When Dumb Suspect Instantly Regrets Their Action本站添加:
Police take on all sorts of dangerous criminals every day, but the suspects in these cases were one of a kind as their reckless actions put lives at risk. And these officers made sure they all instantly regretted their actions.
>> Turned into an apartment here at Crest.
>> We got two males running.
>> You're going to get bit. Chase. Go. Get on the ground. GET ON THE GROUND. YOU STAY. ON January 15th, 2025, Pleasant Prairie police officers in Wisconsin began pursuing a vehicle with two occupants after noticing it had the wrong plates. When the driver refused to pull over and the chase became increasingly dangerous, eventually crossing state lines, officers backed off. About 2 hours later, officers spotted the same vehicle and the same suspects returning on the same road. But unlike the first time, officers were not going to let them get away again.
All right, it's coming northbound, but with your guys' accident, I'm going to try not to pursue. It's coming up to you guys. Heads up. Heads up.
All right, it's fleeing northbone 1080 with it.
Speeds are 50. He's taking the ditch. I think he's going to wipe out soon.
>> Determined not to let the suspects get away. Their persistence finally paid off when the driver, while trying to pull into a driveway at full speed, lost control and crashed into a parked vehicle. The suspects immediately jumped out and tried to escape on foot, but officers weren't far behind with their K9.
>> Chase for Lex. signaling to go turn into an apartment here. Crash.
>> He's found in the apartment complex.
>> We got two nails running.
>> You're going to GET BIT. CHASE. GO. GO.
GO. GO. GO. CHASE. STEAL IT. STEAL IT.
Get on the ground. GET ON THE GROUND.
YOU BETTER GET ON THE GROUND. GET ON THE GROUND. Put your hands behind your back.
Stand right. See him? Stop.
Stop fighting me.
>> ON YOUR STOMACH. ON YOUR STOMACH. ON your stomach.
>> I got one detained.
>> I'm on my stomach.
>> DO NOT FIGHT. STAY right there.
>> I got dog on somebody. I need help over here.
>> Come with me, please.
>> Not till you start to cooperate. Stay still.
>> Do not move. Do you understand me? Stand up.
>> You can get up. Your other guy's getting chewed up by the dog right now, so I need to get over there to help him. Good boy, Chase. Good boy. The driver, 24-year-old Desmond Balinat, who suffered K-9 bite injuries, and the passenger, 26-year-old Lawrence Kittendon Quinn, were both taken to jail and charged with resisting and obstructing an officer. The driver also faced additional charges of fleeing and eluding an officer, recklessly endangering safety, possession of THC, and previous outstanding warrants. While the suspects thought they were slick enough to escape two separate police chases within just two hours, the next suspect wanted on several warrants, thought he could bribe his way out of multiple felonies.
>> Come on, man. I'll give y'all $4,000, man. Just take my cash and just go, please. That ain't going to work. On October 22nd, 2024, officers quickly surrounded a vehicle in a parking lot after discovering that the driver had more than four felony warrants, including warrants for firearm and drug possession charges. The moment they confirmed his identity, officers boxed him in and demanded his surrender, determined not to let him escape.
>> Got her roll back window. Got her in a red Chevy. Roll the driver side window down. Put both hands out the window.
>> Driver, put your hands out the window.
Put your hands out the window. Driver.
>> Last chance. Driver.
Open the door with one hand. Open the door.
>> Officers removed the suspect from the Chevy and quickly placed him in handcuffs. They then discovered a firearm in his waistband, which was not exactly surprising given that one of his felony warrants was firearm related. But as officers searched his vehicle and called for federal agents to take custody of him, another arriving officer noticed the suspect was already trying to slip out of his handcuffs and escape.
>> What's going He got his got his hand pulled around, took his shoes off and everything.
>> What you doing, dude?
Huh? What are you doing? What do you mean? Huh?
>> I got electronics.
Bring him up.
Man, >> huh?
>> I'm safe, man. I want to play, man. Not doing nothing wrong.
>> Yeah, you did. Just tried to escape.
This is uncomfortable, man. What the going to get worse in a second. Don't kick.
I'm just asking towards the front now.
O2, come get another unit over to this location.
>> Dude, stop my finger. Stop doing that.
My fingers caught, dude. Stop.
Be gentle. Be gentle.
What are you trying to do, man? and I'll give you $1,000, man. Get in my pocket. Please >> just take my cash and just go. Please.
That ain't going to work.
What the are you trying to do?
Come on.
Stop fighting, dude. What are you doing?
Can I get your stomach broke my ear?
>> Stop fighting. Do you understand?
>> No, man.
>> Try. No, I'm telling you now. If you resist, you're going to get tased.
>> Relax your arms. I got to get this cuff off. Okay.
