[00:00:25]I stand before you today on behalf of the elected representative of Myanmar Myanmar, carrying the voices of millions of our people who continue to endure profound suffering and the military operation.

[00:00:39]The theme, "Nurturing hope, securing peace, and ensuring justice for future generations" resonates profoundly with the ongoing struggle of Myanmar people.

[00:00:51]For us, these are not abstract ideals.

[00:00:55]They are urgent demands. I bring with me the voices of 3.6 million IDPs, 16.2 million people in need of humanitarian assistance, and thousands of civilians who have been killed.

[00:01:09]And over 50,000 political prisoners still in the prisons since the military coup.

[00:01:15]The people of Myanmar have been deprived of their fundamental rights and democratic voice.

[00:01:21]Despite these immense challenges, the people of Myanmar continue to demonstrate extraordinary resilient and encourage in their pursuit of democracy.

[00:01:32]Securing peace remain present challenge.

[00:01:36]Our nation is facing widespread oppressions, displacement, and human suffering.

[00:01:42]Communities have been devastated and millions are in urgent needs of protection and assistance.

[00:01:49]Sustainable peace cannot be achieved through force. It must be built upon dialogue, inclusion, and respect for the democratic will of the people.

[00:02:02]Accountability is equally essential, not only to address the suffering of today, but also to prevent the recurrence of such injustice for future generations.

[00:02:15]Dear colleague, I believe that honorable member of parliaments from around the world will not want to sit in the same room as those who staged an unconstitutional coup against their own people.

[00:02:30]We stand here today as the democratically elected representative of the people elected in 2020 election in which over 27.5 million people cast their votes.

[00:02:44]That demand has not expired. That demand has not been transferred. That was stolen.

[00:02:52]And yet, the people of Myanmar have not given up hope.

[00:02:57]The Steering Council for the emergence of the Federal Democratic Union stands as the powerful symbol of inclusive leaderships and cooperation among democratic forces and ethnic nationalities.

[00:03:10]Therefore, we called upon this esteemed assembly to reject the legitimacy of the military regime and its proxy parliament, no matter how it is repackaged.

[00:03:22]To reaffirm recognition of the CRPH as Myanmar's legitimate parliamentary representative, and to take decisive coordinated actions to end the ongoing violence against civilians.

[00:03:37]We respectfully urge this assembly to stand with us not only in words, but in meaningful actions.

[00:03:46]Let us walk together to ensure that hope is restored, peace is secure, and justice is delivered for Myanmar and for future generations. I thank you.
