succeed before we explore the alternatives. We know what those are.
Now, while the nuclear while the nuclear issues at the top of the list, controlling shipping lanes in the Strait of Hormuz is also a concern.
While the terms of the agreement currently being hashed out, but the article says, remain nuclear, much of the talks have focused on Iran's nuclear program and on Tehran's restrictions in the Strait of Hormuz, which have sent prices of oil and other key commodities soaring.
Now, Trump himself, he says, it appears and then he is appears to be teasing an attack as seen in recent media posts.
So, if you read his social truth social account, he's going to well, I'll just read these things. Trump's latest signal on the status of the talks come in the form of a May 24th post on Truth Social, which featured an image of a bomb attacking attached to an airplane apparently ready to drop that bomb.
But then again, he also posted this. The president preceded the bomb post with a post insisting that the deal with Iran, if it is ultimately reached, would be a good and proper one, including blocking Iran's path to acquiring a nuclear weapon.
So, he's saying, and everybody wants this, this is not new, not going nuclear. Yep, that's what they want here.
Now, back to the main issue, and there's an agreement that Iran does not have any nuclear program whatsoever.
Back to the article, preventing Iran from getting nuclear arms has been a key objective of the Trump administration after bombing Iran's nuclear facilities in Operation Midnight Hammer last year.
That was June. The United States has pushed to secure and remove from the country any remaining enriched uranium presumed to have been hit by the blasts and entombed deep underground.
Israel's leader, Netanyahu, is perfectly clear on what that means.
It remains unclear whether the enriched uranium, which Trump has referred to as nuclear dust, would be part of the agreement that is currently being considered. While Trump has focused his rhetoric on preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, rather than on the uranium stockpile itself, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on May 24th that he considers eliminating Iran's nuclear danger as removing the enriched material from its territory. Not just they just completely they they they're not going to just say we're not going to use it. He says it's got to be taken away from them.
Now Iran seems to think we are clueless and accept their nuclear rhetoric. Iran says its uranium enrichment program is peaceful and that the country has no intention of using it to make nuclear weapons. I call shenanigans to that.
Tehran is {quote} ready to assure the world we do not seek nuclear weapons and does not desire regional instability.
An Iranian president Mahmoud Bezh Pezeshkian Pezeshkian, that's the guy off to my left there. He said on May 24th state state-run news outlet IRNA reported adding that Israel is a is a destabilizing force envisioning a greater envisioning a greater Israel. So he says that the basically Israel's in the way.
That's what they're always going to say.
And they have no intention of using their their their nuclear capacity.
Well, you know, if they're on the up and up, why don't they build it deep underground and inside mountains?
If they're trying to hide something. Hm.
Pezeshkian If I could say his name I'd be dangerous. Pezeshkian hints that they have no intention of turning over the nuclear material and wants discussions on that impasse to happen later.
What they're doing is stalling to have more time to rebuild their missile program. And that's if that if that's all and that is all they ever do.
Pezeshkian added that while Iran has no intention of acquiring nuclear weapons, it would not compromise on the dignity and honor of the country in talks with the United States. With IRNA further reporting that a memorandum of understanding on ending the war is being finalized between Tehran and Washington.
But that he says contentious issues, including Iran's nuclear program, are just are a matter are to be a matter of future rounds of talks.
It's always putting off more talks, more talks, more talks.
I'm telling you, I think they're wanting to push until 2028 whoops here. But you know what, let's go ahead and talk about the deal.
Going back to Marco Rubio here, Rubio Rubio insists that any agreement will be good will be a good one, although there are vocal critics seeing a redo of the Obama agreement. Rubio said during Monday's media briefing, he's in India, that no one has been more serious about the threat of a nuclear Iran than Trump, and that Americans should be confident that the deal, if ultimately reached, will be good. He says this, "We're We're either going to have a good agreement or we're going to have a deal with a another or we'll have to deal with it another way." Again, back to that language. Rubio said, and he said, "We prefer to have a good agreement." Well, guess what? All you're going to get from Iran is talks, talks, talks. "We'll agree if you stop hitting us, stop doing this, not don't don't let to anybody attack Hezbollah, stop stop hitting Hamas, all these things, and then we'll talk about the nuclear thing." No, no, no, no, no.
That All they're doing is just And And what they're doing while there is no attacks is they're real rebuilding their missile program. I I could tell you that right now. It doesn't take a rocket scientist Oh boy, that was a bad irony there.
It's not rocket science, and then maybe it is. According to Iran, there is no deal pending, and more talks are needed.
Read more stalling. Iranian Foreign Minister spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei or Baghaei, rather, if I could say these names, I'd be dangerous, too. Said on May 25th, that's today, that progress has been made on many issues, but that reaching a final deal could still take some time. Here's what he says. "At present, the focus on the negotiations is on ending the war, and at this stage, we are not discussing the details of the nuclear issue," Baghaei said. According to IRNA, dovetailing with Pevzner's remarks that the agreement currently being weighed does not cover the fate of Iran's enriched uranium.
I'm telling you, they're playing games.
