The Most Valuable Statues in Our Collections追加:
All right, let's get on to topic number two. Topic number two, top three favorite statues in our collection right now. Uh, this was suggested uh by I don't know. Was it Eric? I don't know. Somebody suggested it. I can't remember who did.
>> It was you.
>> It was It was you.
>> No, no, it was somebody.
>> No, it was me, but it was through It was somebody in Facebook. Somebody in Facebook did that.
>> Oh, >> and so I want to give them a shout out.
Um, but anyway, uh, like, you know, there's been so much negativity with collecting right now and there's so many topics and blah blah blah. Let's talk about just something fun. And so we thought, yeah, let's let's, you know, let's let's go through and talk about our our pieces. And um, so, of course, Eric had a great idea. It's like, yeah, we probably should, no, it was Jeff.
Jeff said, hey, we should probably show the pictures of the items that we love.
And of course, this is there's a big giant asterric here that these could change in any given second or moment or minute of the day.
>> Well, Chris, did you see what I sent? If you go to a wrestling event, what does it say?
>> Card subject to change.
>> There you go.
>> And that's exactly true because that's exactly where we're at. But anyway, so I thought we could kind of go through and kind of go through are these are do you guys have these in any particular order or are they just Okay. All right.
I I have a favorite, but you know.
>> Okay.
>> Yes. I I I [clears throat] don't have a one, two, three, but I do have a favorite. So, there is a one.
>> So So, don't say your favorite. If you have a favorite, don't say your favorite until the third one.
>> Okay.
>> Okay.
>> Well, I mean, you you're going to pull them up, though.
>> I'm going to pull them up, but then you're you're going to say what it is, and then I'll put the picture.
>> I got you. All right.
>> Okay. All right. So, uh we're going to start with Eric. Eric, what is one of your top three statues in your collection right now?
>> All right. So, my collection is mainly in my family room here where my TV is.
And one I I did it based on like what I constantly stare at and what catches my eye.
>> Yeah.
>> Um and one we're not going in order, right? All right. So, uh one of those is the Penguin by Prime One.
>> Boom. Right there.
>> I don't know. When I was at Billy's, I think or maybe we were just talking through text message, we were saying the same thing. There's just something about that piece when you look at it, it just draws your eye. I don't know if it's the fur coat on it or >> what it is. Uh but >> good.
>> It's It's just so good. And there there's really great portraits and there's really great poseability. Like I've got mine shooting the umbrella gun.
Um you know, obviously yours has the umbrella. The penguins are great. The money is awesome. Um, I love I love mine because that that front piece of money I had signed by Jason Fabok and so I've got like a little signature on mine. So like it's just it's just such a great piece and I it's again it's an underutilized character and so I think this was really I think XM did the samurai one first, but this was the second one out of the gate >> and it's just it's everything you'd want for from a penguin.
>> This is one that I did not pre-order. I ordered this as soon as it came into stock and um cuz originally it wasn't on my radar like uh I think the Sideshow Penguin came out at the same time and he was you know kind of like that grimy look and then this one you know kind of has that clean gangster look and at the time I was like well I don't really want to I don't know if I want to have a penguin in the collection. I kind of wanted to have like you know um Scarecrow or Mr. Freeze but seems like nobody's ever making those in full scale. So, um, I was like, "All right, just for the hell of it, I'll order them and see how I feel. If I ever, you know, if I don't like them in the future, I thought, I thought it was going to be like one of those rotation pieces where I'll sell them in the future." And turns out it became one of my favorite pieces.
You know, I don't think I would ever get rid of them. So, >> that's awesome. I love to hear that. Um, all right, let's go to uh Billy. What's your first selection?
>> My first selection, I'm going to go with Batman Tactical Throne.
