Japan's primary concern during the Trump-Xi meeting was Taiwan, with relief that Trump did not make negative remarks about the region; however, Japan was also concerned about the G2 framework (US-China bilateralism) which could marginalize Japan's role in international affairs, as Japan prefers to maintain its position within the G7 alliance system rather than being excluded from major geopolitical decisions.

Japan’s View on the Trump–Xi MeetingAdded:
I don't know.
Hey guys, how's it going? It's me from Japan. Welcome back to my channel.
I'm live from Huka Prefecture, Japan.
How you guys doing?
Ah, I'm late again, but at least I'm feeling good.
That's the most important thing. So, let's just dive in. As you can tell from the title, I'd like to talk about uh the meeting of Trump and Shuin just posted on a social media. I mean, no ex about this live stream. Yo, hello. Hello from Israel. Wow. Hello.
How are things in Israel?
Are you safe?
How do you Oh, hello. Thank you so much for coming.
Hi. Hi.
big. So this is from Friday, right? Like the front page of Yomi Shimun the like the they sell the best in Japan. The second day uh Saturday it's reflected here right again. Trump senpai.
Yes. So that's a huge deal in Japan.
Yes.
This is a good picture. I am surprised by the first of all was Shiin being this tall like seriously like it's a serious question. How is he how is he is he taller? Did Trump shrink or did did he get taller or what is happening?
Because if you remember South Korean president wore like so-called secret boots before. I'm like, is she wearing one of those or I don't know. But for both countries, it was good. I I think uh that for both you the US and China the meeting was success successful and also from uh if I may say briefly uh Japan's perspective is that we were the like the most concerning things concerning thing for Japan was about Taiwan. So even though it's it's not like great but still like Trump didn't mention uh anything uh negative for the region you know because we all know uh China's stance uh regarding Taiwan and Trump didn't uh you know affect it so that was good you know and also uh we knew from the like before the ing the Trump Trump administration was showing that like making sure to let the world know that whatever Trump says the America's policies will not change. So that was interesting but that that's good that's relieving for us. So uh yeah that was great and yeah but one of the critical way that I heard is that you guys saw how Trump was asked by the press like when he was standing I don't know where that was it was outside Shinji Bing and Trump standing together and the press asked Trump about Taiwan like if there's any change or something like that I exactly remember the qu what the question was but and then Trump just ignored and I I personally thought it was good right because you don't want to touch on that especially on that in that occasion uh but some criticism here I heard a little bit was that uh Trump was supposed to show that he stands with Taiwan So, but I you know the premise is difficult. So, um yeah, just letting you know that there are perspectives like that here.
So, yeah, come right now. Oh, good. Good to hear.
I'm from Sweden. Hello. Thank you for coming. Greetings to everyone from the land of the living scars. Hello.
Good to see you. Making breads sounds delicious.
There is an Israel Israelian like the Israel foods like restaurants restaurant in Tokyo. I've been one of those and it was it was really good. Uh let's see.
Yes.
Still don't like Chinese government.
I'll see what our cooperation means here. Yay. Hello.
You go and on. Hello. Is Israeli is right. Yeah. Because in Japan, by the way, we call Israel Israel. So, the pronunciation is so diffic like different that it's confusing often. But uh anyway, I was relieved to see uh Marco Rubio with the delegation, you know. Uh so that that's like very re relieving seeing from Japan. Uh and uh the commentaries that come out of Rubio is always uh reaffirming, you know, uh about that that we know that things will not change. So that's good. At the same time though, what's the um the interesting take that I saw was where was that?
That you know the new uh where who wrote that? Oh yeah, this one here. Uh this is from yesterday Saturday. Oh, inside too there are pictures like this with color colored picture. It was interesting by the way that like I think this was this place that Shuji was like oh there's a like like you know the gap of the heights of where they walk. So like he was making sure that Trump doesn't fall.
I mean, if if Trump fell like on the ground or something, you know, by like while walking, that would make China look really bad, too. So, of course, he would do that. But so, here is a Tokyo University professor talking about China, right? And like how cautious they are about Taiwan.
And um in this article he said that the new term that I don't I didn't look it up though that but there's this new word like product if I may translate directly it's productive strategic stable relationship or something like that. there's a new term right that they uh they announced uh and uh that they like both the US and China agreed on this new relationship status and um but there's this word like stability or stable like being stable and so if they if if good it's good but at the same time this guy this professor points out that if you emphasize stability too much then China can blame uh Trump uh for you know if if the Taiwan situation occurs you know that if it becomes the Taiwan straight if it becomes unstable then China is going to blame Trump for breaking the stability if you know what I mean. So they intentionally chose that term probably.
So uh yeah let's see. Yes. So he says that if the stability is broken then uh that's the the logic is that it it means that Trump handled it wrongfully uh regarding Taiwan issues. That's the logic that China would want to use. uh after using this stability thing and then uh uh ti China can create uh favorable favorable uh situation with this. So yes. Oh super chat thank you Brian thank you good morning yo hope you are doing well. Yes thank you. I hate China because they are deceitful, shameless, and communist.
Yes, I'm with you. I mean, I I always make sure though to differentiate the Chinese government like CCP and the people because the people are fighting against CCP like not all of them. There are patriots too but you know there are democrats uh there and their democrats are good you know because they want to change the regime so that's that benefits us all so and freedom should be the common uh value in the world so strategy yeah but thank you but what was good about Trump though by the way Yeah. So Rubio went on NBC after uh the meeting and so he went on NBC on the 14th and uh and said in the interview by NBC that President Trump uh in the meeting on the 14th with Shiin Bing uh Trump referred to gosh I don't know how his name is written in English the, you know, the Apple Daily guy, the founder of Apple Daily. Uh he used to be uh the protester in Hong Kong and uh and the US wants him to uh wants him to be released from CCP.
So, and Trump talked about him in the meeting. So, that's really good. So, thank you as an agent.
Thank you. It's It's really really important.
Yes.
Another thing uh this guy by the way I don't know who he is but like economist from some like a finance guy and uh so below this professor there's this just finance person and there's the interview and he is referring to the productive strategic stable relationship or something like that and uh He uh he said that it's meaningful that uh they showed the policy or direction that they want to avoid uh avoid conflicts between the two countries.
On the other hand though in the meeting he says that uh we don't know if they talked about the leaders if if the leaders talked about rare earth and so yeah and said though that they will keep uh they will talk about AI and so on but Yeah.
Yes. What do you Oh, Jimmy Elro. I know his name, right? Like when I see that his name though in Japanese, it's so different that I I just lost it. Didn't know. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Oh, super chat. Thank you so much. Is that the is is real one?
Cool, cool, cool, cool. Thank you so much.
Finance, bro. your finance.
Trump, do you like oil? President she, you want to keep getting more of it, then you better play.
Uh, China depends their oil on export exports like 70%, right? And but they can get it cheap from Iran.
That's bad.
What else to talk about? This is from Oh, yeah. Uh, this one. But like I like newspaper uh when they uh illustrate things or my most favorite one is this one here.
Like see there's a picture of inside the meeting you know like how they sat you know like Trump is here the Chinese side is here and you see all the American delegation and then they show like oh like in this this is the table seats and you can see who sat where so I like this type of uh expl explanation so Yes, I know most of them.
I mean the American side, but I don't know this. Oh, this ambassador in China.
Here's a picture again. Lots of pictures. Oh, yeah. Rubio was sanctioned. Uh, but he safely got into China, so that was good, right? Um and but America doesn't know though whether his sanctions are lifted and China's foreign ministry though said that uh they didn't refer whether or not they lifted the sanctions against Rubio and but they did say that it was for Rubio while being a senator like it's the term of when he was a senator and also Rubio's like writing in Chinese changed I don't know the meaning of the Chinese language here but Rubio's rupart changed to another kanji like another character That's interesting.
So, yeah. Oh, and did you see that? Like I uh reposted that I mean quoted that on X, but uh when the American delegation left China before leaving, they just discarded everything like the pins and badges, budgies and everything that they had in China. They threw away and then returned to America because of security issues, you know, and you like America doesn't fully trust China. But it's the protocol I guess. Um so that's that's very smart I thought because Japanese people we we are not very highly conscious of stuff like that.
Let's see.
Thank you for your comments by the way.
I see them all. Yes.