But you got to know that.
This is what they do best.
They They They manipulate. And then, while you're watching over here, they're building bombs over there. So, it's like that's what they do.
He dictates the news from or he disputes the news that from that some that they agreed to the demands on anything. So, he disputes the fact that they have agreed with the US on anything.
It is fair to say that we have reached understandings on many issues, but whether this means an agreement is imminent is something no one can claim at this stage.
The financial ministers finance minister says that these negotiations could last into the fall, which makes sense since they are essentially waiting out Trump. The longer they can get for a deal, the closer Trump is to ending his term. But guy, like the article says, has previously said that the current talks are centered on a 14-point memorandum aimed at ending the conflict, lifting the US blockade, and easing sanctions to free frozen Iranian assets. He said the preliminary agreement could pave the way for follow-up You see this?
Could pave the way for follow-up negotiations within 30 to 60 days on Iran's nuclear activities and other points of contention. No. Give up the nuclear material now and all the other stuff, and then we'll talk about these other things. But then, they are skilled negotiators.
So, they're saying you agree to do all these other things, and then we'll talk about the nuclear stuff. All the while, they're trying to get so they can use it. I'm telling you that's what they do.
They then threatened that they would be totally uncooperative if attacks resume.
A senior advisor to Iran's supreme leader has said that if the United States resumes strikes against Iran, then Tehran could move to withdraw from the nuclear nonproliferation treaty or NPT.
If you enter the Persian Gulf, first of all, we will give a tough, painful, and unprecedented response. With what? I don't know they have left. And break the naval blockade, the advisor, Mohsen Rezaee, has was cited by Iranian state-run Press TV as saying during a May 24 ceremony commemorating those killed in the war.
Iran is defiant and prideful, which is par for the course for their approach to survival. And Razai said exactly that.
But more importantly, he says, "We may withdraw from the NPT. Do you know what will happen to you if we withdraw? So, don't commit suicide."
I They How many boats do they have? I mean, how many planes do they have left? Now, I agree they spent a lot of years putting stuff in that coastline. They we haven't seen They're They're all They've got whole cities built underneath there all for this eventuality. So, what needs to happen is in my mind, well, you know what I expect? Uh well, I expect fireworks and lots of them.
Will the US provide them? Ultimately, I see Israel providing the knockout punches to Iran and their terrorist proxies, and the US will set up those punches. That's what I see happening.
And that whole coastline there, they got a lot of firepower in there, but you know what? All it takes is a few of those uh bunker buster bombs, and they will collapse on top of them.
That's what needs to happen here.
No mercy. They won't show it to us. We shouldn't show it to them.
The only way an Iranian peace, any kind of Iranian stability will happen, when this current regime is no longer there.
They can be in other parts of the world, but they need to be pushing up daisies.
That's my take. You know what it is.
But I Yeah, what what we can all agree on is though it's off over here. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. They shall prosper for that love thee.
We're going to do that right now.
Father, we thank you for this time together. We know that these are perilous times. These are tense times. We know that in Israel, they haven't had a lot of room to breathe for even more than a week or so.
They're always looking at their apps and for warnings of incoming missiles.
That's all going to have to change. And for that to change, I believe that the people behind them, Iran and all the proxies, they have to be taken out piece by piece, soldier by soldier, weapon by weapon.
I pray that happens. It's setting up the what I believe is the aftermath of the Psalm 83 war where Israel will expand their territory, not because they want to have a larger territory, but they were the only ones that can go in there and demilitarize those areas. Every place there's a tunnel, every place there's hidden weapons, every place there are soldiers hiding out in in churches and hospitals, it all has to be rooted out and that's going to take time and Israel's going to have to be in charge and the people that are want peace in those areas, Father, they're going to be thankful.
You know, the Lebanese, they want Hezbollah out.
The people that are living in the in the Yemen, they want the Houthis out. And the people that are living near Gaza, there's an awful lot of Gazans that want Hamas out. That all of that needs to happen and wherever else these proxies are, they need to be rooted out and taken out and that I believe is going to be something Israel's going to be up to the task to do.
They may get hit hard. I believe they're all going to hit all these proxies. Iran and all the proxies are going to hit Israel all at one time with whatever they have left and it will cause a lot of damage, but Israel in their response, I believe, according to the Psalm 83 war, they will hit back even harder and they will they will definitely win this particular battle, but even though they'll be hit hard here initially.
That's what I see happening next and then of course this all sets up the war of Gog and Magog.
But Father, you're you're you're the one that's behind all these things. You're moving things. You're going to use all these things to bring Israel to its knees, not to its knees militarily, but to its knees spiritually and look at you as the Messiah, which they should have looked at before.
That's all going to be used. You're going to work it all out, Father. You're going to be able to use Israel and the United States to judge those who have done harsh and bad things to people, but you're also going to use this to humble Israel so that they will turn to their Messiah and they will see him see him as he is see you as as you are.
I pray all that happens in Jesus' name.
Amen. So, thank you for joining us once again for another edition of God's news in the news. Current events, biblical perspective. We'll see you next time.