>> Boom. Right there.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Uh, again, you know, this wasn't on my radar. I mean, obviously it was. I mean, we see these things and we're like, "Oh, man, that's great." But just, you know, when we first saw it, the dimensions, I'm like, "Where am I going to put that thing?" You know? And I'm primarily a one-/ird collector, especially when it comes to comic pieces. But once I found where I could put it or where I would like to have it, you know, like you guys know, you've been into the house and where it is. And it's became like a a centerpiece, you know, and you know, I I opted for the back piece. And I know people were like, h, you know, you don't see it or whatever, but since you can actually go around it in the room, you do see it, you know, and it does add to the storytelling. I abs it it as one of my favorite parts of the statue was the back little back cave. I think it adds a lot. And um yeah, I mean the screens I mean I turn them on when people come over or if I'm in the room doing stuff I'll I'll put them on, but it doesn't bother me. I thought that when they were off it would bother me more than it actually does. It doesn't, you know, three different portraits. If you got the DX bonus, um and obviously I have him paired with Alfred. Uh it's just it's just an epic epic piece. And when you come into the room, it's the first thing you see. You know, your eyes immediately go to that. And then most people when they come in, they say that their eyes go to the second statue that we'll talk about. But yeah, um I remember when Eric came over and saw it for the first time, he was like, "Wow, this thing is really big." You know, it's definitely it's a coffee table.
>> It's definitely a coffee. It might be a three coffee table piece.
>> But um yeah, love it. Everything about it. Obviously, you guys know I'm big on the 2D stuff getting turned into 3D.
This was a cover from the great Gabriel Delato. So, yeah, it has a fat lock head. It has a Delato head and then it has this unmasked portrait. Like I said, if you got the DX bonus and yeah, it's just a great piece. Lot lot.
>> You originally um you originally just had like the smaller version.
>> I just had the I just had the uh the economy without the screens and that one's great too, you know, and didn't, you know, decide to upgrade like we do sometimes. So, yep. Absolutely love this piece.
>> That's awesome.
Uh, Jeff >> Constantine [clears throat] >> from Prime One.
>> Tell us why you love it.
>> Big fan of the character right from his introduction in Swamp Thing and then into his own title, Hellblazer. Some of the best British writers, some of the best artists on that series. I think they really captured his look, his attitude. Um, I love the angel of death behind him. Um, everything about it totally worked. It was pricey for a one quarter at the time, but I am so glad I got it. I think if I ever parted with it, it would be very difficult to replace.
>> And that's that's the one that they were going to do this in third scale and then they kind of scaled it back. Um, which do they even did they ever make the third scale or did they just cancel it?
>> No, >> they canceled it.
>> That's right.
>> And there's only >> because everybody wanted that.
>> Yeah. And I think there's only a couple of hundred of these. So, >> this is a BJO piece, right?
>> Yeah. You just don't see it come up.
People don't sell them.
>> Never.
>> No.
>> No. I don't You just don't see it in a lot of collections, period. So, I'm really glad you were able to get one.
>> Yeah. I love it. I think it's so cool.
>> Great piece.
Uh, well, my first one I'm also going to say is a BJO piece and that is the Burmejo.
Um, it's kind of a tossup. I was kind of going back and forth between this one and the See. I love the Say Cheese, but like this one I look at constantly like this one and you could see the art behind it. Um, and I it it just with him holding the bat. I just got that one in late 2025 here and I just this this piece still speaks to me. I love it. Um, >> I think it's better than say cheese.
>> What?
>> It's way better than say cheese.
>> And it's just, you know, it's it's I guess it's less comic booky compared to say cheese, but like this one is just so dark and gritty. I love that they're doing a quarter scale for collectors to be able to, you know, add this one to their collection if you're a quarter scale collector. But there's just something about it. The face portrait and just like again, it's just it's just nitty and gritty. I love it. Um, but yeah, this is I would say in my top three right now for sure.
>> Good choice.
>> I like his uh proximity piece behind them.
>> Yeah, thank you. The little uh the little BSC there. Yeah, [laughter] >> he's always >> just little.
>> That's right. I got the little playing card signed by Berjo down below. So, I always like to try to get a signature if I can.
>> Those playing cards came with the statue, right?
>> They did.
>> When I had it, I didn't have those playing cards. I think it only came with like the bonus or something, maybe.
Yeah, I think the the DX bonus came with the knife and with the cards.
>> I think that's right. Oh, yeah. I also got the I got the knife sign, too. I forgot about that. But that's on the Batman. I got the Batman the knife on that one sign. Um, all right. What's your number two, Eric?
>> All right. Same logic. I was going to pieces that catch my eye whether I'm watching something I'm supposed to be watching or during commercial break. Um, and that one's Scarecrow. And the reason I like this and the reason I >> Great photo by the way that looks insane with the shadows.