New visa restrictions taking place already. What are you talking about?
Oh, speaking of visa, Japan's im immigrant situation is something I need to talk about too.
Do you think there is significance on the seat positions?
I think so, but but it's the regular things. But what was uh I was watching this conservative figure like big conser the show of a conservative figure in Japan like big one Yoshiko Sakurai and he she was uh talking about some things.
What was I going to talk about?
When I give like introduction I always forget what I was getting to. Um h I forgot what's Rubio's Japanese name just as it is. Dubio and Trump is to you got to just add some emphasis on the farwell dub.
Let's see.
We need a name of Marco Rubio addressed as a Chinese member.
New business visa regulations.
Are you talking about the labor visa or because the labor as for labor visa? I saw the coverage that because uh there are so many applications that they stopped uh the accepting applications for now is what I saw.
Where was that?
I saw it somewhere. I don't remember where.
But yeah, that's what I saw. Oh, well, maybe it's from today.
Know the labor one. Then I don't know because if you turn on TV here what all they talk about is uh this Iran situation and US China meeting and uh right now we are talking about the uh imperial household law.
Uh so it's about like our see our inferial this is about that but yeah so whether female uh uh what's the word for that like imperial family members whether or not they should continue doing their job like public like I mean offic uh I don't know how to say that like service whether or not to keep that and so on.
I don't know.
Uh let's see.
Trump review is becoming the president of every country except the US. Oh, I uh I I I saw that America is on the move to work on Cuba next. So, I'm interested in that.
I heard they had to change Mark Rubio's name on the documentation.
Oh, yeah. Yeah, the name. They changed it.
What do you think about the KBY potato ships bags losing their color?
Yeah, I saw the article that it is to save ink because you have a shortage of oil. Uh it's uh it's not that they're it's it is about that but it's not that they don't have ink right now. They do but they are just doing it for prevention of the future problem just to cut the post and so on for now.
Where was the picture for those who don't know what I'm talking about?
Let's see. Wait. I thought I I bookmark everything. So it's I should just search Kobe Kobe.
See Kalby Kalby or whatever is Kobe.
So this is from live door news. Then they have the picture here. So usually it's this color. this color right and it's like funeral so and we are I don't know like most people are just like a wow you know our reaction is like wow kind of cool but other people are uh worried worried because uh it's like before the war before the before stuff like this happen before some some war you know it happens so they're a little bit worried see like people associate like black and white as like this is like Buddhism thing and they just just generate it with AI.
Yeah.
and others are just thinking of like other kinds of uh packages and so on.
But I should get one of those soon just to show you guys in picture.
Yeah. Do you see any of that sort of move like a move in your country? Is Japan the only one?
You've seen it.
They make the trip soulless.
Yoko's American name is Yolo. Oh, that's a good one.
I thought it was because of the popularity of Godzilla minus color.
Interesting. When I was in the military, we always knew if we got steak and lobster, we have a really shitty coming up. Oh, interesting.
Wait, is does that mean that whatever you're going to do is dangerous that it could be your last meal or something.
They didn't mention him by name. Rubio.
Let's see what else. Like I I think I I have a feeling that like I I should tell you like Japanese perspective. like did they say all the talking points?
Uh well this is Sunday Sunday newspaper don't have much information.
So but yeah this front page by the way it's about Taiwan or selling weapons uh if America is selling weapons to Taiwan or not. That's our concern you know. So also, oh, I need to talk about this. The G2 comments by Trump G2. He said that, right? And that is actually really bad for countries like Japan. Uh because it's important to balance things out like we don't want to we I think that our ideal is just like before, you know, America as top of the free world.
America is a leader but there are like G7 countries and we are always with the US and we are support we are there to support the US and we get to be involved in the decisions made by the US or the free world in general against the authoritarian regime side like China and Russia. We want to be involved, you know. We don't want America and China to just decide, you know, because we matter. We are important too. We have human rights and we are there to always support the US. You know, it it might work well. A G2 thing is could be good for America when America is strong. But politics you never know what happens in the future. You know you can never be sure that you will be always winning. So you need your friends with you and you know how China is. China is dangerous.
So you got to make sure that you have all the cars meaning like other G7 countries. So that's that's G2 comments commentary by Trump is discussed in Japan a lot. Uh so and it's seen very negatively. So I hope that Trump changes that you know like he doesn't like we know that he thinks like that because he's he likes to make deals you know it's easier just to talk to the opponent but politics is a little uh complicated.
you know it it it doesn't go like real estate. So at the same time though uh let's see it's this editorial is saying though that Trump is kind of stuck to the because because of rare earth and so on very I'm actually I started to read a book uh written by like yin uh reporters and because I need to be sure like I I I want to make sure that I follow everything you know regarding Trump administration and so it's about Trump but the premise of the book is actually that like from what I can tell they think that Trump is the bad guy you know like the depiction is that Trump Trump is bad and that's the pre premise and it's so hard for for me to read because it's too much op like it's opinionated too much, you know. Uh for me like the newspaper it's okay because they don't really show opinions. They just lay out uh facts and then a bit of description or narrative but in the book like I didn't expect them to be that anti-Trump.
So, but I'm going to read it though. You got to know, you got to learn what they are thinking.
Let's see anything else. Where's super chat?
I would like a super chat. A beautiful people. Hello. Thanks for coming as always.
Uh higher gas prices. Either it's dangerous or it's going to be a long and hard mission of both. Oh, interesting.
That's so interesting.
But at least the when you served, they were thoughtful for you to encourage you.
Cool.
Let's see what else to talk about.
This is from Oh, lots of pictures. I'm going to just show you pictures how it's reported here. Uh, Japanese people are kind of like weirdly out of like Chinese kids jumping and so on just like North Korea, you know. So, it was Yeah. And then that picture.
Oh, here another picture.
Oh, by the way, I uh I heard this Japanese expert on American election.
Uh like he's he's a he's a libertarian, Mr. Watas. He was talking about uh how it's actually like he doesn't view the midterms as pessimistic as most do because he talked to many Republican related people in America and yeah he was explaining the situation. I was thinking like, oh, Republicans would lose, you know, in the midterms, but it's it might not be like that. So, that's that was interesting to hear.
Any other anything else? Oh, super chat. Thank you, Granberry. A super chat for you.
Thank you. I appreciate it. By the way, I bought this new clothes. It's It's fast fashion, though. Probably made in China. I didn't even check.
But I I got like I realized like I don't have like decent clothes anymore, you know? Like I keep using uh old clothes.
I mean, wearing old clothes. So, I wanted to update. I got like this and two other pieces.
And I realized though like I got those three pieces in at the price of most people buy for one.
Still it was expensive for me.
So I would appreciate your super chat.
G2 concerning G2 man that's bad.
But yeah, what else? What else? What else? I think I tried like this time I uh left like red mark on where I wanted to talk about but I think I already talked about those.
Anything else? What what's what's going on in your country? Oh, Japan by the way. World Cup World Cup members.
I think this is Yeah, our soccer players.
So, it's exciting.
I think if it was actually on the phone page somewhere.
Oh, yeah. Here.
This is from yesterday and they are showing that see world cup this this means world cup.
World Cup uh like uh the players 26 decided and you see the people and uh Japan became really strong by the way but still like we are probably like 18th and like if you rank it like the strength in the or I don't know how you call it in soccer but yeah it's usually uh let's see yeah 18th or so and then are we going to fight Dutch or oh yeah with Holland the first matches with Holl against Holland and then others from there it's not as strong but yeah oh super again thank you so much you have really nice makeup here, girl. It always looks good. Thank you. I try.
I try. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
It's okay. Japan's still better than Italy because Italy didn't make it to the World Cup. Oh, I thought it Italy is really strong though.
They didn't make it. Wow. What a world we live in.
Came in late, but I heard right after the Trump meeting in the first person Trump called is Taki. Oh, I have to tell you about that. Thank you for reminding me. That signifies how Trump's position with Japan and Taiwan is unchanged. Yes.
From Air Force One and Trump called Takai. Thank you for your cooperation, you know, and communication, close communication between Japan and the US.
That means a lot. Like we never take it for granted. Japanese people do not take it for granted. So it's uh really amazing.
