When a government systematically weakens oversight institutions like the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPM), Integrity Commission, and Auditor General, it undermines the mechanisms designed to hold leaders accountable and protect public resources. This pattern of institutional weakening is not new but represents a recurring playbook used by colonial administrations and subsequent governments to consolidate power and benefit elites rather than the general population. True accountability requires not just oversight bodies but also active citizen participation, including church communities taking to the streets during crises rather than remaining passive.

have dominated the world, have used money to rule it, and have ruled it in their own interest. It looks at a world economic system that has no regard FOR THE POOR, THAT HAS NO REGARD FOR THE SMALL NATIONS, THAT HAS NO REGARD FOR THE POOR OF the small nations. And the policy is a dignified policy. It's not a violent policy. It's not a policy of guns.
It's a very honorable policy. But it is a very clear policy. IT IS A POLICY THAT CALLS THE POOR OF THE WORLD TO STAND TOGETHER, to stand firm together, to struggle together, to struggle for change, to struggle for justice, to struggle through organization, to struggle through will, to struggle through determination, to struggle to build a new kind of world in which your children and mine will walk with more dignity, with better housing, with better opportunity, with better prices with better response FROM THE WORLD MONETARY SYSTEM. THAT IS THE WORLD TO WHICH I CALL YOU. THAT IS THE WORLD FOR WHICH I STRUGGLE AND NO POWER WILL TURN ME BACK FROM THAT WORLD. And comrades, if you GO AND WALK WITH ME, IF you go and step with me, IF YOU GO AND MOVE WITH ME, we're moving as warriors. WE'RE MOVING IN DETERMINATION. WE'RE MOVING TO STRUGGLE. WE'RE MOVING TO CHANGE THAT WORLD. NO POWER WILL TURN US BACK.

This government has been doing everything it can to weaken and undermine the integrity commission which is an institution that I designed as minister of justice and brought the legislation to parliament to fight corruption in this country. I have said it before and I will tell you again.

Um, you know, so St. Katherine, I have to big up I have to big up S St. Katherine. I could start the program tonight from different angles, but I was saying to myself, how could I do this?
But don't worry, we have we have a way in which we're going to start it. And I want to intentionally start the program by mentioning ODPM.
Let us start with ODPM and what the prime minister said about ODP and then I'm going to have to address the prime minister. Listen to this ladies and gentlemen.
>> As the country prepares for the hurricane season which begins next week, Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holes is reemphasizing the need to strengthen ODPM to increase Jamaica's emergency response. At the same time, the Jamaica Defense Force is on track to get new equipment for search and rescue. The Prime Minister was speaking this week at a meeting of the National Disaster Risk Management Council. Details from Andrea Chisum. Blocked roads, logistical challenges, limited communication, and people who were hard to reach. some of the many hurdles Jamaica had to jump over following the devastation caused by hurricane Melissa. For Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holes, one of the first order of business is to improve the operations of ODPM. Commander Alvin Gale has already been appointed to head the agency. Steps have already been taken to streng to strengn ODPM including its organizational review, new hires, upgraded posts, staff welfare measures, and planned training.
But ODP must now become Jamaica's national resilience organization, able to help the country anticipate, withstand, respond to, recover from, and adopt to major shocks without collapsing essential services, public confidence, economic activity, or the machinery of government.
>> Dr. adds that the government is working to resolve issues within the organization while strengthening its partnership with the Jamaica Defense Force for logistics, engineering, and communication.
>> So, the government will be making some announcements in a few days from now about further investments into the logistics, transport, and operational capabilities of the JDF. At the same time, Jamaica has to improve its resilience to ensure that among other things, critical public buildings such as police and fire stations are still functional after a storm. Meanwhile, Hurricane Barl and Hurricane Melissa amplified weaknesses in the population.
For example, citizens without proper identification and no proof of land ownership.
>> Jamaica cannot continue as an informal society.
Informality hampers recovery. It hampers relief.
It hampers reconstruction.
This mentality that you can go and build anywhere, live anywhere, and somehow the state must know that you are there. When you don't want the state to know that you are there, then you say, "You didn't come to me."
Well, we didn't know you were there cuz it's not documented.
>> He added that a single national database would eliminate the need for persons to register for assistance. If there were just one unique registration number with your registration ID linked into a national database, there would be no need for this very laborious process where errors are made, duplications happen, slows down the process.
I just thought that this was a good opportunity to explain to the public why national identification is important.
>> Andrea Chisum, TVJ News.
Ladies and gentlemen, if you're just joining, please do like the live, share the live and um ensure that you are subscribing so that you can participate in the comments section. Mr. Prime Minister, it is Saturday. We had a fiery show last night. Um, it's the Lord's Sabbath, so I may rest myself a bit. But the fire is not necessarily identified in how loud an individual communicates, but the um strength behind the points and arguments that one would convey. And I'm pretty sure my perspective family would agree a agree with me that tonight we must have a very important conversation as to the mind games of this administration.
The prime minister ladies and gentlemen is coming out to tell us that he is strengthening ODPM or he is seeking to strengthen ODPM.
We soon get to the identification argument because I'm trying to understand what is the point of having a TRN and a national ID if those things don't matter.
Why do we refuse to use the TRN and the national ID other forms of formal identification? Why are we disregarding those forms of identic identification to to to to to push needs?
Who will benefit from needs?
YOU ALREADY HAVE tr people already have national IDs.
So what's this agenda about needs that is so important that even now you're still pushing needs?
But before we even get to that, who truly weakened OPM? Ladies and gentlemen, the prime minister is being conniving because he's talking about we have passport, we have driver's license, there are so many ways to identify our Jamaican people, yet they're still pushing this this this um needs argument.
The TRN as Shenica is putting in the chat. It is even a more unique form of identification.
But who weakened ODPM? Ladies and gentlemen, who truly weakened OPM?
Critics argued that moving the office of disaster preparedness and emergency management under the office of the prime minister increased political influence over what should be a largely technical and operational agency. some former disaster management officials. We've went over this conversation already and I won't allow the prime minister to make it seem as if he's doing all any good.
The former disaster management officials warned, they warned the prime minister h that it could blur the line between politics and emergency response. AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED WITH ADPM.
How many of our Jamaicans can say that they truly benefited from ADPM?
HOW MANY OF OUR JAMAICANS can truly say that odd pem was the odd pem that we we we we've grown to know that was always on the ball in preparing Jamaica for NATURAL DISASTERS. HOW MANY OF US saw the same ODPM that we knew about years ago?
The moment the prime minister moved ODPM to the office of the prime minister was the moment ODP became a weak organization. It lost its mandate.
And for the prime minister to come out and to make it seem as if they aren't the reasons why OPM is now a weak and lost agency. It is not only deceiving, ladies and gentlemen, but it is manipulation at its finest. And I make no apologies for my statements.
Opponents questioned charges in OPM's leadership and structure while the country was still responding to major disasters, arguing that continuity and institutional knowledge are especially important during recovery efforts.
Every minute the leadership are change because the prime minister's agenda is to put loyalists in the most important positions in this country to maximize control over Jamaica and its population.
Once the prime minister fill the important positions with loyalists to the Andrew Holes le administration that will increase his control over Jamaica and the functioning of this nation. Don't you recognize the agenda here? It is all about control.
The prime minister's agenda is for total control. And person may say, "Well, Perry, he's the prime minister. He already has total control." No, he does not.
And that is the reason why he's controlling specific agencies.
That's why he's meddling and micromanaging certain social institutions. That's why he has seized control of the JCF in such a very subtle way. A lot of persons don't see it. It is this administration that boasts about the highest figures in investment in our in our JCF, in our military, in our security forces.
These things, ladies and gentlemen, they are intentional.
It is an agenda to seize total control of Jamaica in every sense of the the the very notion and the only way this prime minister can set up himself to one day become president because that is the ultimate aim of Andrew Holles to become the first president of Jamaica.
This is a conversation we don't hear a lot.