>> I know. The shadow is so cool. That's where I'm getting to. I I I feel like sometimes I probably stare at the stat uh the shadow more than I stare at [laughter] the statue. Something like I love the way it cast a shadow. I love playing with the different lighting. I have the color lighting in the corners.
So, I'm always like playing around with that. And yeah, I just I I do have like lighting coming from the sides. So I and yeah, I have to have lighting behind it.
So I have a lot of different lighting going on on those uh those pedestal pieces. So it's a lot it's a lot of fun.
You know, it's kind of like an interactive piece for me because I can play around with it and you know, adjust things and make it look different. Um also he looks great. A lot of times I don't really see him lit up. He has a lot of even though he's like a dull brownish color, he has really great shading. I know he's kind of cut off half the photo, but he's got really cool um you know, cool paint app on him, even though it's just like browns and stuff.
>> I feel like he's a super underrated piece, too, because he's just so creepy and gnarly, and the way he's kind of lunging forward. The base is fantastic.
>> Is so great with Robin.
>> So good with the purple. It's just there's it's just the art direction on this piece was fantastic.
>> Oh, yeah. And again, that that that shadow I don't know, something about I just love the way he cast the shadow on the wall.
>> Yeah, it's so creepy. It's really really well done. I love it. It's awesome.
Great pick for number two. Uh let's go to Billy. Number two, >> we're gonna go with LBS one-3 Hulk.
>> Boom.
I know Delaney likes this one, too.
>> It was close to being in my >> I bet I bet it would have been. Yep.
Absolutely.
>> I mean, there is Listen, I've been collecting statues for well over a decade. We're I I go back to like I think first statue might have been like 2013, 2014, something like that. even further than that. And we, you know, everybody watching this channel has had a bunch of statues. All you guys have had a bunch of statues. There is nothing like this thing. He is, it's enormous.
It's it's And when people come into the room, like you guys know, he's on the right hand side, right? When you walk in, you you just catch a glimpse of him from the corner of your eye, and it's like, my god, you know, that thing is huge. And I know Chris, you saw it for the first time at Jeff's house.
>> Yep.
>> And like you're taken aback by how I mean he's very simple, you know, he's only like what? One, two, three, four parts, right?
>> And you know, it's it's simple, you know? I mean, it's just Hulk. He's, you know, he's the big green guy in ripped up jeans, right? But I mean, he's it's it's massive. It's >> Well, it's it's crazy, too. Like I felt like it was even bigger in Jeff's room because Jeff's room's smaller.
>> So, you know, it's like it's like whoa.
Like, you know, if you look at the size of the room compared to how big he is.
>> So, Thor is a big massive.
>> Thor's a big Thor's base is massive. is a big piece. Now, if you look at Thor's arm in the photo, I mean, he's it's the the veinage on him, the abs, you know, the the shading that was done, you know, for the, you know, the way the muscles flow, the muscle bellies on the biceps.
Um, you know, all the torsos were great.
I opted for the modern rage, but um, you know, and then the storytelling base on this, you have all the different Hulks.
You have the Gamma explosion on the sides. Um, you got Grey Hulk somewhere, you know, Thunderbolt Ross is on there somewhere. You have, you know, the scene with the accident in the lab. I mean, and then you have like the little Gamma stuff, I guess, is on the uh ground.
Yeah. So, it's a simple base, but it works. And I got him and Thor on one 48 inch wide shelf.
>> It's big.
>> So, yeah, he's taking up most of it. I think he's like 24 inches wide or something like that.
>> Yeah.
>> Right. And um yeah, he's just I mean his foot's like the size of like a normal adult human foot.
>> Well, and his foot his fist is bigger than my fist. I remember just crazy.
>> Yes. The you know, and I I remember when I first got him, I took the uh foot the fist off the one-ird bane, the finch piece, >> and I kind of put them together. His fist was it was huge. It it was way bigger than that one. And that's a big piece. I remember when you put the t-shirt on him and it looked like a a humansized t-shirt fits him. It >> it was a Yeah, that was one of the all things archer. I put t-shirt on like it was like a you know adult medium or something like that. I mean it was a maybe it was a large but it was like a tight pit shirt.
>> Yeah, he's just it was just me.