So thank you guys. Um, and Takai avoided to give details though, but of course like that was the promise with Trump not to talk about the details, but she was allowed to tell the world that he called from Air Force One. Some people in Japan were saying like he she shouldn't disclose where he was, you know, at the time and so on, you know, like being on the plane, like you shouldn't say that and blah blah blah.
But I think it was intentionally politically uh shows showed, you know. And by the way, regarding the did you see the uh meme of Shining Shining's chair being taller than Trump, right? And then somebody, this is a Hong, this guy I think he uh talks about Hong Kong and human rights, but he posted it this picture like this.
It's really funny because that that that's the impression that you get, right? Like she should be like really higher than Trump. But then um others by the way re remembered in Japan that G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G20 took place was it in which year was that 2019 or I don't know somewhere around there and AB was the host of G20 in Japan in Osaka and there were there were Shaing Putin oh no not Putin Putin was Putin there uh Trump And no G20 is without I don't know but you see this this is Japanese school type of sitting you know everybody like looking like a kind of normal you know AB is in the center and she is sitating like this. This is actually the same kind of uh I'm sitting on here like this. This is a regular this I just have cushion here but regular chair in Japan you know pipu piped chair and that's what they're sitting in.
Nothing special just regular chair.
So maybe it's not pipe though. Maybe it's Yeah, I see the wooden thing, but we just we are just generally calling it like Thai pie suit. So that's funny that how we treated all the leaders.
Not special at all.
Yeah.
See, Japan better. Okay. Do Japanese teams often play the European teams? Yes. And I think the Japanese soccer players, they actually belong to some of the European teams because they are really good and they go uh play like it's a status, you know, like a good it means that they are good. But as for soccer though, like European teams are strong and the South Americans are really good at that too. And it's like it's crazy. I had a like my when I was a university student uh my exchange student friends were playing soccer often and this Colombian chick she was really really good. I think she was from Colombia like somewhere from there you know like really really good like among the guys like she had no problem and we were like what Let's see. To be fair, even if everyone knows where Air Force One is, that thing is that thing is an absolute flying fortress.
I bet. I bet. That's good to hear.
Plus, like, yeah, of course, like they have uh raiders and also the material I bet are different like the what is it called? beast the the the vehicles that president US president rise it's really the like if you see the door doors it's really thick and everything right yeah hello from Germany hello thanks for coming when you watch the video Trump asked to remove his cushion and on the chair and that made him look like he was shorter I know I saw that I uh I saw that on the news in Japan and I was just you know as we do every day with my husband. I was checking the news on TV and I saw like we saw Trump like getting rid of the cushion and we were like oh no like it's a and then Trump is like and uh we were like no Trump got small and I'm like oh no that was cute though it was kind of cute I also saw Trump like checking the like there was some some booklet or paper or something and he was it's it's like checking and it was really funny. I don't know what he was speaking in. Was it the menu or is it the secret note of Sining? I don't know. But that was interesting to see.
Yeah, the beast. Yes, the president is always riding with enough weapons to probably fight a small country just on their own. That's a good point. Probably a pleasure, Yoko. I hope your colitis is okay. Yeah, I think dream good actually.
Uh I went to a doc for another kind of doc recently and he gave me uh like a eastern not the western eastern medicine which brings up my temperature and you know like my blood and water circles like circulates better or something like that. And since then, like it's it's not meant for that for my colitis, but it's it's working well for me. Yes, it's what what is Taki's car's name? Is it famous, too? Yeah, it is famous, but I'm not a car. I don't know much about cars, so I don't actually remember.
What was it?
I don't remember.
But she recently though she uh from a supporter I think she got like a small model or like a mini is it called miniature uh like somebody made her car the exact model and everything and she was happy to receive it and she posted a picture of that too.
Trump also moved his cup closer to him.
H interesting. Trump, you know, if I was in the position of Trump, then I would be very like a what's so intimidated. I I would be intimidated. But Trump is such a rich man and he's been in the fields for so long that he's used to everything, right? Like he doesn't get intimidated by others. So uh it's interesting to see how like at home he is everywhere anywhere he goes. Yeah.
For that though like as for the meeting sometimes uh his facial expression was not as relaxed especially compared to Shishining. So Japanese people are reading into it. our our critics and uh experts, they were saying that Trump's expression was kind of uh tense.
A figure, okay, figure.
Even cars are figures. In Japan, when we call figures, it's usually people or characters.
I think if cars I think I would call mini or I don't know I need to learn geeky words.
Okay. Anyway, if I don't receive a super chat, I will go in 15 minutes.
Where are my sponsors?
I'm I know I I came late.
I know, but I was reading, you know, making sure that I know what I'm talking about. So, yes.
Oh, yeah. The phone call is written here. By the way, this is from yesterday. So the sec reflecting the second day of the meeting and there's a Taiwan thing you know weapon selling weapons and then Takai uh phone call phone call meeting with Trump is it's written here.
Yes.
Anything else?
I think I talked about Yeah.
And by the way, nuclear power plants.
They are talking about how to do the maintenance and you know the exams sometimes to make sure that it's you know working functioning well for security reason or safety reasons. So uh and then they are saying like uh they used to stop the nuclear power plants when they uh do the examination and so on but they want to do what's so called OM online maintenance is what they they want to do now. So yeah there's that.
Oh, and also like I by the way I uh I want to post post a lot on X but oh it's actually a false like you know you can't post too much on X or else you will be invisible basically on X because you would be thought uh like people would think that you are bot like X changed the algorithm and it's kind of annoying like you can't really use it anymore like why do we the like human users why do we have to change what we do for those malicious people who take advantage of of the you know the the bots and saying the comparison of this is funny.
Who's winning anyway? Oh, super chat. Thank you so much, Avatar Jude. Is the Iran situation causing gasoline problems in Japan? Yes, but not really. Like, I think it's stable. Like there are anxiety in Japan but from what I can tell it's not like rising because the government is handling it. They are giving aids you know financial aids uh to support that.
So I don't think they are rising. I don't drive a car. I don't drive cars.
So uh I don't know like I don't even have a driver's license. I'm a little like ignorant when it comes to gasoline and so on.
But yeah, but we constantly talk about uh gas like ga gas prices and also uh just plastic things in general because it in order to produce plastic things in Japan of course uh we need oil and so we are rather talking about since the gas prices are okay for now anyway I think we we will be okay for the year at least. Um so we we are really hoping that everything will get settled you know within the year. Uh we have we have the oil prepared for that period. So, but uh as for the plastics though that as we were talking about earlier uh this uh like chips company, you know, the the company that makes chips, I mean I mean like potato chips uh they changed the package color to black and white so that they can cut down the cost and uh or or resources or whatever. And also uh yeah some some changes are happening you know in order to like this spaghetti company for example like pasta company uh they have like when you the before you boil the spaghetti or pasta what like past spaghetti right and then you have a little thing that's binding right and then it will show like oh two minutes you got to boil for 2 minutes, 3 minutes, 9 minutes, whatever.
And the ink was used there and they they stopped to print that how many minutes and so on there and just it's a blank um paper now. So a little like small changes are happening and we don't care though much uh as for like customers don't really care but it it is it does like a symbolizes the situation in the world politics or global politics. So yeah, nuclear nuclear power plants are really important in the best form of of energy.
My government has been super stupid for exiting nuclear. I know you're like your country is like Japan. Our leftists are so crazy that like they think that nuclear power plants are dangerous due to uh the the accident uh in Fukushima. You know when the big earthquake hit F Hukushima uh it the water reached in the it's it was not the earthquake it was the water that got into the battery like yeah tsunami got there and uh it was not the earthquake itself but they went crazy and they because of them we had to stop all the nuclear power plants. Kishidan administration works so hard that now many of our power plants are back but still it's not enough and it's it's like we are dropping money every day you know so much money what's that's one of the biggest as big one of the biggest aspects in Japan that our economy is bad so like yeah but leftists always want to damage Japan because they think that Japan is a bad country.
They want to end Japan in the way we are today and have a revolution and then start all over. That's what they want.
So, stupid people. But as for Germany though, yes.
And it's silly that you got you need to get uh electronicity I think from France and also gas from Russia.
You need cheap energy. Yeah. And what's great about nuclear power plants is that it's actually eco-friendly, right? So like environmental leftists, like environmental activists, they should support nuclear pop once, but they never do. So it's it's silly.
5.95.