Remember, you know, the agenda is to make Jamaica into this republic where we will have the president, a president with listen, the powers that the president would wield, ladies and gentlemen, that good evening, Tony and Organics, that is the aim of the prime minister. That is the long-term goal of the prime minister. That is where Andrew Wles wants to to be. He wants to become Jamaica's first president. And when he becomes president and Jamaica becomes a republic, there will be no stopping the Andrewless administration. There will be no stopping the JP.
But these are the conversations that we're having, but we're having them one in a once in a blue moon when he becomes president. That is where you will see the full playbook of Donald Trump happening in Jamaica and your person's talking about um the Donald Trump playbook. The prime minister is not using any Donald Trump playbook.
You cannot use the playbook of a president when you are not a president.
The playbook that the prime minister is using is the playbook from the British colonial government of our colonial past. We went over this time and time again. The playbook that this government is using is a playbook that was handed to them that they inherited from Sir Alexander Bustamanti.
The militarization of Jamaica is nothing new. We saw this through Sir Alexander Bustamanti when he used the policing that the British colonial government used and that same playbook went from Sir Alexander Bustamanti to Siaga. It went from Siaga them to Hugh Sher, Donald Sanga. The whole of them use the same playbook.
Even Bruce Golden used the playbook AND THE PLAYBOOK BACKFIRED ON Golding and he had to step down.
Am I making sense ladies and gentlemen?
Remember it was Sir Alexander Bustamanti that militarized Jamaica being the first prime minister of Jamaica bringing the raers dead or alive.
It was Siaga that said we will wipe our fingers in the blood of the comrade and put the X beside the bell.
The playbook is not a Donald Trump. This playbook existed long before Donald Trump. And if we are blind, we will not recognize it. This is one of the oldest playbook that our colonial masters used to keep our black forefathers in bondage and in captivity.
Seizing control of ADPM is a playbook by the forefathers of the Jamaica Labor Party.
Putting a loyalist as the CEO of Nara is a playbook by the four fathers of the Jamaica Labor Party. Militarization of Jamaica is nothing new.
It is a playbook by the forefathers of the Jamaica Labor Party.
The prime minister is looking to use those modular homes to create a community, another ghetto, another Tivoli Gardens. This playbook existed long before Angolless. He inherited the playbook and he is going by the playbook.
The prime MINISTER HAS BROUGHT NOTHING innovative over THE THREE TERMS. ALLOW ME TO SPEAK TONIGHT. I feel an inspiration here.
The playbook that the prime minister is operating by existed long before him.
The prime minister has brought nothing new to his third term.
He has brought nothing new to his administration.
He's only replicating what existed before because the Jamaica Labor Party is about total control.
Weakening the the the the Integrity Commission browse is a JLP playbook.
Weakening the Auditor General is a JLP playbook that existed long before Andrew Wes.
undermining the voices that should keep our leaders in check is a JLP playbook that existed long before Andrew Hles.
That's why they they will never hesitate to challenge the Supreme Court. That's why they will not hesitate to take the IC to court. THAT'S WHY THEY WILL NOT hesitate to condescendingly talk down to the auditor general as if she has not she does she doesn't have a right to stay on the backs of these criminals in government.
It's not a NEW TRICK. IT'S PASSED DOWN FROM PRIME MINISTER TO PRIME minister in the JP. Remember who funded the Jamaica Labor Party.
Please remember who funded the Jamaica Labor Party. It was our same colonial masters who handpicked Sir Alexander Buster Manti to advance the ideologies of capitalism to represent the voices of the oligarchs and the elites.
This is what the JLP is built upon. NRA will never benefit the poor of this country. I repeat, NRA will never benefit the poor of Jamaica. NRA IS A LAW THAT WAS PASSED TO BENEFIT THE international investors and the friends of the Andrew Wles administration.
N was the last bit.
It was the last um hurah by the Andrew Holes administration to further enrich and to cement themselves as billionaires in our country.
For anybody that believes that NAR is going to positively impact the lives of the poor and vulnerable in this nation, you are blind.
How could you believe that NAR is going to be a savior for the people when NHT is already being raided by the Jamaica Labor Party to do what? It's nothing.
It's nothing to do with housing. It has nothing to do with ensuring that those who are contributing to the National Housing Trust can have a hope of owning a home. NRA has nothing to do with hurricane victims post hurricane Melissa. Naira will be for the elites just as how the Jamaica Labor Party is for the elites. Lord God them not want me preach.
Mark 2 said them not want me preach.
Can I talk as em tonight?
WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND that N is just a JLP 2.0.
You're not seeing that.
You're not seeing that N is just a JLP 2.0. O N is a GLP on steroids because NR is backed by law.
This was the plot by the Jamaica Labor Party from the very beginning of the Andrew Wles administration. Nara is nothing new.
As a matter of fact, they have perverted N. Nara existed under the PJ Patterson's administration. It was through NAR we saw Portland becoming modernized somewhat and we saw development. It was head boy. You see I don't forget conversations you know. It was head boy who reminded us of n that existed under the pattern era. But n then under the people's national party was a n that benefited jamaicans.
What the Andrew Wles administration has done is to pervert the ideologies of Anara and has transformed it into something that will benefit the rich. It is through nar we will see a new parliamentary building.
Don't you remember the prime minister said that God house needs to be revamped improved.
that is top priority for the Andrew administration. As a matter of fact, this new parliamentary complex will be used as a tool to even try and buy out the opposition.
I want persons to understand what the JLP is up to and it's a reason why we have to be very careful. Let us let us um finish up the oddfame here.
THE AUDITOR general reports highlighted weaknesses in governance, accountability and financial management within OPM.
Critics argue that the government should have ensured stronger oversight mechanisms. This is the ODPM that the prime minister is saying that they're trying to improve and it needs to become stronger when corruption is running rampant in ADPM because ADPM is over by OPM.
When we talk about delayed use of disaster relief funds, the opposition figures criticize the fact that only a small percentage of donated hurricane funds had been spent months after donations were received. I agree that affected families needed assistance much sooner.
They have weakened odd pem.
It is only the PNP that can come and save it.
They have weakened APM, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN. AND IT IS A disgrace what we're see over by what would be in the past a dependable agency one that would be much more vocal in preparing Jamaicans for the hurricane season when last have you seen have you seen an ADPM advertisement on TV or hear of an often advertisement from ADPM. Well, I could be wrong. I don't watch TV very often, especially the local channels, but when last you see an ODP advertisement, and I mean a serious advertisement from Admar, building up the sensitization of what it would take to prepare Jamaicans for the hurricane season.
And Mark Golden said it, it is so prophetic what Mark Golding said and and and and and I feel like playing that video again because it is this administration, ladies and gentlemen, that weakened the institutions that were that was set up to benefit the people of this country. It's not just about oversight.
It's not just about holding our leaders accountable. But almost every single social institution that is there to benefit uh the poor and the vulnerable, it is the Andrew Hollessness administration that has weakened these institutions.
>> A corrupt government cannot liberate the people.
IF THE HEAD OF THE STREAM IS CORRUPT, the entire river will be also.
I do not support corruption.
Corruption takes money away from children's education. It deprivives hospitals of basic necessities. IT MEANS THAT ROADS ARE NOT FIXED. CORRUPTION DEEPENS INEQUALITY. IT SIPHONS OFF TAXPAYERS MONEY TO MAKE A FEW cronies richer with the political connections instead of benefiting the people.
This government has been doing everything it can to weaken and undermine the integrity commission which is an institution that I designed as minister of justice and brought the legislation to parliament to fight corruption in this country. I have said it before and I will tell you again.
Jamaica cannot move forward without a government built on integrity that embraces principles of good governance in this country.
So Mr. Prime Minister when you go and say that ADPM needs to be strengthened Satan cannot cast out Satan. You are the same administration that continues to weaken ADPM. ADPM was once a respected agency that a lot of Jamaicans depended on to give guidance in times of uncertainty.
But you are the administration that came and weakened ADPM. Why?
Because you just want to be close to the money. It's all about the money. It's all about the resources.