>> The traps. I mean the the veins in the neck. I mean he's just he's just unbelievable. This thing is rad.
>> It's a great pick. Great pick. I also want to thank just for a second 105 people watching right now. Thank you guys for being here with us on a Wednesday night. Thank you. Hope you're enjoying the show. Hit the like button if you are.
>> Does anybody else have LBS Hulk? Guys in the chat, does anybody else love an LBS Hulk?
>> Yeah.
>> Would you guys ever consider the classic? Somebody I think it was just a bust. Somebody was selling just the bust of the classic.
>> It was It was the Jack Kirby one. It wasn't the um the other one. Yeah, it was the Yeah, I don't >> I like that one a lot.
>> I I like it. Um, you know, the the curvy brow always kind of like threw me threw me off a little bit.
>> I liked it better in the uh gray one, but I sort of looked better with Yeah.
>> Repeat T3 says, "I do. I have the torso only of the Kirby Hulk." There you go.
>> There he is. Yeah. I mean, I I like the Kirby look better in gray, but they were all great. All of them. The only thing I went I think I think the Kirby one, one hand was open, right? Like, you know, open. And then one was in a fist. And then the classic, they were both open.
Yeah.
>> You know what I'm saying? And then the Rage, they were both fist. I kind of like the two fist look.
>> I like them all if I had the room, but I don't have the room.
>> Yeah.
>> Damn. Yep. Absolutely.
>> Uh the scarecrow was the sideshow one.
Yes, that is correct.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Sorry.
>> Uh okay, Jeff, you're second.
>> Uh Red Sonia.
>> Oh, love this piece.
>> So good. Lots of good choices for this character. Um, I'm not a big fan of the first one Sideshow did, but the second one is probably as good as this one. So, I kind of had to choose between the second and the third. Um, I probably chose this one because I saw it in San Diego when it first came up before it went up for [snorts] pre-order. And I remember turning the quarter corner and just being blown away by it. And I've already told the story before, but I'll tell it again. My son was with me and at the time he was pretty young. And he shook his head and said, "Mom will never let you have that." [laughter] And so I actually did not order it because I thought he was right. And years later, I ended up picking it up because I just had to have it.
>> And she he snuck it into the sanctuary in cover of darkness >> kind of. Yeah. So, I still think it's probably the best quarter scale, Sonia.
I agree that the new Prime 1 one-ird is better, but it's one-third and it's absolutely huge.
>> I'm gonna take it I'm gonna take it one step further. I think it's one of Sideshow's best pieces they've ever done >> as a total package statue.
>> It's funny because it's one of those things where it also depends on um body types that you prefer on women. Some people think she has a bit of a, you know, she's a bit punchy in the in the tummy area.
>> Looks pretty good to me.
>> I personally think she's perfect, but >> yeah, perfect.
>> People prefer just a different body style. Um, I've often thought of picking up the second one as well because I think it is a fantastic piece, but I haven't gotten around to that yet.
>> Is that the one where she's like raged like this or is that the >> It's No, no, no. It's the snake base where she's cut through the snake.
>> Oh, yeah. That's a good one, too.
>> Yeah, it's really really beautiful. Um, so I might pick that up sometime. And I kind of wish Prime One would do the one-third scale. I wish they downscale it to one quarter someday. And I'd even be fine if they did a much more minimal base because there's so much blood >> blood. Yeah.
>> I just don't need that. To me, the focus is her. And uh I would love a paired down quarter scale of that of that piece.
>> I mean, that would be cool just to do a Sonia Shelf. I mean, that would be, you know, there's so many great pieces and they're all >> I think they're all really well done.
All of them.
>> Yeah.
>> That's awesome. Well, that's a great pick. I I've I've admired this piece. I It's one of my favorite slideshows ever done for sure. I love it.
Uh let's see. Is it my number two?
>> Yep.
>> My number two was mentioned earlier, but I'm going to go with the Bane.
>> It's a good one. I I still I just I stare at this one all the time and I especially like I have a light kind of on it and I just love the way the light hits him. Um this of course was inspired by the art of David Finch. I've got it signed by Finch there on the the little piece of wood. And then to make it even, you know, better, you know, to top it off with the new uh piece I got from Finch just recently. Um because I asked him, I said, you know, do do a torn mass vein like the Prime One piece. And he did a torn mass vein like the Prime One piece. And it's it's just fantastic. So to be able to have both of those, but this piece it it [clears throat] just has such great presence. I know Billy, you still have this one in your in your collection. I I can't remember, Eric, did you have this one or have it?