I think in Japan it's like one 60 yen or so. I don't know.
Russia, no. France and Poland and Norway. Okay.
Yeah.
But yeah, Germany example is actually used in Japanese conservative uh discourse because discord because uh you know like you stopped using nuc nuclear power plants in your country and then you had to use from France and so that became the example here. The leftists want to stop our nuclear power plants and we are like oh look at Germany you know because they can't sustain it. So that's a actually a good example for us.
Yes.
What else to talk about?
Super chat. Super chat. No more super chat. Man, I'm going to be broke because I used the money this month to buy clothes. And like I I'm kind of getting tired of like not renewing things, you know? Like sometimes in life I have that face. The last time was in 2020 and a bit before 2020. But like sometimes I I'm like I want to I want new things like I used uh all the things for too many years you know like all the not electronic devices and uh appliances and clothes. I need to make money. I should make videos probably.
Plastic toy dinosaurs are made from real dinosaurs. No.
No way.
I love dinosaurs. By the way, um my husband and I, we love dinosaurs. And we learned that T what T-Rex stands for.
Like we were wondering where the Rex came from, but it was actually like what?
>> Tyrannosaurus Rex because we in Japan we call T-Rex Tyrannosaurus. So only the first part of the name. So we never knew about Rex.
So why is it T-Rex? Like tea, we get it.
But Rex, where did it come from? You know, it's tyrannyosaurus.
But then we learned it's tyrannosaurus.
Rex, I learned Rex is Latin for king. That's interesting. Uh I learned the dinosaur named Ankos.
Ankilo or Anyro? and Kilo Sour because I'm watching the I mean I already finished all the seasons but I'm re-watching with my husband because it's the first for him and I'm watching the war Jurassic is it Jurassic World or Yeah, Jurassic World survival mission and it's probably meant for kids but it's fun. So I assume most people in Japan are liberals from right and left. Only a few el eros from the far left or far right.
Majority of Japanese people are culturally conservative and politically a little like center left. politically and historical recognitions a little center left. Uh but because of over tourism, you know, many foreign visitors from outside, it's causing a lot of damages to our local safety and peace in general and uh yeah and garbage trash everywhere. So we are getting tired of it. So especially young people who consume online content they are seeing the kind of what's the word like agitating videos of from the far right here the immigrants are doing this to Japan right and so a lot of young people watch that sort of content and then they turn into right wings and so that's the direction so older people. So what in Japan the division that we have is not like America or or the west that which you usually see the old generation are somewhat the same and right and left but in Japan it's older people tend to be left leaning toward left and the younger generation tend to be on the right side because younger generation like around my age or younger especially They grew up with Abbe administration and Abbe of course was conservative and um he was a good leader in general. Um so uh back then it was a little different but today looking back uh people probably uh think of him as you know even his ideology was good because the time is changing and our recognition like historically and politically we are it's changing. So uh yeah it's uh we are we are coming more like on the right side and what was diff you know separating people like uh from the right side was the was the recognition about uh national security leftist what it means to be leftist in Japan is to first of all to think negatively about the World War II. I mean think negatively about Japan during the World War II that they have this apologetic uh attitude.
Uh because we lost the war, right? Like they want to demonize Japan back then to start a new country or something like that. So they have that sort of historical recognition. Another thing is that uh they don't want to because it's war guilt you know just like white guilt in America we have war guilt and with war guilt what it means is that we don't want to expand our military forces you know we have to be small and non-militarilistic so that we will not invade any other country or we will not cause any militarilistic problems to the region Ian and blah blah blah. So that's what leftists want to think. And those who have like guilt imprint like even more strongly, they just hate Japan. So they want to destroy Japan like Japanese tradition and so on. But today though, at least like over the decade or two, you know, China's threat is becoming real in our region. So people with common sense people with common sense can just see what's going on that ch China like if especially wiger situation you know eastan people uh they are put in the conc concentration camps and also Hong Kongers the young Hong Konger people they were fighting for democracy but they got swallowed by CCP led China and we are people today in Japan we are seeing So even if and also the war in Ukraine, Russia invaded uh they're trying to invade into Ukraine and we are all seeing that and we see the people fighting back and Japanese people tend to side with victims.
So uh also we don't like aggressors like expansionist we don't like them. Um, so at least the modern people, you know, because that's the premise that it's not like before we back in the day people like countries would fight over territories and in order to protect you had to uh push your front line as far as you can. But today it's not like that.
We are living in the post war post World War II order. So uh the premises are different. But anyway, so leftists, even leftists now are learning that it's important to have military power, you know, as a as a nation because other countries are have that too. And in order to make our region safe, you need military power to fight back or to deter because we can see what has happened in Hong Kong or Wigger or Ukraine. So even like the leftists today like moderate leftists in Japan are now uh learning to be a normal leftist you know the moderate leftists in America we didn't have that sort of leftists before all the leftists back like until recently they were all anti-war anti-defense forces and anti- uh constitution revisionists No, I mean they didn't want to change the constitution which prohibits us from having military forces and so on. Today there are different kinds of leftists.
So that's a good move or shift.
Yeah. Same in Germany, right? Yeah.
Yeah. Just weird. But Germany at least like you you blamed Hitler and then just all the blame goes with Hitler. You just he's the bad guy and then changed your constitution and moved on. But Japan couldn't do that, you know, like because we don't see it like that, you know. Uh and so because of that we haven't been able to revise our constitution even at once you know uh even yeah so we always actually use again use Germany as an example like oh look what Germany did you know Germany moved on Japan hasn't why that has been the discussion for decades now finally things are changing you Natural disasters have been crazy over the past decade or so and for that too we need to revise our constitution not only military forces stuff but also like natural disaster like emergency article is is we need that. So yeah and there are some discussions also regarding constitution revising constitution in Japan is that some people think that oh first just let's just try to like we need the experience of changing the constitution a little bit like just once to test kind of like a test it out you know like we've never done it before so let's do it and then the second time we can do more political stuff, political re revision. Some people think like that.
others like me for example like I don't think that's realistic that we don't have like our the in order to change our constitution there are many like stages that we need to clear and that because America didn't want us to change the constitution back then that's why it's really tough to change it um and right now taki is super strong but it doesn't happen often.
So, uh we got to make sure that when we do we we do it in the way we want to like 100%. So, yeah.
Did you talk about the BBC headline on Trump on Taiwan? Feels like the headline is manipulated, manufactured.
No, I didn't. I haven't seen the BBC headline. What did they say?
What did they say?
Maybe I should search on X VC. What's wrong?
This this who are you with BBC trauma? The ones that are being sued now for5 billion dollar you would BBC there another fake outfit.
What happened?
I don't I'm not following that.
Oh, super chat. Thank you so much. I'll be in Hukoka next month for two days.
Cool. Where are you going to go in Hugoka?
There are many many places to visit actually. Oh, by the way, Daifu Shrine where my husband and I had a wedding at. Uh it's really hot there.
Uh I talked about natural disasters but like the season in Japan used to be four season as most of the places you know but today it's only of we often say now like starting from last year or the year before it's like only two seasons. It's winter and summer.
It's really like summer right now. in May. It was like you you would need a jacket today. I'm like I'm like half sleep today, but I was wearing like tank top the other day or when I go to sleep it's like tank top like it's so hot here.
Crazy hot. It's all of a sudden usually in Japan it's how it's supposed to be is that so winter and then spring comes and then rainy season comes around June to July and then summer you know uh after the rain of like it's like kind of dooming you know it's really dark but then and it's really humid and then the summer comes like yes it's already summer it's Crazy.
Does it rain a lot? Usually. Oh, wait.
So, you're going to come in July?
Wait, what? When is it? Next month. Oh, no. Next month. Okay. June. Usually, it rains heavily, but I don't know. I have no idea about the weather today.
It's same in Korea. When I showed up, they said they pro Friday proed themselves on the four district season, but when I visit there, it was only crazy hot or crazy cold, right? It's crazy.
And some people say that it's due to global warming, but who knows what's the cause of it? Because the earth is alive.
In my opinion, the earth is just alive.
is there's some energy in the center of the earth and it's do it does things does things you know because could emissions and so on really affect this much like I don't know I need to be friends become friends with experts at many genres that would be cool I just you you almost stopped my heart with super ch out of nowhere. Thank you so much, Raider. Thank you.