You've weakened ODPM to a place. Good night, Dar. Remember to like up the live, ladies and gentlemen. You've weakened ADPM so much that nobody even talks about APM anymore. The only time we hear about ADPM is in the auditor general's report with irregularities and corruption sitting down on funds not doing anything. That is the only thing we know about OPM today. And I will always say it these things ladies and gentlemen is just a reflection of the type of leadership that we have. Good night Maria Hilton and everybody who is just joining. Remember to like the live.
It hurts me ladies and gentlemen to see how this government continues to play in our faces. How they continue to try and manipulate the people of this country.
It is embarrassing.
I don't see how we can ever bounce back under this administration. And that's why I say to people all the time, it's one thing to just talk, but when election come around, ensure that you have the right government in power because there's nothing wrong with politics. Ladies and gentlemen, there's absolutely nothing wrong with politics.
But when you have politicians like those who are representing the government and when you have a prime minister like Andrew Holes, then a lot of person stay away from the politics because all you can see is corruption, mismanagement, manipulation, mind games and the people continue to suffer. June 1st is right around the corner and I don't see what sense odd pimp play.
I don't see what sense adm make.

>> Our first social media question tonight comes from Instagram Shana in Kingston.
She says low voter turnout suppresses the effectiveness of a democratic society. Many Jamaicans refuse to vote because they believe both parties are corrupt. What would you say to the significant population of non voters?
And if elected, how will you hold politicians accountable for offenses against the people instead of protecting them?
>> So in this instance, the question you have 90 seconds to answer and we begin with Dr. Corruption is a serious problem in our country and corruption requires strong leadership.
From my position as prime minister, I have taken action against any member of my political party uh that has been involved or accused of anything that suggests corruption. In my own case, I have been investigated uh for a year with a expert forensic auditor. Uh the findings of that report have suggested no corruption. There have been no charges.
Every aspect of my report, every aspect of my personal life and my personal financial details are in the public domain. I am the politician about which Jamaica knows the most. And therefore I am the politician who can stand with the greatest moral authority to treat with any matter that is considered corrupt as I have done in the past. And I want to give this assurance to the Jamaican people that you know me, you know about me, you can trust me and you know that I stand against corruption.
Mr. Golding has the opportunity to respond to that social media question as well with >> Andrew. What they know about you is that you have 28 bank accounts that you received several million dollars in cash deposits from anonymous donors in your bank account that your companies had transactions of over $400 million several thousand transactions between them. and that Positive Jamaica Foundation, a nonprofit which you are intimately connected with, provided resources which use for personal investments through your personal company. We have signed the leadership code of conduct developed by integrity commission. All of our spokespersons and myself have signed. None of your people have signed it. I am committed to ensuring that all members of the executive when we form government will have their integrity commission declarations published, not just the leader of the opposition. and what should happen but hasn't happened in your case because you're not certified the the prime minister. So the whole question that has been asked is an excellent question and we really need to step up our vigilance against corrupt behavior, nepotism and cronyism. The volume of scandals under this Jamaica Labor Party government is unprecedented.
over there number of ministers who have had to be removed from frontline duty.
Many of them parked in the naughty corner in OPM rather than being sacked.
It is a disgrace to the country and your personal situation where you're operating under a deep cloud because your integrity commission declarations are not certified also is something which Jamaica cannot go forward with.
>> Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back. This is the perspective and I'm your host Perry Cummings Jr. You know, today I saw a protest in Granville about the unfortunate death of Latoya Bulging, who was favorably called Bujo.
And you know, ladies and gentlemen, I'm going to try my best to not sound insensitive because I'm not.
But I am compelled to give my perspective on what I observed.
I posted it as a short or at least a part of it as a short on my YouTube channel. You can look at the short a little later on. And while I appreciate the efforts, while I appreciate the efforts, there is a conversation that we must have tonight, ladies and gentlemen, as it relates to Jamaicans and the facade of unity that we walk around with parading.
On social media, ladies and gentlemen, there was a lot of outrage regarding the death of Buju.
It seemed as if this would have been the hair that broke the camel's back in this country.
CCTV footage caught the police officer IN THE VERY ACT of murder.
And we don't have to go over what took place, but for emphasis, ladies and gentlemen, this woman was not a threat to the police. We saw the direction that the car was being turned.
We saw in detail what took place, how her body was thrown into the back of a jeep, how she was handled.
And I remembered social media went into a frenzy so much so that we saw international human rights groups making it very clear that they are aware of the situation and they were very much concerned as to how the entire act played out. And you would think, ladies and gentlemen, that if a protest is going to happen in Granville, St. James, regarding of what caused the entire country to shake up, to have been shaken up, to cause all the Tik Tockers to be talking about it, the advocates to be talking about it, international human rights group to be talking about it. You would think, ladies and gentlemen, that if a protest is happening in St. James that the entire parish would have been out.
That is what I am expecting at this point.
I AM EXPECTING THE citizens in St. JAMES TO PUT ASIDE THE GREEN and the orange, COME TOGETHER, SUPPORT THE family and protest because this shenanica should never be a 9-day attack.
We all saw what happened in Granville, St. James. WE ALL SAW HOW BUJU DIED.
It is a shame, ladies and gentlemen, that only a handful of people could show up.
Only a handful of people could hold up some plaque cards. Donna Johnson, thank you for the $10 in the super chat.
Ladies and gentlemen, please say a big thanks to Dorna in the chat. And feel free to support the super chat as well.
Feel free. The super chat is available.
I'm going to get to that Selene Browning because I understand the argument of fear. I am not saying no. And again, I don't want to sound so insensitive and and and and um rigid. I understand ladies and gentlemen, the fear factor. BUT OPAL, BEFORE I GET TO the entire Jamaica, I want us to be fair in our assessment. Let us narrow it down to St. James for now. We soon get to Jamaica and we soon get to the to the to the the wider support that should be shown from all citizens. We soon get to that. Let us let us PARK THE BUS. NOT THE YELLOW BUS, you know, that that D vase um put the p them in. We're talking about the yellow bus of truth. Let us park the bus at St. Let's reason. Let us park the bus of truth at St. James for now because other Jamaicans Opal could say, "Well, Perry, you want us to go and support the residents in St. James and the family of BJU?" But we in Kingston are we in in in um St. Katherine, are we in St. An or we in in Trilan other places?
Why should we travel from so far go to Granville? Because it would only make sense to protest in the area or in the vicinity where the the act took place. But a Jamaican who is not from the parish, who is not um from the community h could argue and say, well, why should I travel from Spanish Town or Port Moore, go all the way to St. James H when the same people in Granville are not coming out to protest. It is discouraging AND IT IS THE HARSH TRUTH.
BUT I UNDERSTAND THAT PEOPLE ARE AFRAID WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE CCTV footage because remember you know is the protest that Buu was supporting you know and it was her connections to the previous killing of the 17 year old that caused the whole pandemonium.
Some persons would say, Perry, I would want to go out and protest, but I am afraid.
Look at what them do to BJO.
I understand that perspective. But ladies and gentlemen, if Nanny was fearful, if Sam Sharp was fearful, if Paul Bogle was fearful, if George Williams was fearful, if Marcus Gavi was fearful, if Bali was fearful, if the maroons were fearful, if our four if Kgerm did fearful, if our forefather fathers who fought for freedom, equality, equity, and things alike. If they were crippled by fear, we would not have been here today.
A difficult conversation, perspective, family. I understand, but it CANNOT BE LIKE THAT. SOMETHING so gruesome happened in St. James. And you're telling me that the entire parish couldn't take a day?
You you couldn't TELL ME THAT THE 7DAY ADVENTIST churches couldn't keep the Sabbath out on the streets and say, "Listen, man, we're keeping church, but we're we're we're fooling up the streets today because what? Something disgraceful happened in our parish that brought disrepute to not only our parish but the land of Jamaica.
And we're closing down our churches today.
And we're bringing churches to the streets and we're going to sing the songs of Zion in support of the family of Lata Bulging.
Keep the Sabbath school on the street side. Set up the mic and the speaker boxes on the street side AND PREACH THE WORD OF GOD.
PREACH THE WORD of God out there and in the midst of YOUR MESSAGE YOU TALK ABOUT the message of love AND YOU BRING UP THE fact that Bulggin did not EXPERIENCE LOVE FROM THE POLICE officer that day and you preach and support the family.