>> I I tried it. It wouldn't It was just way too big to fit in my cab.
>> Yeah. Um but it's just something about it. I love it. I don't even Sometimes I don't even remember that Batman's in the base, but it's just I just love it. I love how massive it is. Um, >> well, for me, I actually have him low so you can see Batman really well. So, >> and it's just I remember being in your room like how different that statue looks on the floor versus up above.
Yeah. And they're both they're both really great from the different angles.
Like that's they're just it's just totally different look. Um, but [clears throat] I just I love it. I think it's still a phenomenal statue and it's one of my pieces I can never imagine parting with for sure. All right, let's go to uh Eric's number one.
All right. It actually would be my number one statue because it's going to be my favorite character, which is uh Batman, the uh Detective 1000.
>> We see him in your shot.
>> Yep. I set up tonight's angle for that reason. Um yeah, that's my guy. That's my number one piece in the room. Again, piece I constantly stare at. And again, a piece I love messing around with the lighting.
I have like that dramatic lighting coming from pretty much all over the the bottom of the base. So, I have like three different angles. I have like a cool light hitting him on the right. I have a warm light hitting him on the left. So, it kind of creates like this weird effect. And uh yeah, I just love like even like the light just adds like all this different shadowing and brings out the sculpt. And yeah, it's just a really fun piece to look at.
>> It's fantastic. Obviously, that's been one [clears throat] of my favorites for a really long time.
>> And it just has such presence. Like you said, it just again like looking in the back of your room, the way you have the light on it. I love the way you have the art behind it. It just it all looks great.
Really awesome. And I can't remember.
Did you have that one, Billy?
>> Yes.
>> At one time, but you don't have it anymore.
>> I got it back.
>> Oh, you got it back. Okay. Have it again.
>> He's back. He's back. There's that. That seems to be a trend lately.
>> Stuff's coming back.
>> Getting stuff back. That's right.
>> Had to buy it twice.
>> Don't you think they'll downsize that one?
>> I can't imagine them not.
>> Yeah. I mean, >> I think they will.
>> I would I would love to see them maybe not do the dollhouse.
>> That was the biggest nitpick. I think if they could do something a little different with the base, I think it would >> I think they wouldn't I think they wouldn't include the smoke.
Yeah, I think that they would do something different with the baits and not include the Yeah.
>> No smoke. And I can tell you when I was looking to get him back, I actually um I was close to getting the blue one.
>> Oh, yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> And that's great. It's a great piece.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. So, one of the reasons I when I was trying to buy Billy's uh Batman vers >> I did the family opinion. My wife comes in the my room here and she's like, "You already have so many Batmans. You have uh you know the Alex Ross Batman over there. You have Batman over here.
There's a Batman on Saturday. She's like, "How many Batman's you going to have in this room?" I was like, "Well, you know, I probably sell one of them."
But then she was like, "Why don't you sell like, you know, the one right here?" I was like, "Hell no." This is like my favorite statue. [laughter] My wife still calls it the Marilyn Monroe Batman.
>> Oh, that's funny.
>> Which always cracks me up. Like, "Oh, it's Marilyn Monroe over there." Like, okay.
>> I like that.
>> I like it. Uh let's go over to Billy.
Which is your number one currently in your collection? I think it has something to do with a little bit of red.
>> That's right. We're going to go Iron Studios quarter scale Daredevil.
>> Boom.
>> Yeah. This is uh far and away my favorite statue. Um I I pray that there will never be a fire, but if something happened, I would grab it and then grab the kids and then go. I'd like to see you try to grab the Hulk if that was your favorite.
>> I might take the torso because it comes off. [laughter] You just run out with that. But >> battering ram.
>> Yeah, this is not a light statue. This this this thing is actually pretty heavy with that back wall that it has there.