Thank you.
I'm going to cry. Thank you. Thank you so much for making my day. Thank you.
I I easily cry uh getting older, you know.
Thank you so much for your support.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you. Thank you. When I say thank you now, I remember fans. By the way, have you said thank you. Thank you.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Yes. I'm gonna sleep well today.
For me, by the way, it's so hard for me to fall asleep. I was up until like I think 3:30 or 4 this morning, too. I It's so hard to fall asleep for me.
More clothes now, Yoko.
Hopefully. But no, I uh I skipped one time.
Was it this month? Yeah. And then I bought clothes. So that's probably minus. So yeah, I gotta kind of save. I think physics does things. Yes, exactly. But you know, maybe we are all like Yoda because nowadays we hear that everything is energy. I mean if you look into the particles of us like if if you go to narrow down like cells and everything and it becomes at the end like you it's just energy and it's crazy and some people nowadays in the field you know they say that uh like the world is actually a hologram you know and also there's the concept of multiverse even have you heard of multiverse it's so fascinating it's uh I feel like that there there basically there are like so many paral paral worlds you know like a bunch not just one earth and the other like many many every single second.
That's what I hear. It's so interesting.
Now Yoko cannot complain next week either.
I remember when the Dalai Lama became a meditist.
He said, "Thanks a lot." Oh, was it a time like that?
Did you see the Jubilee Trump video with JD saying you didn't say thank you?
No, I don't think I've seen that. I don't like I I've seen a Jubilee version of something like regard it did include Trump and Abbe and so on, but I don't I don't remember. By the way, I was actually talking to my husband about this, but like Vance is supposed to be the the you know the the main candidate for the next president, right? But from the Republican side, but I was just telling my husband earlier that Vance impression isn't that strong. The only impression that I have of Vance is have you said thank you, you know, or that on social media Van's face becomes bigger and bigger. That's the impression.
On the other hand, Marco Rubio, he's everywhere on X and we like on on the news too, we talk about Rubio all the time, at least in Japan. But Vans like the uh the presence of Vance is not very strong for some reason. And that's interesting because when you think back uh like when I think about the first administration, Mike Pence, he his presence was strong, you know, he's he just stood out in a good way back then at least. Um but today, Vans is not like that. So that's interesting.
Yoko, hello. Thanks for coming.
Yay.
Yes.
There also solar cycles affecting our climate a lot. Oh yeah. Has to do with the sun activity as well as the angle between the sun and earth orbit.
Interesting man.
when I was watching so I was my husband and I we've been watching this anime Jurassic World Survival Mission or something like that and then also there's this like documentary type of dinosaurs you know uh and it's Morgan Freeman as a narrator and we were we finished the last episode of that version. We love dinosaurs.
So, we watched that and I uh I saw the them talking about how the why is it called the the not the planet but like the fraction fraction just it came to the earth and how it affected affected the earth. It's it was so scary but like it's like you rethink about everything after seeing that because like how big was it you know to affect the earth like I mean it hit hit the earth and then there was so much heat and then so much clouds and blah blah blah and yeah crazy.
Anyway, Rubio is shining through. Yes.
And I'm glad that there's a red red superchar shining on my screen. Yay.
Rubio is ascending fast. The betting markets have pushed Rubio ahead of fans.
Oh, ding markets. Oh, you mean like kind of like lottery kind of like I know that in America you guys have the betting thing, but it's actually illegal here.
So, like if you do it online, I mean that's interesting.
Oh, that's a blind spot for Japanese people. We don't have that here, so we don't think about it. That's so interesting.
By the way, it is so hot in even in our place that I have a fan here if you're wondering. I have it here.
So it's that hot in terms of conflict. The foreign minister is way more active than the vice president. I don't do I don't remember Pence standing out in politics issues really because he was he was giving uh a lot of statements and also his commentary will be used in the news a lot. I would see Pence's face a lot here at least on Japanese TV. Uh, but Vance, I never see Vance and I uh I think I I would have a better impression of Vance if he shaves his face. I don't like his bearded face.
It's just not doesn't look good. So, and like I I don't know. It's it's it's the instinctive thing I think like oh I I'm like oh I like Marco Rubio but so I'm really hoping Rubio will be the candidate or else I'm going to have a hard time. Um I I I'll somehow do do it though to support but yeah asteroid. Oh yes, that's the word. Vance is more active in the states. Oh, true.
It is not uh it is not it is business to be involved in foreign policy at this point. Rubio has a lot of present because he is secretary of state. Oh yeah yeah yeah. I know what you mean.
Yeah.
Still though, I'm just comparing what with like when Pence was around.
Maybe Pence was just talking about foreign matters more and Vance is just concentrating on his job maybe.
And um and Pence was like very very Christian, very very religious.
And that just stood out somehow.
Maybe because Japan was covering America like we were trying to analyze America and Pence was a key person. Maybe Vans too kind of stands out when they talk about you know what's the word belts and so on. But no, Kim, both Kim Clement's daughter and Troy Black say God wants Rubio for president. Who are those people?
But that's interesting. Yeah. Whenever Christianity b you know becomes together with politics is really powerful politically.
Seek Jesus as a mighty lord and savior.
Only in him do we have the truth life love and purpose.
Somehow young western men are obsessed with betting on things. It is good as good if Japan doesn't have that.
I mean you you'll be super easy ma money, right?
Yeah.
I there was, you know, I used to play games and back then I would go visit like um my friends stream, you know, just like Twitch, you know, we have our own service and I would go visit and they would show their screen of their phone, you know, like they would be streaming from their phone and I would see their phone and then they would open like the online casino type of thing and then one one guy was actually using the American up, I think. And then he was saying like, "Oh, there's, you know, what's funny is that there's a bitting thing of the presidential race and blah blah blah." He was saying that he was, you know, happy about the application, but then I had to tell him like, "Hey, it's illegal to do online casino in Japan."
And then since then like he kind of you know put a distance like a like he distanced himself from me I guess. I mean it doesn't he wants to probably he won't probably wanted to continue playing that but yeah but after that like after after that after a year or so I think or two uh Japan started to catch people who do uh online casino and big figures like TV TV personality and so on they will get caught so I'm pro he's probably shaking You know, it's it's so weird that we can uh access what's illegal.
But I think America just knows how to embrace capitalism.
like you guys. I wish I had that sort of sense that Japanese people tend to do things volunteerly and also we have the at least like older generation, you know, including around my age, you know, um we tend to sacrifice ourselves for the public. That's our traditional culture.
So it's really hard to make money as if like it's almost bad to make money or something as much you learn here.
It's funny.
I'm not going to read because I don't want to offend Christian people.
But thank you though. It's really funny.
Pence looks like he came out of an anime. He does like he he does look very typical.
Poly markets are the two popular ki and poly markets are the two popular betting markets. Interesting that Japan doesn't have betting. I guess Yakuza have the whole betting markets in Japan.
Maybe maybe that's the case.
Yeah, yeah, I think we do have some betting like you know horse race and I don't know we and also we have this thing called pachinko like I don't and slots too but like some ping pong not ping pong but like some ball goes through the machine and I I I don't see the fascination of that because you just lose your money, but some people like it uh because sometimes there's a hit. But so we we do have some things, but like doing it online is somehow illegal and Japan cares a lot about like uh the the ethical side of things, you know. So in order to you know there use foreigners as our income source it was a big like we we we used to have a big debate whether or not we build we build a huge like gigantic casino place like LA for example uh because then people like rich people from other countries will come to Japan and bet and that would be But but many of us opposed to that Rubio I'm cautious on due to his past being a rhino. Yeah. But Vans too, he was against Trump before.
But I guess that's a little different.
Yeah. But I I haven't known about Rubio, you know, that their husband, for example, uh as for the 2016 race, uh remember that lady Miss >> giraffe.
Shalafily. Miss Gilafley.
He she passed away. But uh yeah, the she was accusing Rubio for being a traitor.
to the conservative people that like I remember that some some kind of immigration policy, right? So I know that sentiment, but yeah, I'm of course I I'm always coming from the Japanese perspective. So in Japan we like somebody that is really familiar with the region and um yeah and then our standpoint of course is different because conservatives in the US don't want to really middle in to other countries issues. Uh but as for other countries like Japan and me there we want more involvement. So yeah I am hungry.