Why is it that the CHURCHES CAN STILL BE HAVING REGULAR CHURCH service as if SOMETHING SO DISGRACEFUL DIDN'T HAPPEN?
IS IT SO IMPORTANT FOR US TO GO TO CHURCH and gather in our four walls while Jamaica on the outside is deteriorating before our very eyes?
IS IT SO IMPORTANT LADIES AND gentlemen for US TO COLLECT THE OFFERING AND TO sing sweet songs from our himnel books?
But the people are out there on THE STREETS PROTESTING, ASKING FOR SOME ATTENTION, ASKING FOR JUSTICE.
But preaching a 1 hour or a 2hour sermon is MORE IMPORTANT THAN BONDING and gathering with the people on THE ROADSIDE ASKING FOR WHAT WOULD JESUS do people OF ST. JAMES WHAT WOULD JESUS DO CHURCHES in St. James, WOULD JESUS BE IN HIS CHURCH WHILE THE PEOPLE ARE OUT THERE TRYING TO GET ATTENTION, TRYING TO GET JUSTICE?
Would he be in church?
How would he be out there with the poor AND THE VULNERABLE, THE BROKEN, THE DYING, THE DESTITUTE, THE CONFUSED?
Because the PEOPLE ARE WONDERING WHAT DID LATOYA BULGING DO TO DESERVE SUCH a fate.
But because IT NEVER HAPPENED AT DOORSTEP, BECAUSE I never f with sister, because I never feel with mother, because I never FEEL WITH AUNTIE, BECAUSE I NEVER F WITH FRIEND. ONLY A handful could see it fit to go out today and say we want justice. This is the reason why Jamaica will never see a change. If we continue like this, we can't see a change.
WE WILL NEVER SEE A CHANGE.
The churches should never be keeping regular service. LISTEN ALL OF THEM NEVER know someone protested happen you shouldn't have to wait until listen as the tr I tell people all the time you know I tell people all the time you know when it comes to protests advocacy surrounding equity truth and justice and balancing the scales it is the church that should be leading the charge on these things the institution of church should be leading the charge on these matter matters.
I REMEMBERED WHEN THE CHURCH WAS OUTRAGED about the conversations about the possibilities of legalizing Obia.
Who remembered when a number OF THE CHURCHES TOOK TO THE STREETS AND MARCH?
I don't support Obia either, but what happened to Latoya Bulging was witchcraft in and of itself.
What happened in Granville, ladies and gentlemen, WAS SATANIC. IT WAS DEMONIC BECAUSE THE BIBLE TELLS US WOE UNTO them not shed innocent blood.
I don't see the church come out and demonstrate for the 17 year old for the territorial massacre. I don't hear anybody come out and talk about those things yet. THE CHURCH JUST START PROTEST YET. The church have become so modernized and so sophisticated.
They rather to go on on um talk shows.
They rather to write articles.
H they rather call in and they hide behind the four walls of the churches while you know how we win souls by showing the people that we care.
That is how you win souls. People have to feel the love. The fouryear-old baby Jenny Taylor.
That is how YOU WIN SOULS. HOW YOU EXPECT TO WIN souls church when the people are depending on the church to LEAVE THIS CHURCH. JAMAICA IS IN TROUBLE.
AND I'M NOT BEATING THE ADVENTIST CHURCH ALONE. I'M TALKING ALL OF THESE BIBLE BELIEVING CHURCHES WITH ALL THAT WE HAVE BEEN SEEING IN OUR COUNTRY.
THE AUDITOR GENERAL.
NO, NO, NO, NO. and Elizabeth Beth. It is one thing for the church to pray, but this is the same thing that happened to the children of Israel because this is the excuse that the church will say, "We are praying, brother Perry.
All of us are praying."
But I remembered when the Lord promised the children of Israel that they would have won the battle against their enemies and they went out there and they lost THE BATTLE. AND JOSHUA WENT DOWN TO PRAY AND GOD SAID, "GET UP.
Sin is in the camp. GO AND DEAL WITH IT."
Faith without works is dead.
There's nothing wrong with praying.
But we HAVE TO BE CAREFUL THAT WE'RE NOT PRAYING. SO TILL WE START beating the air, WHAT SENSE IS OUR PRAYERS? WHAT SENSE OUR PRAYERS? IF OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS ARE OUT THERE, JOIN THEM.
GO OUT THERE WITH THEM. STAND WITH THEM.
Take church to the people. AND IF YOU MUST PRAY, GO OUT THERE AND PRAY WITH THE PEOPLE. YOU DON'T HAVE TO STAY IN YOUR FOUR WALLS AND pray or what? ONLY IN CHURCH. GOD ANSWER YOUR PRAYER.
I WAS SO HEARTBROKEN LADIES AND GENTLEMEN BECAUSE GOD KNOW IF I had the means I could I would have gone there.
I was so heartbroken because IF A PRAYER WE HAVE TO PRAY AND WE MUST PRAY I PRAY HERE every day.
So perspective NO SHORT OF PRAYER BUT THERE COMES A TIME LADIES AND GENTLEMEN WHEN YOU HAVE TO TAKE CHURCH to the people. IF THE PEOPLE ARE OUT THERE PROTESTING TAKE THE CHURCH TO THE PEOPLE HOLD THEM HAND AND PRAY WITH THEM.
And this is the reason why a lot of people are losing their faith in church because the church is very selective when they when they should come out and talk. And I'm going to tell you how selective we are.
I remember the whole lot of churches came out and bashed the rude boy sign.
Remember the billboard argument? I I went on all angles and I spoke about our morality in our society and that's okay. The signs were were a disgrace and I'm happy that the church spoke up about the signs but we can't just talk about explicit signs. What about the unjustified killings of the people of this country? No transparency.
We heard that the 80% of the body worn cameras will not come until 2029.
What will Jamaica look like until then?
And that could very well be another lie.
You know what we see in church today?
Everybody is focused on their doctrines.
Everybody is focused on how you look.
H when last some of these churches talk about or even try to address what is happening in this society. Eh, how many of these churches are that talk about long skirt and broad hat, no makeup, and and I'm not saying that they don't have a right to have their rules, but it seems as if the church is more passionate about these things THAN THE FACT THAT Jamaica is deteriorating spiritually, morally, and otherwise.
Jesus spoke about the social ills that happened in our society when they were in the synagogue selling and buying and turning the holy temple into a place like a market. Jesus never go down and pray. HE WENT AND HE TURNED OVER THE TABLES.
him turn OVER THE TABLE THEM. WHERE WAS JESUS PRAYING IN THAT MOMENT?
There comes A POINT IN TIME, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WHERE YOU HAVE TO GO AND TURN OVER SOME TABLES IN THIS COUNTRY.
But the people of Jamaica, the people of Jamaica, and when I talk like this, they have a problem.
And when I talk like this, they say, "Perry, you're harsh. Perry, you're controversial. Perry, you're beat in the church." Well, listen. I've been in church all my life, and I got a piece of what church was growing up. And I'm telling you, if it was a time like this, churches would have street meetings and the pastor wouldn't be afraid to talk about social issues. That is how Martin Luther King, Jesse Jackson, and many others, THEY PREACHED CHRIST, BUT THEY ALSO PREACHED JUSTICE.
THEY FOUGHT FOR BLACK AMERICA.
THEY FOUGHT FOR THE BLACK COMMUNITY.
ROSA PARKS NEVER PRAY. She refused to SIT AT THE BACK OF THE BUS.
SHE DIDN'T PRAY AND SAY, "LORD, HELP ME. RACISM, there's they're they're criticizing me.
THEY'RE DISCRIMINATING ME." ROSA PARKS REFUSED TO GO TO THE BACK OF THE BUS.
SHE SAT AT THE FRONT OF THE BUS. THERE WAS ACTION.
SAM WAS A DEACON IN THE BAPTIST CHURCH AND HE LED A REBELLION IN THE VERY SAME PARISH, ST. JAMES PAUL WALKED AS A DEACON, WALKED FROM ST. THOMAS TO SPANISH TOWN AS MINISTERS OF THE WORD.