Everything about this thing was done to perfection. He looks great, but that's just, you know, the beginning of it. You do have the wire in the batons. Um, you know, I like the, you know, the difference in the suit. You see like little, again, everybody knows I like straps and buckles and stuff. So, the the boots are a little bit, you know, they do have some wear on them. They're darker. There's like a shoulder piece right here where that is a little bit it breaks up all the red. You know what I'm saying? I mean, >> brown.
>> Yeah. A little bit of brown. So, Eric is painting my other Daredevil right now.
So, take a listen. where you just, you know, doing different tones to kind of break it up, you know, >> and the shading on this was great.
>> And then you get into the bass.
>> You have this stained glass church window behind it. And it, if you guys are, you know, Catholics and you go to church, you know, a lot of churches, that's that old school New York look.
And um I'm, you know, me and Eric pass churches every day. And I I always think Daredevil, born again, you know, while I'm sitting in traffic. the angels, the little gerbs. There's one on the other side, too, but you can't see him.
They're broken. They look like broken stone. You got the one in the front with the, you know, with the broken wing.
When my son first saw this, he goes, "Dad, it's broken." I was like, "No, man. It's supposed to be like that." You know, so they're damaged. Then you got like pillars that he's standing on. And, you know, most daredevil statues will have some kind of religious base to it, a church base or angel or something like that. So, here you have that. It actually looks like, you know, he might be in a church or so, you know, cuz he's actually in, you know, you know, or in front of it. Everything about this was done well. I would never sell it. Um, he doesn't come up a lot, and when he does, he's expensive. But yeah, far and away I feel even with the great Shadowlands piece, and that piece looks great in black and in red. I love the Sideshow piece. I have it. Uh, I have the PCS uh 1/3 which will be up for sale by the way once Eric is done with my other one. But um yeah, this is an amazing amazing statue and I absolutely loved it. What did he say? I love that. I hate critical mass, man. Sorry, Mark. So, but uh I'll will it to you if something ever happens to me. But um yeah, this is uh Yeah, >> it is phenomenal. It's awesome. Eric's doing a printed piece and it's just it's looking great. It's It's going to look great in my collection, too. So, >> it's nuts. It's so cool.
>> But yeah, this is my favorite statue right here. This is the one. Everything else could go. This is thing.
>> It's awesome. Great pick.
>> Thank you.
>> Uh, Mr. Delaney, your favorite in your collection?
>> Well, mine are all Mine are not in any particular order.
>> Okay. These are all just random then.
Okay.
>> Frank is the last one.
>> Boom.
>> Quarter scale. Frank.
>> Woohoo. I got him on a top shelf and he kind of lords over the entire room.
>> Very imposing.
>> That's a Mark Davis little guy.
>> That is >> Eric, right?
>> That's Mark Newman.
>> What did I say? Mark I'm sorry. Mark Davis. Mark Davis is a was an old Disney Imagineer. Sorry. That's Mark Newman.
Sorry, Mark.
>> So he did he did um he painted five of them himself and this is one of the five. He's his name is Blarp. Okay.
Blurp. Blurp.
>> Yeah, he likes to hang out with Frankenstein, but or Frankenstein's monster, I should say. But no, I love it. I think it's so cool. I love the the skull on the base and the the gravestone and the the light up feature and the lantern and he's just very imposing.
He's he's awesome.
>> It's funny that I h I I haven't seen the quarter scale, but I did see the the smaller scale one and it was massive.
So, I can't even imagine just, you know, how much presence he has in quarter scale.
>> He's a big fell. Yeah, the one fifth scale kind of looked like a a premium format.
>> It really did.
>> So, I'm thinking about buying the Sideshow Bride of Frankenstein to pair with him.
>> Oh, that'd be really nice.
>> Cool.
>> And there weren't many of these, right?
What? Like only 20 or something?
>> 20? Yeah. Yeah.
>> Isn't that cool? You're one of 20 people in the world to have one of these.
That's pretty neat.
>> It's pretty fun. Yeah, >> it's pretty fun.
Well, congratulations on your list. I guess we're down to mine. Um, so I was really kind of weighing in in my top piece and and we mentioned Tech 1000.
Uh, it's been a favorite of mine for a really long time and Eric had sent his photo in before mine. I'm like, you know what? Maybe maybe I need to really think about it since I I talk about the Tech 1000 a lot. So, I was looking at it and then I was looking at this one and this is the one I settled with.
>> Is it Spider-Man?