These Americans come to Japan to stream and promote online gambling which is illegal.
What about influence?
That's what makes me want to pence gave mega church pastor energy. Ah yeah true like but Pence used to do some like radio right like that's how he became bigger because I didn't see him like that. So that was interesting when I learned pachinko is a game of chance. How can you bet on a bouncing metal balls? Never understood. I don't know how I don't know any other country that has pachinko parlors. Maybe Korea.
By the way, those pachinko stuff it's owned a lot of the times it's owned by Koreans. I hear that after the World War II, Koreans occupy like really good places like in front of stations and so on because things were chaotic and they knew how to survive.
They occupy like they got the land they wanted and then they uh started to have that sort of business and then send the money back home through there and so on.
And that's why Japanese conservatives often see it negatively.
Yeah. So Korean people come to Japan to do pachinko.
Some of them come here and then it was a problem because the pachinko places were sending money to North Korea.
I'm Christian, but I'm very critical of people claiming to know they know what God wants. I was uh but that kind of reminds me that there's this like kind of like law of attraction guy like really young 20 early 20 or maybe he's 20 like this kid that became really rich rich uh at an early age and it's interesting because it's like what kind of occasion is that you know so I'm interested uh in what he says and I watch his videos sometimes times, but he was talking about Christianity that um he read the Bible like in details and that he was he claims he's not Christian, but he's kind of Christian, you know, like he he's he says he's no Christian, but then he un like he does believe in God though and then he is offended by the people who takes bi the Bible lit literally. So that's like that's more Christian than Christian. I I thought you know that young people some young people are passionate like that in America and being successful successful in the cap capitalism system. And I saw a little or a big hope there, you know, that how young people are really like um you know coming from especially like those who come from difficult environment you know their parents are abusing drugs or domestic violence whatever they the kids some of them just have the the American dream come true and it's always fascinating when I see that. Oh, super chat. Thank you. How was your view on the meeting? I don't I didn't like it.
We need to decouple from China. Really don't like the 500,000 students coming.
That's a lot. Um yeah, I don't know. Chi, China is always a risk. So, personally, it's the meeting was not not good or bad, you know.
nothing bad happened. So that was good for me. But then if you look in detail, uh there are some things that you could complain and I talked about it earlier.
But yeah, but as for America, uh what's different between Japan and America is that China wants to take Japan, you know, but as when they confront America, that's like they want to be replaced with America. They want to take the position of America. So the level you know of espionage and manipulation and all that kind of kinds of things are really really different you know like you see so many Chinese spies in America getting caught and there are you know uh I see politically too that they are they have all the like traps happening. So, by the way, I'm a little distracted by my husband cooking.
He's cooking something right now.
Oh, so distracting in in many ways.
Oh, super chat. Thank you so much. I went from having my water turned off because I couldn't make payments to making well within six six figures.
American dream is awesome. What? What did you do?
Yeah, but the water turn off. I know that feeling.
Been there.
It's It's in Japan, you know, our economy is okay. You know, like I I keep saying like economy is bad, but like it's it's good, but like generally people have problems because our taxation is high.
Uh so it's kind of tough, but man, that's amazing.
Joined the military and I'm an engineer.
Wow, really smart.
>> That's awesome. I I should uh get a skill myself. There's a thing or program in Japan now that the government is pushing of re reskilling reskilling >> my husband says it doesn't mean anything but yeah like because like our generation you know there are many people with like good brain you know like we we are actually capable but me or a little bit above like my husband's age, you know, like around 50 or so now, like those people, that generation was economically challenged. And even if they graduated from good universities and so on, there were no jobs available or they would like even if they're highly skilled and so on, they wouldn't be able to get a job. So people around that age you know today they still are working in a poor environment you know so they are there's a and then uh now the population is shrinking in Japan so um the government's idea is to use the human resources so now there's a concept of reskilling and some people do that but it's it's not as strong as it becomes the engine of the country of course. So but yeah me personally my English ability is okay but not good enough to take advantage of that. So many people tell me that I should teach English or or maybe teach Japanese but then my knowledge is like somewhere in between and it is difficult investing.
Oh I see.
Is your husband cooking something? Yes.
Oh, maybe he made some for himself.
It's what's interesting about my husband is that he didn't cook before and after he got married with me, I taught him some basic stuff, you know, and then also he started to uh, you know, prepare some meat or fish and so on because it's easy, right? So he does that sometimes and now he cooks a little bit but only the things that he likes.
I mean everybody's is the same I guess but like as for him like he likes what he can drink with and so on like really manly things.
I'm getting hungry because of him.
Uh, I also do investing with my spare money. Wow, cool. I wish I had a good understanding of like the economy and how to use the money, you know. In Japan, by the way, we don't learn about investment, investment, and so on. Is it true that you guys learn in school?
uh Japanese people like we don't have stock we don't have like stocks or anything most of people you know but now though Kishidan administration because of the concerns that we are not going to get as much pension money as we hoped you know like we gave a lot of money to the country and they are supposed to save it and give us but it doesn't work like that and they're not saving they're using it And then they will all lot it later when we are older you know when we are like like 65 or something. Um but then the go you know what if the population shrinks then we will not have as money as much money. So then the government is like oh you got to save by yourself and then we are now we we now do soal nissa and uh it's a investment but you don't really have to do by your own you just give the certain money and then some experts will do it for you kind of thing and yeah can you be a translator or an interpreter or some sort That requires another skills because speaking is one thing but translating is another thing.
Like trans in order to become a translator you need to learn the basic of doing that and then you need to learn both languages again. And also you got to practice your practice like uh so-called like shadowing you know when like the training that I see sometimes is like for example you watch some kind of uh English content and then you follow you say the same thing like right after you hear it and I don't know like I mean you know discipline is everything in life and you need to train yourself sometimes. But I'm like, I got to find the most efficient thing.
But I'm looking for efficient things and only times goes by. And yeah, maybe I should I need to decide something.
Man, I am so hungry. For AI, you need to make 1,923 a week to hit six figures annually.
Whoa.
Wow, that's a lot of money.
Oh, maybe I should just take being a YouTuber serious.
What's What's ironic is that I was like the early people on YouTube in Japan, you know? I was one of the top people in Japan at first because I started in 2006, right? So people knew me, you know, all the users online like they would kn know me and then I won the YouTube next up prize. YouTube next up was the kind of award that was given to those who will be big on YouTube and so on. I got it and uh I was supposed to go in that way but but then like I you know that's when like they started to talk about oh in order to have a vir you know in order for your video to go viral you need to do this and that and there are many steps and frames that you have to you know put yourself into and I'm a free bird. I like to do things in my own way and I don't want to be framed the same as the others and also like it's just kind of like suppressing yourself with all the rules and I got bored and also back then we didn't have AI so everything was done manually and it was so tiring so uh so then along the way I quit and then people after me would came in with Like first of all it was monetized already for them and then they have the all the higher technology like they have a camera on their phone my time I had to buy a digital camera and everything and like they have everything now and then that's a great start for them right and then they they have like thousands and hundreds of subscribers and they have they earn money easily I'm like, I was too early.
I worked for a Japanese manufacturing company. Cool. We have engineers from Japan come to the states. Oh, our economy isn't that bad. Yeah.
I mean, Japan is maintaining uh the uh the level of the c of the country. So, yeah.
But like I'm talk when I say like economy I'm usually I I need to find the right expression because I'm talking about how the ordinary people feel so I should just say that right but yeah so that's in Japanese that would be like ki maybe the just feelings atmosphere kind of thing I was motivated to learn a lot since the market keeps going up. I didn't learn hardly anything in school.
I'm hungry.
Is it a big deal in Japan that China threat threatened to behead Sai Takai? Because that was all over the news cycle here.
Yeah, it was a big deal. It was It was Yeah, it was a big topic for a while.
You make a decent little profit if you invest in funds that cover the whole D Jones, Dow Jones.
Japan need to start 400 1k accounts. Trump accounts are starting this year for kids to start a stock market account. Cool.
You should talk to Metatron Italian commentator in America who also was a translator of Japanese professionally.
Cool.
Yeah. Like it's interesting that the people I encounter uh in political activities like there are people often that are translators.
I am kind of a translator but of my husband only.
I'm his personal translator.