SO DON'T TELL ME THAT CHURCH PEOPLE SHOULD JUST [ __ ] UP IN A CHURCH AND PRAY.
LOOK AT THE LEGACY THAT IS IN ST. JAMES. ONE OF OUR NATIONAL HEROES LED A REBELLION THERE AND HE WAS A MAN OF GOD.
THE OLDEST denomination in our country is the Baptist Church, born right out of slavery.
THE OLDEST CHURCH IN JAMAICA is the Philippo BAPTIST CHURCH. THAT MAN WAS A MAN of God. The man said, "I RATHER DIE.
I RATHER HANG ON THE gallows than to to dwell in slavery." Something to that effect.
SO DON'T TELL ME THAT WE SHOULD JUST SIT ASIDE, WATCH OUR JAMAICANS PROTESTING, WATCH OUR JAMAICANS DYING OUT DAY BY DAY, ONE BY AND WE DON'T HAVE NOTHING TO SAY, NOT EVEN TO CLOSE DOWN CHURCH FOR A weekend and just take to the streets, keep church IN OUR STREETS, ALL THE organizations come together and keep church out on the streets, get some media attention. And when CVM AND TVJ ASKS YOU WHY this unique move of THE CHURCH COMMUNITY, NEVER HAVE WE SEEN SABBATH CHURCHES AND SUNDAY CHURCHES GOING out in the streets in in in droves. And when you tell THEM WHY, IT WOULD COME ACROSS SO POWERFUL BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHAT THE CHURCH WOULD SAY?
There is a lack of love in society.
The extrajudicial killings are too much.
Too much corruption in our government.
Unspent donations.
The solidarity program failed because 700 and odd million gone back to reduce debt. So many people were approved and they still didn't receive a dollar.
West Miland they are destitute, forgotten and cut off.
The hurricane season is upon us and Jamaica is not ready. The El Nino is going to come with intense heat but also with unpredictable weather. One to three hurricanes are predicted for this for this year. You know, and the church the church doesn't they don't care.
But they're going to turn around and ask the people to come give your life to God.
I'm pretty SURE THEY WOULD BE HAPPY to see the entire family of of Latoya Bulging pack up in church saying that they want to get baptized. And that would be good. But you know what the family is looking for? They're looking for the love. They they want to see how the church will assist in them seeking justice for their fallen family member.
I listen, I may have ruffled some feathers tonight, but God knows my heart. I'm speaking the truth.
God knows my heart. Ladies and gentlemen, I am I was moved when I saw the Tik Tok live.
I screen recorded a piece of it and I put it on my YouTube channel.
But when I saw the numbers, I said no.
People just walking by so unconcerned.
The lack of love, the lack of care. This is the reason why this government continues to operate the way they do because they know that Jamaica will never unite when we should unite. The only time we unite or when we want with party win JLP and PNP win. That's the time we take to the streets. Why is it that during election time our streets are flooded with orange and green?
But when it is TIME FOR US TO FLOOD THE STREETS AGAIN.
You know what? Let me move on.
Let me move on.
Let me move on. Ladies and gentlemen, listen to Pernell Charles Jr.
talking about over 450,000 Listen to this.
>> The Ministry of Labor and Social Security says over 100,000 households have been completed under the roofs program. Minister Pernel Charles Junior says with individual family members taken into consideration, the number of people who have benefited may be well over 400,000.
Remardo Lions reports.
over 116,000 households and about 464,000 individuals. The number of beneficiaries to date under the restoration of owner or occupant family shelters roofs program.
>> Multiples of of persons in the families that have been assessed. Um and as you know before we had around 45,000 that have been verified which we put into phase one of the roofs programs. Under phase one, over 80% of hurricane battered and displaced individuals have received a voucher and have completed the process of getting cash or building materials.
For the remaining uh persons who have been verified and have received their text message and have not yet redeemed, we realize that they have had some challenges and in large part we acknowledge those challenges and it is out of those challenges that we have been able to modify the system and to put in place uh what we call a much more advanced way for them to complete that process. To make that possible, a digital platform has been developed.
>> You put in your TRN and the dashboard updates automatically, advising you of your status, tells you where to collect and it allows you to follow the instructions. So, all of what was before in terms of um a more aruous process has been broken down. And of course, we're using artificial intelligence that has been uh embedded into this digital platform to assist us to close off the 20% of persons for phase one.
>> Under phase two, several people are still unverified. As a result, a national verification initiative has been advanced. where we'll be working with all members of parliament, counselors, community leaders to make sure that we can bring those persons out and help them in two ways. Uh our infield visits include the use of a system built inhouse at the ministry by our experts that allows us to carry out uh a digital solution in field and take the data including banking information.
So we can do direct deposit.
>> Mr. Charles Junior says another option for phase 2 is a similar digital platform that's now being tested. Roard Lions, TVJ News.
Why wasn't that approach? And for first of all, Mr. Pernell Charles Jr., You can go on and spew numbers and tell us how many thousands of people have benefited from your roofs program. The truth is when we look on the ground, when we talk to THE PEOPLE, A WHOLE LOT OF JAMAICANS, they they've still not benefited from it.
They've still not benefited from your program, sir. The same program that we have a problem with, the same program where the vouchers them have expiration date. How can you put an expiration date on recovery and resilience makes absolutely no sense. And then you go on to talk about artificial intelligence and the use of TRN. Why is it Delhi if you are using the TRN your prime minister is still pushing for needs and a form of identification? What which foreign power is it that you want people to you want to survey us?
What type of surveillance is it that this government is trying to implement in this country? Because if the tn can be used, apparently it has been used over the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. Why then is the government still pushing for needs?
How many Jamaicans don't benefit from the roofs program? LOOK HOW MUCH PEOPLE WENT TO THE ONE LOCATION and did not receive anything. I am questioning you on the numbers, Mr. Pel Charles.
I am questioning you on your numbers, Colonel Charles Junior.
I am challenging you on those numbers cuz based on what we are hearing on the ground, sir, you've still not um met you've not met the people where they are as yet.
The amount of roofs non-existent people still on that carings.
It is so easy to spew numbers e but but the numbers Mr. Pel Charles Jr.
Do they represent the realities on the ground? And that is my reasoning to you.
It is easy to come to a press briefing and reel off numbers.
What is the reality on the ground? What are the realities on the ground?
How many people benefit from the voucher? How many people can't collect no money? The numbers are not adding up and how can we trust you when the solidarity program failed talking about standard procedure and how how you did hear Mr. Charles Jun coming to defend the solidarity program.
How they have written a letter to see if they can get back the money. Let me tell you something ladies and gentlemen. This government is not thinking about the people of this country. You know because he just said it in that press briefing that he admit that there were some challenges but now the system is more easier and more flexible and more accessible. Why didn't you make it more accessible in the beginning? Why this government must always be reactive?
Why must you have to frustrate people before you try and make the thing more easier for the people to maneuver and to benefit from?
What's wrong with you people? SHOULDN'T YOU PEOPLE BE THE BEST AT what you do?
Am I to believe that the entire government is just incompetent?
Am I to believe that ALL THE MINISTERS JUST THEY JUST GOT THESE positions because of nepotism friend and company? You're telling me that nobody in the JLP government have a clue as to what they're doing the plan.
NOBODY CAN PUT SOMETHING IN place now that will still benefit the people in a positive way.
But I cannot trust this government, ladies and gentlemen. I can't trust a word because we saw the speaker OF THE HOUSE, THE PRESIDENT of the Senate, Colleen Law, and the trying to prevent PARLIAMENT FROM TABLEABLING THE FLA report.
SO MUCH SO THAT THEY WANTED TO APPEAL the decision. Listen to this ladies and gentlemen. I just talk about again the corruption of this administration AND WHY I'M HAPPY that some things are prevailing despite the fight of the corrupt politicians out of the Jamaica Labor Party. Listen, >> the Supreme Court has refused an application by the Firearm Licensing Authority, FLA, seeking disclosure of an investigative report prepared by the Integrity Commission concerning alleged corruption, impropriy, and irregularities in the storage of firearms and ammunition and the award of firearm licenses at the authority.