>> No. [laughter] Uh, it's the uh the LBS Batman. And again, I don't know if these are in any particular order either, and it could change by the day, but there's just something about this piece. I I love to look at it. I love the way it the lighting hits it. Um there's all the portraits are really good, and I love the flow of the bats. The base is really great with this with all the different villains. So, it's it's literally Batman surrounded by his villains, which is, you know, my thing. And so, I don't know. I just think it's an awesome piece.
absolutely love it.
>> I think it's awesome, too. If I was still doing one third, I'd seriously consider it.
>> Uh, I think it's awesome. And I was hoping that that LBS sweeter head thing worked out where they did it in one six had, you know. Yeah, >> I'm assuming that's never going to happen at this point.
>> Same.
>> I just can't can't imagine. But, um, the stuff that Jay's doing at LBS, I've I've just I've really been impressed with.
Um, you know, the stuff's not real dynamic, but I'm okay with that. Um, you know, [clears throat] like Billy's Wolverine, like there's some pieces that are a little bit more dynamic. Um, I'm getting the Joker and and he'll be right next to this guy. So, I am excited about that. But, I don't know, this guy just speaks to me and I just feel like he is a really good representation of what Batman should be and what he should look like.
>> Yeah.
>> Just very stoic. So, anyway, that's [clears throat] my pick. Thank you guys for putting those pictures together. I appreciate it.
>> So, if you scroll back in the chat, some people gave their top three.
>> Yes. How many people had LBS?
>> Let's see. I did I did highlight a few.
Let's see. [clears throat] Lane says, "I don't have a ton to choose from, but J&D Harley, Harley who laughs, and Hellbat 1/4." All All those are great.
>> Yeah. [clears throat] >> Top three. XM Studios Lobo, LBS Wolverine, LBS Hulk. Again, all great.
>> Nice.
I'm surprised some people haven't said like uh Ghost Rider. That always seems to be like a top, you know, one of everybody.
>> Yeah, [snorts] >> Magneto Iron Studios Hawkman. That's a great piece.
>> You know what I really like?
>> Iron Studios Hawkman is a great piece.
>> A great piece. I really like what Jem's doing with his uh display. He's doing that the whole light up shelf where like each piece lights up. Dude, that he he was on COC with us and you know he did his own video, but that Cyclops is awesome.
That that thing is insane.
>> It was just cool idea to see all the lightups all next to each other. Very cool.
>> He had hit me up about a month or so ago. He was asking if I would be willing to sell the Dark Knight on the lightning bolt >> because I [snorts] think he had that in mind, you know, to have that kind of as a centerpiece and have the light ups because it it does look awesome >> and something different.
>> Yeah, he found [clears throat] one. He finally found one and I'm like, I just I can't let mine go. I just I still really enjoy it. Um but man, yeah, all those pieces look fantastic. Um I I even hit him up. I said, "Do you you know, I obviously know how Billy feels." I was asking him about the LBS Spider-Man and what he thought if he still had it, and he does still have it. And he said, "I can't recommend it enough." And so it's [clears throat] just, you know, it's nice to talk to collectors and get their feedback and opinions.
>> Um we have it in person. It's the best Spider-Man. It's just a matter of you.
Can you fit it? That's it. It's It's not about how great it is, you know? I mean, you could legit get that Spider-Man and be done because you have all the villains on the back, you know? You got Mary Jane and Gwen on the front. I mean, like, when you get it all together, especially when you put the steeple part on it, you're going to be like, "Wow, this is this is something I I mean, it might be so good you might just put it on the top shelf. It's it's that good."
Well, it's I would consider it for sure.
I'm going to see how it how it works in the room. Um I'm I'm getting it tomorrow, but I think I'm going to do the live unboxing on Saturday. So, uh you know, if you guys want to tune in, I think I'll do it at my normal time, 700 p.m. Central Standard Time. So, >> see what I'm doing?
>> Co [clears throat] coach you through the uh the villains on the back because I had to rewind and pause Created HQ's uh video a bunch of times >> because it's got a booklet, but it's not instructional, you know, it just tells you where the, you know, what parts are there. So, >> yeah. So, anyway, looking forward to that. I hope it's a good time. Should be. Hopefully, it all comes together.
We'll see.