But hey, he uh he has a roof over my head. So, but um translating is interesting because I can translate my husband easily because I know his thought patterns and uh you know what he wants to do and all the back background knowledge like I know in details and that's why it's easy for me to translate him um and and vice versa. But with other people like I have no idea how they think. So it's it's challenging.
Oh, it's almost six. Oh, I didn't go out today.
No, just put it in the index fund and let it go. I can't be bothered watching my stocks all the time.
I see. Yeah, I have a feeling that I would be actually good if I learn the basics because I I'm really I get in in the zone easily. What?
But you have to be really interested though.
Like it's maybe like I I tell my husband that he should give a lecture at banks and so on, you know, because there are some like uh what's the word? U people conservative people in Japan in the discord.
uh I mean as in like discussions you know like political commentators and so on they some sometimes go give a lecture at bank and all the finance related places to give them the background knowledge of what's going on in the world and my husband will be able to do that I don't know why he doesn't do I investing for Japanese must be difficult since the market hasn't gone up until recently.
I don't even know the world index fund.
Back in the day, the stream stream kids today don't know how to talk was Yeah, seriously. They have no idea.
like they're so spoiled.
But I'm um I'm really uh impressed by like uh old YouTubers, you know, like from the getgo like original YouTubers like for example I Justine. I don't know if you know her, but I Justine like just like iPhone I Justine. It's she. It's a she.
She's one year older than me, I think, and she was early on on YouTube. And um she did uh some cool v cool video about involvement early on, you know, the invoices or whatever coming in paper.
And then she made a video about it. She went viral and then she started to have all the entertaining videos with advanced technology at the time. and she's into technology and she's still doing that today and I I'm so amazed like she has like millions of subscribers I think but that's some I don't know how she does it but yeah some people really made it a job so that's amazing for me I was doing YouTube at first as a pianist I play piano so again piano My piano level is like it's good like better than ordinary people but then it's not as prof like it's not as good as professionals and I'm too lazy to read sheet music so I copy by ear and it's a cool skill but then you can't really use it you know because you would if you want to make it a job then you would need to share the info with other people so other people don't work like you So then I I'm like I can do many things at a decent level, but then I have many of them and I don't really exceed.
Yeah. Anyway, I'm hungry.
See? Okay. Anyway.
Huh? What are you using for lighting right now? Is it just an overhead light?
It looks really good. It's just a regular light and then YouTube has like I'm I'm on iPad right now and if you go on iPad I don't know if it works in other application but I on iPad I see this brightness one and if I put it's off now on off on off and then also my light is not professional professional at all.
Want to see my light?
It's too dark. Like if you see directly then it's too bright. So I have plastic bag over it and I have it here. Yeah. And then a little light outside too.
Yes. And my um Yes. I really like I don't even have a decent lighting.
Usually YouTubers have like one of those ring lights and so on.
Anyway, one day somehow I'll be rich and I'll have all the cool cool gears. Just one day.
But you guys are you know some of you give me super chat so making it happen.
Anyway need super chat for lights. Yes.
And then I am thinking of buying a background kilt. This is green but and you are supposed to use for you know regular green things thing but I'm not using it for that because YouTube doesn't support that if it's this angle. So I think I'm going to buy like a white version and then maybe draw on it and it will be distorted because it has waves but uh it's better than nothing. So, I'm considering that it's like probably like 15 bucks or so.
I gotta I I should probably go order that like after this.
You're making do with what you have.
Yeah. Collabs with other creators can help giving you more exposure. Yeah, I used to do that a lot.
Maybe all I need for like first of all I probably need energy again like I'm getting old I feel like mentally. So you got to you know have the energy again and have hopes again to you know be passionate.
I'm starting to feel sad now talking.
It's a reflection of what I don't have right now.
I need I need um energy. I need passion.
Yes, I'm old, but I got to remember how to be young again.
Drink some coffee. I wish it was that easy.
But I I on a serious note, I think I need movements because I'm not moving much at all anymore. So, uh I need to use my body exercise. So, then bluffful blood flow will come back and then I will feel better and I'll look better, youthful.
And she needs air conditioner. Yes.
Yes, please. But I do have here though, but it's expensive. So, it's rather it's rather that uh I need uh the money to pay the bill.
Well, we use the minimum, you know, like we don't want to turn it on much because it's expensive.
Uh yeah, our bedroom could use air conditioner, too. There's a room next to this and we use that for to to sleep.
But in that room we don't have air conditioner. So what happens is that we sleep in the living room to cut the cost.
Yeah. It's really expensive to buy an air conditioner in Japan now. And it's going to be even more expensive like next year I think. Um, so if you're in Japan and need to buy one, you should hurry and get one.
I need to get a computer, too. And I really seriously need to change the Wi-Fi router. There are many things I need to buy.
Uh, yeah, you're depressive and have a idiot.
Think about your prime minister and her energy.
I think Napoleon and I are very similar like physical condition wise. So I think we we're pretty much the same.
You talked to us for hours. I thought you were very energized. I I don't know like my mouth is separated like my face like here only here is really I use this a lot. So yeah, other are like I can't even keep the posture. I'm like always like, "Hey guys and at the end I'm like you got to maybe I need a I need to be sitting on a gym one of those this machine here so that sometimes I need to do it and maybe at the bottom I need like walking machine.
So maybe I'm I'll be like photo.
Uh, but yeah, I uh but I'm 40, so I'm really seriously thinking about health a lot recently. So, and I'm starting to have link wrinkles here, so I'm going to buy a expensive eye cream probably too.
Uh, Emila, I don't want to make you depressed because of my age problem. So, I should probably let you guys go. You look much younger than 4. Oh, how nice of you.
Thank you so much for your kind words.
That's what I'm aiming for. But I look good on the screen kind of, but I am old.
Don't laugh.
My husband is from a distance. He's laughing at me.
We're chuckling.
You know why I uh I'm I'm I feel old because I'm with that old guy. He's like nine years older than me. So, he gets to have my youthful energy and he's like basically sucking up my youthful energy.
So, I feel like 50.
There was a time I went to my husband's uh barbecue with his friend like his like schoolmates you know like the people from the same grade were there and they brought their family and I went there you know with my husband and then one wife of my husband's friend told me you know like my husband age. First of all, like my husband is 90 years older and this guy is 9 years older than me, right? And his wife, so probably much older than me. And then she looks at me back then and said like like are you like me are you older than my husband?
Huh?
Like what? Like what are you saying?
like and she to me she looked like an old lady you know like she's much older than me and she's basically saying that are you older than me you know like how is that possible I would say at the time it was I don't know maybe how many years ago five years ago or so I must have been like 35 or maybe younger and then this this person this wife asked me like, "Are you older than this nine year older husband?"
Some people have issues with her their like uh, you know, self image. You know, they think that they're young forever.
I'm like, "Look at your look at yourself in the mirror."
Yeah. Aging is normal. Yeah. I just don't want to look like wrinkly and dirty because like if you you got to take care of your body well so that you don't look dirty or like like um like a clean I want to look clean you know because if you age it kind of makes you look kind of miserable like no offense to older people but you know um so you got to I want to look clean. So that's what I'm aiming for.
How cruel.
Exactly.
Thank you. My wife is 10 years older than me. My twin married 10 years younger. That's interesting.
So you are >> like so do your sis your your wife and your sister-in-law have 20 year difference and you are a twin but you have different preferences. That's interesting.
It was intentional cruality between women. Probably probably she just wish that I was older, right? Because I look so good, right?
Let's just believe so.
I'm also 50. Does your husband have a sister? Unfortunately, no.
>> Yeah, that would have been fun though, you know.
Uh, but my husband is aging too, so I'm telling him to take care of his facial skin, you know, because he he walks outside all the time. He's really tanned like some I don't know, Eastern Asian person.
No, no, Southeast. I mean, Southeast Asian because they're tan, you know, they're brown, but my husband is supposed to be like kind of whitish yellow, but he's brown.
>> Yes. My husband used to be told that she he has such a pale skin.
He's so brown.
Like you saw in the picture, right?
Yesterday we we were walking in the park.
This is kind of brightened, you know, so it's not even.
It's so brown.
And this this kind of I I light it up.
So yeah.
