Compared to its predecessors, the Book M3 has a much shorter deployment time and a greatly increased firing range of up to 70 km.

Its active phased array radar can track up to 36 targets simultaneously and guide missiles towards six different targets at once within a full 360° coverage area.

In addition, Russia's layered air defense integration is exceptionally dense. The Book M3 serves as the perfect medium-range layer, filling the gap beneath the legendary S400 longrange system while offering greater range and agility for intercepting small, fastmoving projectiles than many other systems.

This creates a comprehensive defense ecosystem in which enemy drones attempting to scout radar positions can be destroyed immediately by interceptor drones before they have the chance to transmit targeting coordinates.

The munition relies on integrated inertial navigation and GPS guidance to strike coordinates with meter level accuracy.

[00:06:45]History has shown that Russian electronic warfare systems are highly effective at disrupting GPS signals, which remain a key dependency of Western weapons. Without a stable GPS connection, the JDAM ER becomes little more than a drifting glide bomb that can easily be detected and intercepted by the book M3 radar systems.