In a ruling delivered by Justice Tara Carr in Chambers, the court determined that the report remains confidential under the provisions of the Integrity Commission Act until it is formally tabled in Parliament. In refusing the application, Justice Carr held that the court already had sufficient information to determine the issues arising at the leave stage and that disclosure of the report was therefore unnecessary at this point in the proceedings. The court found that the FLA was already aware of the nature of the investigation, the decision makers involved, and the grounds upon which it intended to challenge the process, including allegations of procedural unfairness and illegality. Justice Scar stated that the judicial review proceedings are primarily concerned with the decision-making process of which the applicant was already aware. The court further held that the integrity commission had satisfied its duty of Canada by providing sufficient information regarding the investigation and the process undertaken. Justice Carr also rejected submissions that the report fell outside the confidentiality provisions of the integrity commission act. The court concluded that reports prepared pursuant to section 54 of the act remain subject to the confidentiality requirements imposed by section 533 until they are tabled in parliament. The judge noted that the legislation expressly criminalizes unauthorized disclosure of confidential investigative material and held that it would be inappropriate for the court to order disclosure in circumstances where parliament had prescribed a clear statutory process governing confidentiality and tableabling.
Accordingly, the court refused the application for disclosure. The court granted leave to appeal the ruling. The substantive application for leave to apply for judicial review is scheduled for hearing on September 17, 2026.
Janella Precuse, TVJ News.
>> SO THEM FIRE AND IF THE ENEMY HAVE FIRE, YOU CAN'T STAND UP LIKE STOOL. YOU CAN'T GO ON LIKE YOU FIRE BACK. SOMEBODY LI GOD BES JESUS CHRIST. WAR TONIGHT BISHOP WARFARE TONIGHT. WALK.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is the same report. For some reason, the Jamaica Labor Party government did not want to be tabled in parliament.
I don't want persons TO SEPARATE THE ISSUES NOW BECAUSE I WANT TO CALL THE Andrew Wless administration to the very front of the line. WHY IS IT THAT ALL OF YOU WERE SO FIRM in your stance in not allowing the FLA report to be tabled? And why is it that FLA wants to know the contents OF THE REPORT? YEAH.
YEAH. THE CORRUPTION, ladies and gentlemen.
They've always tried to discredit the integrity commission because it is something that Mark Golden helped to put together and because the integrity commission is there to hold this corrupt administration accountable.
THEY'RE DEFINITELY HIDING SOMETHING. I WANT TO HEAR THE CONTENTS OF THAT REPORT.
If it was the PNP who was mixed up in this thing here, I am telling you, we would have heard about this thing already. The propaganda media houses, the bloggers would have been leaked information and they would have been out day and night talking about the corruption of the people's national party. They don't want to table the report, ladies and gentlemen, because they have to they have some people who they have to protect. So my question to the JLP government, who are you protecting?
Who are you protecting?
What are you hiding?
Because it it cannot be a coincidence and the FLA uneasy and you uneasy too.
It cannot BE THAT YOU ARE uneasy and effe too. I don't believe in coincidences.
Something is wrong and some people are going to be exposed and I am going to be here to wait and talk about everything that is going to come to the public. I listen not even nothing from Nationwide. Ganon Riley, huh? Nationwide will be talking about why nationwide not talk about the FLA report.
Nationwide, you're so vocal.
Oh, not talk about THE ISN'T THIS A BIG This is big news. You know, this is big news.
This is something that I expect Cliff Hughes and George Davis Tyrone Reed and others to be talking about Parliament refusing to table the EA report.
The court tell them hold on. Ladies and gentlemen, let me tell you some things with me ear.
Let me tell you some things here. I tell me ear.
So the court says no secrecy.
The IC report will be tabled.
Court says no to secrecy. Somebody type in the chat no secrets. No secrets. No secrets.
Andrew homeless administration.
NO SEE. YOU HOLD ME DOWN for a very long time. I wanted to go, but you wouldn't LET ME GO. NOW I'M FREE. You come running after me, but you can't catch me again. Oh, you can't get me again. Oh, you can't catch me again.
Oh, you hold me down for a very long time. I wanted to go, but you wouldn't let me go. Now I'm free. You come running after me, but you can't get me again. Listen up, ladies and gentlemen.
Listen up.
The Supreme Court has spoken and the message is clear.
No government agency is above the law.
The FLA tried to block the Integrity Commission report from reaching Parliament. The court said no.
THE REPORT stays confidential until it's stabled exactly as the law requires.
That's how accountability is supposed to work. On Tuesday, June 2, somebody said June 2, no man. SOMEBODY SAY JUNE 2 MAN.
SOMEBODY SAY JUNE 2 MAN. GOD. SOMEBODY SAY JUNE 2. June 2. June 2. June 2.
We have mash UP FIRE UNDER THE HOLY GHOST. EVERY CRISIS, EVERY CONDITION, EVERY OPERATION OF HELL. FIRE. FIRE.
BISHOP, I GOT YOUR BACK. FIRE. FIRE.
JESUS CHRIST. WATCH THE OPERATION. WATCH THE OPERATION. JESUS CHRIST. THIS WILL PARK. COME. COME. COME ON. COVER YOUR PASTOR. COVER YOUR PASTOR. GO IN BISHOP.
GO IN. GO IN. BISHOP. DEAD. THE ILLUMINATI. TELL THEM THE VOODOO. TELL THEM THE FREE. DEAD THE WITCHES. TELL THEM THE WARLOCK.
HIM.
THE HOLY GHOST LEFT HIM. LEFT HIM.
June 2.
ON TUESDAY, JUNE 2, 20 26, Jamaicans need to finally see what the IC found about corruption and irreg irregularities in firearm licensing. The PNP has been calling for transparency from day one. This ruling proves that pressure works. The people deserve answers. ON JUNE 2, they better get them.

>> Yes. What happened?
>> Sar Hospital >> while while the um doctor >> without medical experience >> log around the place.
>> M.
>> So a cousin of mine >> Mhm.
>> was in the hospital since went down since Thursday.
>> Yes.
>> For high blood pressure. Mr. Perry, I'm in the States. So you know and he was in the hospital since Thursday >> with a very high blood pressure.
>> Mhm.
>> Sitting in a chair since Thursday >> and family member spoke to him up until this morning 7:00 he was still in a chair when they left him.
>> Mhm. only for 8:30 for the family to get a call to come to Savar Hospital emergency.
The young man got up and went to the to the bathroom and attended with a very high blood pressure.
>> You know the rest?
>> What happened? Call >> a dead man now.
>> Jesus.
>> When the family members went there, he was well wet. So apparently he fell in the bathroom and break off the pipe.
>> Oh no.
>> So it was all water around the place and all the doctor could tell the family members is that he went to the bathroom and collapsed.
Now this is the health system in Jamaica. Mr. very I am a part of I do health care in America >> and I'm telling you if you go to the hospital with any symptoms of high pressure or anything that will give you a you don't move from the bed >> they they give you back pan to you to to do what you're doing in and you're on the monitor >> yes you're you're supervised you're supervised you're you're monitored >> exactly >> so this is the system that we have in Jamaica that Andrew and his friends are calling us to come home to >> Jesus.

Mr. Perry. Condolences to that gentleman, Mr. Perry. As some church people, you know, and keep it hush. Yes.
With the Ebola and the suspected cases, they return to Jamaica from some one of those parishes. See, some church people keep up their program. But it is said that something like that happened. But you don't know they don't have the resources >> Mhm.
>> to keep people covered from that. So they hide it and that's what's going on.
They don't even come out >> and even say to people be cautious that and that and that. Everything is a secret for the Jamaica Labor Party. Set a criminal and them.
>> All right. Well, it's really just allegations right now. So I mean it's alleged. It's alleged that there are probably cases in Jamaica regarding Ebola. I I I I don't know for sure, ladies and gentlemen, but time will tell. God almighty. Oh, I thought I believe I saw something.

But let us hear again what um happened with Mr. Isat Banan. I'm pulling up the news on Ebola.
We're going to play it. But listen to Isaac Bakanan again and his victories.