>> Yeah. He's up. He's he's tan. He's like, "Oh, I'm tan. I'm cool." Right? I mean, he does look healthy, but I'm just worried about his wrinkles and, you know, stain. Is it stain? Like, you know, you get those when you're older.
So, I got to tell him to wear a sunscreen and so on. He doesn't do anything right now. So, and I've been thinking about some damage, too. Yeah. Because I mean you you'll be okay until like probably like 60 or so and then 70 or so of course like uh it will start to show and then so you don't have to worry for a while but um I don't know and then I mean who knows like we would we we might die tomorrow who knows asteroid who knows but yeah identical twins But our wives are generation apart. Oh, interesting.
I always wonder how it is to have an identical identical twin and how different the two can become. Yeah, I didn't I I thought that they would be the same, speak at the same time, think the same and Yeah. Interesting.
My brother's wife has a bunch of gray hair and my wife has like 10 gray hairs.
I have more gray than her. I have more gray than my husband actually.
I uh there was a time that my husband gave me stress and then I started to have like some gray hair and then uh he's just okay.
But it, you know, talking to him makes me realize like how much of a warrior like not not a fighting warrior but warrior like I worry all the time. And uh also I uh I also learned that I I'm sensitive like I I can catch information a lot of information. What I mean is that what happens often is that um I'm like I tell my husband like, "Hey, can you smell that? Like it smells like this and that." He's like, "What?"
And then the other day too, like I I kept hearing this loud noises from outside. I'm like, "Who is speaking?
Like who what is that voice? Like do you hear that?" My husband is like, "What?
Oh yeah, maybe I hear something.
and and I catch all this information mean the meanwhile I'm annoyed by all the information like bus smell and noises and everything my husband is like he doesn't smell anything he doesn't hear much he's just enjoying it himself so like the stress levels are different living in the same environment. And that's what I realized the other day.
Yeah. I worry about bills. Me too.
Me too.
Yeah. But you guys are helping helping me here.
Does he know his blood pressure? Yeah.
Maybe. I don't know. He does get his blood tested, but not the blood pressure. Oh, but no, he does check.
Yeah. Yeah, his blood pressure is okay.
My blood pressure by the way is really low. Really low. Uh like hence that all the symptoms.
Like my one time I checked it was like 90 at the top and 50 or 50 something at the bottom. place but yeah but I mean you know so like I often think that so I have a lot of like so I have all alolative colitis and then I have all the bad you know bad condition but uh at the same time I think that if I was born a little bit earlier without all this modern technology then I'll be so healthy and I'll be rocking it you know because I can I will have a good instinct you know hearing smelling everything being alert at the right time and then I will go to sleep at night and I'll be it will be super easy but today a lot of information only not only from smartphones but like instinctively I catch everything too and uh I'm a really athletic you know I have lots of muscles but uh I don't get to use it and rather I'm remain calm at home and yeah living like a sick person and then I become sick and uh I got to do something about Your brain probably cannot filter our relevant noise. Yeah, that's probably it because I'm I'm alert on everything.
Yeah, it's really hard for me to shut things out. Like I could but then I don't feel safe when I do it. But then I have to do it or else my body keeps fighting and thus the results comes. But I do overthink per se, but for years I did.
Yeah. So I'm naturally a commentator I think.
But it's not it's not my personality.
It's my family back home. The my parents talk a lot. Like what if I watch TV on my parents' place, everybody's talking, everybody's a commentator, you know, commentator on TV says something, we all fight back, you know, and then if I if we see like a apple on TV for example, oh that apple looks good. Oh, it's red and oh, I wonder where it's come from and blah blah blah blah. ago we keep keeps like commenting and commenting and that's why it happens. So so probably that's why I keep talking in a live stream as well.
It's it's interesting when I get sick or like when I when my condition gets bad, you know, I still go out sometimes to for my body, right? And my husband kindly walks with me and then most of the time I'm speaking for him, you know, to to entertain basically. But when I'm like not in a good condition, I'm like just quiet.
I'm like this.
I don't talk at all.
Anyway, caff peel to get me going. Wow.
Interesting.
I'm highly alert all the time.
I can't. It's hard for me to relax.
But so once I sleep though, I sleep forever.
My husband was eating without me reading a book, so of course he dropped something on his uh pants.
Good evening and good morning from New York City. Wow. Hello. Hello, New York.
Yeah. Is my Is my voice echoing in New York? Hello.
Good morning.
Anyway, I should I should let you guys go, though. It's like past 6 here. It's The sun is still out, so I get confused.
But it's actually past 6. I could still go for a walk. It's bright outside.
Yes. Yeah. Seriously, I'm I am hungry. I'm a past hungry though. There's a stage, right? Like when you get really hungry and then you're like dying and then you pass the stage and you're like you don't care.
Maybe my fat is being used right now.
Sunrises here in New York City. Isn't that kind of trippy that I'm seeing the sun here and you're seeing the sun over there and but we are like on the other side of the world but we're seeing the same thing just from different angle but the same thing at the same time. Isn't that cool?
Yeah.
Depends on who I'm around. usually prefer people who that talk more than I do though. Yeah, me too actually. I just want to talk it out sometimes though.
Like every I don't know five minutes or so I want to say something but I usually want people to talk too. Yeah. But I'm a good listener so people keep rambling you know. So that's not cool.
If you meet me in person, by the way, I wouldn't be speaking at all to you.
I would be intimidated or something like I feel bad for speaking. So, I usually hide.
You may stay or go. We're happy to listen more.
Two. Oh, the west coast here in Europe. It's late morning. Yeah, late morning is the best time.
Walking is great. Or buy a treadmill. I want a treadmill, guys. Buy me a treadmill.
Not safe to go walking here. Oh, really?
It's safe to go here. Women can walk alone at night, too. But I am scared of the outside.
I've been attacked before. So probably that's why like from a behind like somebody choked me when I was in university for sexual reasons and then I fall back and I screamed like and then so he ran away but he got caught though.
He got arrested. Uh but yeah that happened so I'm I'm still traumatized.
So I really hate it when people walk right behind me. But that's good though, right? It's a good kind of trauma because uh now I have to be, you know, be alert, be careful of CCP agents and Russian agents, you know, they might come and kill me. So I'm like, I gotta watch out always, right? So my instincts if somebody's behind me, I can catch it.
I'm like I'm always careful. So I guess that's not bad to have have had that experience.
Guess you're not a flat earth.
True.
Is the earth flat?
You're seeing the sun. I'm seeing the sun.
Probably not flat.
Do you like show? Yes. I'm proud of him.
He's bringing up the image of Japan.
Yeah, he hasn't been doing well recently, but >> uh he does both. So, picturing and yeah, if I saw you, I would say let's make anime great against Let's do that. Let's We got to make a video like that.
You could use a security team. Yeah.
Like seriously, like Russia tried to kill our friends, so no good. So my husband and I, we need to be careful because we are on the list of like on the sanction list of Russia, you know, we cannot enter Russia.
So it's it's crazy that they know us. I mean, we are honored, you know, they think that authoritarian state thinking that we are a threat for them is such honor, right?
Super chat. Thank you so much. Wow.
Wow.
Wow.
Guys, I know I should go, but chatting with you is fun, and I've stayed this far. No, let me go.
My husband is playing music.
My husband is like he was playing some music and he said like oh it's an old old one >> magnificent >> magnificent >> seven >> seven >> everyone knows >> everyone knows he was so he said that if you are >> consumptive Really? That is the ending melody.
>> Yeah.
Hitting slump. Yeah. What is your predictions this week? What's going to happen this week?
our we are discussing in Japan the imperial family household law. So that's going to hopefully hopefully uh pass.
Yes.
H I hope Iran's situation will be better soon but then Iran I don't think that Iran will give up so >> soon.
Okay. Anyway, thank you guys for watching. I should let you guys go. I'm falling asleep, so I don't mind if you go now. Thank you. I want some tea. I think I'm going to stay up.
I often become like that too when I'm asleep like you know I want to fall asleep but then I want that too like what happens is that you get all the desires you know when you are sleepy like you get hungry you get you know yeah okay thank you so much guys for and for those who gave me super chat thank you so much that was a red super chatter Thank you.
Thank you.
>> Thank you. It is so hard to say thank you. Thank you.
>> Yes, we got to say thank you in or else Vance will come get us. So thank you always. Thank you.
See you later alligator.
