[00:00:23]The Book of Kells is comprised of the four gospels from the New Testament of the Bible, illustrated and written out in Latin.

[00:00:30]A lot of scholars estimate that it was created in or around 800 AD, give or take a couple of years, and [snorts] there's some some out there that believe it could have taken as long as 75 years to complete the the manuscript.

[00:00:44]It's one of the oldest surviving manuscripts not only in Ireland, but in the rest of the world as well.
