While Mohan’s visual analysis makes ancient iconography accessible, it often prioritizes speculative storytelling over rigorous archaeological evidence. This approach serves more as a creative reimagining than a disciplined historical study.

Rama in Coma? Let’s Decode a Destroyed CarvingAdded:
Hey guys, we are on the top of the Bong Temple in Cambodia and I wanted to show you this lintil of the main chamber.
Now, can you tell me what's going on here? Take a good look. See if you can find out what is going on in this carving. Now, you might think it is impossible to decode what is shown in this carving because it's damaged very much. You can see that most of the figures have been disfigured, right? But what we're going to do is we're going to try and reconstruct the filling pieces.
Now, the first thing you want to see is that there is a giant figure in the center that seems to be lying down.
Immediately, I'm reminded of Lord Vishnum in the seated position. But we also have Lord Buddha in the seated position somewhere, right? We want to decode this further. But look at that giant figure sleeping. But around his body, you can see robes tied. And on top of that figure, you can see on the left, there's somebody crying with his hand on his cheek. And right next to him, it gets even more interesting because we can see a monkey. Not a human being. A monkey again looking very distressed.
But the monkey is shown with a crown.
Now we know that this story is mentioned in the ancient epic of Ramayana who is shown lying down and being tied with the ropes. It is Lord Rama himself. But why is everybody crying? Because Lord Rama has been knocked out cold. He is in a state of coma. People thought that he is completely gone into a state of coma. He will never come back. Which is why you see everybody crying. You can see a row of monkeys crying at the bottom. And you can see a row of monkeys crying at the top as well. But at the very top, you see something very interesting. You will see a monkey pointing up. And where is the monkey pointing to? It is pointing to a bow and arrow. You can only see a bow and arrow, but you don't see what's about the bow and arrow because it's been completely destroyed. But you can see a little bit of clouds there. Who is hiding in the clouds? It is a master warrior known as Indrajit. It is King Ravena's son hiding in the clouds and sending magic arrows putting Rama in a coma. So you see even though this carving has been destroyed a lot, we are still able to reconstruct this piece by piece. I will try to use AI and try to recreate the whole carving for you to see. Such a beautiful carving carved at the very top of the Bong Temple in Cambodia.