In the legal space, >> the court of appeal has overturned a finding of professional misconduct against attorney and Portland Eastern MP Isat Buchanan. The ruling relates to comments he made in 2020 about former DPP Paula Llewellyn. In a unanimous decision today, the court said the disciplinary committee of the general legal council acted unfairly and breached principles of natural justice.
It also found that the committee erred in law that the court set aside the misconduct ruling and all sanctions and ordered the GLC to pay Buchanan's legal costs. The judges also ruled that the committee improp improperly relied on the subjudic rule without giving Buchanan adequate notice to respond.
Now still to come this evening, PM urges strengthening of OPM ahead of hurricane season and in business.

Ladies and gentlemen, when you see his hood up on the screen, anybody remember this person?
Anybody know this man?
I put it at the center of the screen because one person's you want to KNOW WHERE BRUCE GO OUT AND SELL. Ladies and gentlemen, I going keep him right there.
Former Prime Minister Bruce Boling and I going read this the article. TELL ME IF YOU don't think that Bruce Golden is calling out the Andrew Holes administration.
This is what Bruce Golding said.
Public officials in Jamaica do not instinctively embrace oversight and monitoring.
Former Bruce, former Prime Minister Bruce Goolan has asserted Gold, who served as Prime Minister between 2007 and 2011, said oversight and monitoring for some officials is a humbug, an inconvenience, and an intrusion on the exercise of their functions. Mighty God of Daniel.
BRUCE GOLDEN IS WHO YOU'RE TALKING.
Bruce Golden is who you're talking.
You are definitely SPEAKING TO SOMEBODY. YOU KNOW, because we've been seeing a blatant disregard for the institutions that should hold our leaders accountable.
We've seen how the Andrew Holes administration blatantly disregard the Integrity Commission having the audacity having the audacity to try and undermine the Integrity Commission. WE'VE SEEN HOW THE Labor Rights and the JP BLOGGERS AND THE ENTIRE ANDREW ADMINISTRATION condescendingly speak about the Auditor General. I find it very interesting uh that Bruce Golan could come out and speak so boldly about our leaders seeing these agencies as an inconvenience.
Let us read the story. I want to read this article.
I want to read this article, ladies and gentlemen.
Let us read the article.
Uh probably be with you for probably 10 more minutes, but let's read let's read this article.
After you are sworn, hold on before I even read it. We know Bruce Golden a hypocrite.
We know Bruce Bing a hypocrite.
But I love when the labor rights beat labor rights. Let me tell you why I love when labor rights beat labor rights. I like when labor rights beat labor rights because when labor rights beat labor rights them can't see a politics the labor rights are play.
I like when labor rights beat labor rights BECAUSE WHEN LABOR RIGHTS beat labor rights them can't see politics labor rights ARE PLAY BECAUSE WHEN PERRY CUMMINGS JR. BEAT LABOR RIGHTS YOU'RE GOING TO HEAR THAT PERRY CUMMINGS JR. is a comrade. That is true. And and I have my biases, but I LOVE WHEN LABOR RIGHTS beat labor rights because when labor rights beat labor rights, THEM CAN'T SEE YOUR POLITICS, LABOR RIGHTS ARE PLAY. So make the hypocritical Bruce Golden come out and beat the prime minister. Beat them. Can we get to 500 likes? Somebody say 69 likes to Can Can we get to 69 likes? I'm not I'm not moving on as yet.
Come on guys, let us play Mr. um this poem by Michael Abrahams while we play the tarpoling and many of you may have seen it already. We've played it here before and you've heard it in different places. I think it's a wonderful poem for us to break on so that we can get the likes to 500. Let's go.
people balling and that are balling and rain soon start falling cuz next month of June so hurricane season come again soon and you don't know that mons soon but when some people lay down and look up at night when the mosquito them a bite and in a darkness cause them not have no light them no sin a roof or ceiling over them head all them see is are balling instead.
People balling and that are balling. And when them wake up tomorrow morning, them still homeless, feeling hopeless, distressed, wondering how the hell them end up in a dismiss, uncomfortable, miserable, vulnerable, exposed to the elements from all directions. Dreams blown away with them earthly possessions. Dejected and feeling rejected. Never expected to be neglected by the elected. Still waiting for dwellings to be erected.
It not pretty. It not cute. Big big sm and little you destitute. Just a catch-like tree without root facing the truth that they have been abandoned.
People balling and that are palling but the authorities them stalling. Whole heap of money sent but uncle a little ts of it spent less than 2% but the powers that be take you and me for idiot for fool take the hole away for buffoon like a big bud where born behind cow I tell we said I fix things soon when things should well fix by now them comfortably residents with them ceiling floor and concrete wall them think about the people living on the Pauling at all and them not care what we say. Them other things them own way. Oversight get a fight and take flight. Accountability get park.
Transparency gone for a walk. And if you open your mouth and talk the tribalist and the troll where on them pay roll come out with guns blazing to the comments sections racing raging tracing and I say you on the other side but the wall of them move them back side cuz money flow and dollars are run but the people on the top get little or none but how come because of we are just reality a just fact and we sit down and allow all of that somewhere tribal and make excuse use. Some oppose but not have no use. Some sit on the fence, some hide behind wall and say nothing at all cuz them not have no balls. Hey, too many away in the east and the middle while Roma burn fiddle. We dash away complacency. Next time it could be you and me. So nobody go and we out and your mouth the turn up strong and speak out.
Make up noise, protest, keep talking and don't rest, demonstrate and advocate.
for the people balling under that balling.
Aim we are mash up FIRE UNDER THE HOLY GHOST. EVERY CRISIS, EVERY CONDITION, EVERY OPERATION OF HELL. FIRE, FIRE, BISHOP. I GOT YOUR BACK. FIRE. FIRE.
JESUS CHRIST. WATCH THE OPERATION. WATCH THE OPERATION. JESUS CHRIST. EASTWOOD PARK. COME. COME. COME ON. COVER YOUR PASTOR. COVER YOUR PASTOR. GO IN BISHOP.
GO IN. GO IN. BISHOP. GET THEM THE ILLUMINATI. GET THEM THE BUDDHA.
DEAD ON THE WITCHES. DEAD ON THE WARLOCK. DEAD ON THE HOLY GHOST. LET HIM LEFT HIM.
THE HOLY GHOST. LEFT HIM. LEFT HIM. LEFT HIM. SAKA.
WE ARE MASH UP. YOU KNOW THAT WAS A WONDERFUL POINT. Ah Bruce Golden you hurled some stones against political figures. as something tells me that you were very very intentional.
You you were very intentional with that.
Let let's let's read though, ladies and gentlemen. Uh Golden who served as prime minister between 2007 and 2011 said oversight and monitoring for some officials is a humbug, an inconvenience and an intrusion on the exercise of their functions. The assertion he explained is based on 50 years of experience working with people across civil services.
Huh.
and statutory agencies after you are sworn in at King's House and you go down to your ministry, you don't put on your agenda. Now, bringing all of those of these oversight people so that they can see what I'm doing, he said yesterday during a public launch of two digital accountability tools for citizens.
However, Golden was quick to point out that this doesn't necessarily mean that they're involved in wrongdoing. Listen to Golden. You know, it is just that very often they feel, "Look, I was put here to do a job. Just leave me alone and let me do the job." He said, "You can't do that with this government." Mr. Bruce Golden also suggested that citizens have to become more aware that keeping an eye on their government is good and worthwhile. True. How many of us are really holding this government?
Let me pause right there. So, you think Jamaica is really serious about holding our leaders accountable? We've been hearing reports after report from the auditor general and it seems as if the average Jamaican citizen, they just don't care.
I I DON'T THINK JAMAICA IS REALLY IT IS THE opposition and a few Jamaicans who are really and truly holding the government accountable.
THE AVERAGE Jamaican don't care about corruption in this country. Now ladies and gentlemen, listen to Golden.
He endorsed the work of the civil society group Jamaica Accountability Meter Portal Jump. Remember the current prime minister said that I bear fake civil society groups out there. You hear the difference? You ever hear the prime minister come out and and um compliment the civil society groups?
YOU EVER HEAR THREE MORE LIKES? THREE MORE LIKES TO 500. Take so long for reach three. Come on guys. Three. Three.
Three, three, three. Peter, Peter, James, and John. Who will be a Peter?
James, and a John to bring us to 500 likes. Two more.
Who is the James? Who is the John?
We reach it, Carl.
We should be at 500 likes by now. Oh, we're over 500. God is good.
The prime minister said that be a fake civil society groups out there while Bruce Golden is is is endorsing the work of the civil society group and it's an executive director Janet Calder in promoting good governance and compliance with established guidelines. This is what Bruce said to the director. She is not the only person on the radio who talks about questions of accountability and compliance and so on. But I'll say this, she has been a credible voice. You hear that?
Golden went on to said, in all her interventions, she has been completely nonpartisan.
Well, some of them may go off the bend, but neither the PNP nor the JLP would be able to accuse Ganet Calder of being biased towards or against either of them, he added. What do you guys think about that? Tell me what you think. You think the the um the director of J is nonpartisan?
Let me know what you think in the comments, guys.
Yeah, let me know what you think. I don't know how to feel about that 100%.
But this is what Golden said though and I I can appreciate where he said that listen the tracker for public bodies will be populated with the findings of each entity's compliance with selected government of Jamaica corporate governance indicators J revealed it said this datadriven approach will shed light on areas that need improvement and uphold higher standards for institutions. s that are the stewards of public funds and services. I welcome that process. I just hope that this system will truly hold leaders accountable and don't be selective.
Right? If if we're going to implement a system jump, that is to really and truly um hold our leaders accountable in a better way. Let it not be very selective. The sectoral commitment tracker will use data obtained through the access to information act to confirm whether undertakings by government ministries are fulfilled, not fulfilled or ongoing. The government is going to really allow this without a systemic record of what was promised and what was delivered. citizens fund the government year after year with no reliable basis for judging whether their money produced the outcomes that they were told it would. What a system.
Will the Jamaica Labor Party administration allow a system like this?
I I like the auditor general more. Is me read the comments.
Let me read the comments because I don't know me spirit the auditor general more. That is just me being honest.
I don't know. There's something about Let me read what the comments them say.
H I believe somebody say I believe she's influenced by Andrew.
Somebody Greek Jamaica said but Bruce might have been paid for that speech.
Very possible.
Somebody say she's a good lady. I don't know. Somebody said call her a good girl. I still think she's okay.
I think she's okay. I think she's okay.
But I I I I don't know why. I think I I appreciate the auditor general report um job more and that could be because the the the the outline the job outline is very different. As Greek Jamaica is saying J is very much different from the AG. the AG, she has more wiggle room to to audit um the the the books literally.
So she can reveal more from the government and can really and truly highlight the corruption and the misuse of of um the the the the the funds while J really looks at work ethics whether or not well even here as Greek is saying absenteeism how how the attendance of our politicians really look because you have some people who just they they are not they are not going to parliament as often.
It cannot be that you are elected to represent the people in parliament and you're hardly at parliament. So that those are the things that J looks into.
But this system that the um Bruce Golden is endorsing is a system that will now look at the promises made by our parliamentarians and what was not delivered, what is being um what is being what is ongoing and what you know those are the things that this new system will be looking into. Somebody's asking me can the auditor vote? Yes, she can. She has her democratic right. She has her constitutional right to vote.
I'm not sure if she votes. I don't know.
I think her job would require for her to be very very nonpartisan, but I'm pretty sure the auditor general may vote. I think she she she must have vote at this one time. This is my speculation. I think she has voted. I think she has voted. If it is even one time, right?
Who she vote for, we don't know. But you know the um labor rights will say that the auditor general is is is is PNP. You know the government is so you know they're so embarrassing.
Once you are doing your job once you're holding the government accountable you are a PNP. That is the logic of labor rights. You know, once you're seeking to hold the government accountable, you are an operative of the PNP. That is how people brand the Auditor General, you know, that is how the Jamaica Labor Party brand the Auditor General, you know, as an as a as a as a PNP operative. I I believe if the PNP was in government, the Auditor General would still be doing her job.
The Auditor General has a JOB TO DO.
I would prefer for the auditor general to be neither PNP nor JLP.
Just do your job because if the PNP was in power and the auditor general make some revelations, we have to have conversations about it and demand accountability, too.
So, it's just embarrassing that um the JLP, the Labor rights, they continue to brand people as PNP operatives. The Integrity Commission will have a job to do regardless of who is in government.
It's a disgrace.
I'm here in Greek Jamaica saying that J wanted the illicit enrichment people to be named. That is very good. I welcome that. We can't we they cannot be named up to this date. Why not?
Why not?
So corruption continues.
Corruption continues in this country.
But you know tomorrow at 6 p.m. we will have some more conversations. Remember, Clarion call returns on Monday at 300 p.m. It's a wonderful session where you can call in and we have conversations, meaningful conversations about the state of our country. Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for over 500 likes tonight.
Thank you for the super chat. Ladies and gentlemen, still feel free to support the super chat. All right, let us pray.
Father, we give you thanks for your mercies. We give you thanks for your grace. Thank you for today.
We give you thanks for bringing us this far. It could have only been you. When we look at what is taking place in our country, the hurricane season that is right at our doorstep. Lord, we pray for the people in the west. We pray for those in West Milan and over St. James, St. Elizabeth, those who are wondering what will happen next. those who are in limbo, those who have not received any aid. So many children, so many people are they are they are in a state of shock. They are still in trauma because of the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa. So many people are still wondering if this government will really step up and care for them. We pray Lord that you will be their guide. We pray Lord that you'll send help. Lord, we are encouraged when we saw the Red Cross going into Trilani and helping families directly. Lord, we are asking that you will inspire more organizations like Red Cross to step up to the plate and and take matters in their own hands because this government is very reluctant to help the people of this country. It is so sad and we don't know what will happen. the the experts have already predicted at least one to three hurricanes for this year.
What will happen to Jamaicans who are still under tarpolings? We heard the poem just now just echoing the sentiments of the seriousness, the gravity of the situation and the fact that this government wants to talk about everything else but the people who are still suffering in different places in this country. The Granville protests.
That is how I would love to brand it, but we don't see enough of them. The Granville protests. That is what we want to say when we refer to the protest.
These protests should be consistent and they should be having a greater representation. But the people are fearful and that is the truth. But Lord, I pray that you will give them a reassurance like never before. You promise to be with your people even to the end of this earth. Lord, cause the young men to rise up and to go out to take a stand to give them a boldness like John the Baptist. Help us, Lord, to see to it that we are our brother's keeper. We should never be like Cain whom murdered his brother's brother Abel. And when you ask for his whereabouts, he was so condescending in his response. Am I my brother's keeper?
Yes, we are our brother's keeper. Yes, we should be looking out for our fellow Jamaicans. Yes, the pain of our brothers and sisters. We should feel it because what happened in St. James was rather unfortunate and it was great injustice.
But Lord, we're looking to you for inspiration and we're looking to you for strength and for guidance.
Give us vision less we perish.
Be our light in this evil day. these and other mercies we ask in Jesus name.
Amen. And amen.
Well ladies and gentlemen, keep on praying.
Keep on believing God.
God is in control. And I believe in my heart that the best is yet to come. See you tomorrow at 6 p.m. Bye-bye.
Respective family.
Big up yourself every time. Par the general one with comrade.
The word is love.
Where we go do police off.
Where we are going do the price going up and the jail be let loose. Where we are going do times hard and politicians don't have a clue. Where we do we ever do time for trust and keep the faith to help us win this race. Poor people no food. All them see empty plate and the rich them getting richer burn up in the lake. Promises them make but fake but black love divide. Put politics aside, a time to reunite, a time to do the right.
We have to start by speaking truth and not the lie. Per set the trend. We have unite pressure and all work at all. We can't segregate.
We can't separate. Put aside pressure and all work nothing at all. We can't segregate. We can't separate. Put aside the water full of nothing.
Lightning and thunder help me.
Oh, corruption in the nation.
What a sticky situation.
All we see a degradation.