>> The suspect was properly handcuffed again. and officers found more than $4,000 in $100 bills on him, suggesting he had been serious about the bribe. He was taken into custody on his several felony warrants and also faced additional charges, including bribery, aggravated battery, assault, and resisting arrest. The next group of teenagers thought they could pull off an armed carjacking right in front of police and get away with it, but they couldn't have been more wrong.
>> They're hanging out of the window. One of them's pointing GET THE DOWN. GET OVER THERE.
>> On May 11th, 2024, Kuya Hoga police officers began chasing three juveniles who had stolen a couple's Ford Escape at gunpoint near a farmers market not far from where officers had their patrol cars. A very unwise move as officers quickly radioed each other and moved in on the suspects from all directions.
>> Our car was just robbed at gunpoint at the farmers market.
were not hurt, but they stole my wife's uh purse and the car at gunpoint.
>> Gotcha. What year model is your vehicle?
>> It's a uh white 2014.
>> The chase dragged on for quite some time with the suspects leading officers in circles until they got desperate and escalated the pursuit trying to get the police off their backs.
>> They're hanging out of the window. one of them. Looks like it's occupied by three. It's going to be the front passenger down on blue when he had a firearm in his hand.
We're at uh 88 southbound on pain.
Already swerving around lanes. We're coming up on traffic now. That male in the blue, he's hanging out again. Coming through Chester now. Still southbound speeds of 80.
>> Officers pulled back slightly during the pursuit, keeping a safer distance from the suspects while still refusing to let them get away. That persistence finally paid off when the suspects tried to make a sharp turn at around 80 mph, lost control, and gave officers the chance to move in.
>> Get the down. Get the down.
>> Hey, >> don't you move. Don't you move.
>> Don't move.
>> Don't move.
>> All right, you got it.
>> Don't move. You got it, man.
>> Get down.
>> HEY, YOU GOT IT.
>> Turn around. PUT YOUR hands behind your back.
>> Can I put your HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK?
DO IT NOW.
>> DO IT NOW. CAN I LAY DOWN? DO IT NOW.
>> PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND your Go go go go go go.
We got males running. Got males running.
Foot mail. Let me see your hand down by the highway. The driver on the highway.
Jumping fast. He's down the highway.
Get over there.
Help him. Help him. Turn around. Turn around.
>> Cut him up. Cut him up.
>> Two of the suspects were captured while the third sprinted away and managed to evade arrest. The two juveniles who were caught were charged with aggravated robbery and motor vehicle theft in Kuyuhoga County Juvenile Court while the third suspect remained at large. While the suspects in this case stole a car right in front of police, the next suspect took things even further by stealing a police car. And he didn't live to tell the tale. Switch candy.
>> I don't have peanut butter.
>> Good sticks. We got a >> On June 20th, 2023, Colorado officers began pursuing a driver after he stole a police patrol car. Minutes earlier, officers had chased and PIT maneuvered his vehicle after reports that he had fired gunshots and caused multiple crashes on the roadway after arresting him and placing him in the cruiser. The driver slipped his cuffs to the front, crawled through the open cage window into the driver's seat, and sped off in the patrol car. A very bad idea, as you'll soon see.
>> Notified F County. We need stops to shop for this vehicle. It has a marked patrol unit. Lights are activated.
>> I do not have eyes on him. There's three PD officers in front of me. I have two Charlie, three on board.
>> He's got about a half a tank. Well, we got a half a ticket gas. Go ahead and have radio. Disable the radio. Please disable the radio.
>> The radio in the stolen cruiser was disabled, so the suspect could not hear police strategy. Meanwhile, other units raced ahead and positioned themselves to stop the vehicle with stopsticks, knowing the suspect still had access to the officer's rifle inside the cruiser.
>> 393 >> coming up on stopsticks.
He missed him. Continuing eastbound.
>> One coming up right now. And I'll come up behind him.
>> The driver had already managed to avoid two sets of stop sticks, but he would not be so lucky with the third.
>> Am I taking this?
Is that what you said?
>> Switch, Candy.
>> I don't have anymore.
Good sticks. We got to TAKE you all right, sir.
>> Hey. Hey. Hey. Talk to me.
>> In case you need something to shove up underneath that extinguisher.
The cruiser crashed with such force that it was nearly torn in half. Even so, officers pulled the suspect, 31-year-old Anthony Alonso Sanchez, from the wreckage and rushed him to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
While this suspect's unwise decision cost him his life, the next suspect wasn't any smarter, as he literally jumped into a river in a desperate attempt to avoid being captured by police. My bad.
>> What are you going to tell him?
>> You're being real. You're getting real close to going to jail.
>> All right. You guys won't catch me.
>> No, I'm not.
>> Possibly jumped in the water.
>> On May 28th, 2025, Oaklair police officers in Wisconsin were called to a roadway after reports of a reckless driver spinning his truck's tires, driving dangerously, and cursing at other motorists. By the time officers arrived, the driver had already hit a curb, leaving his truck damaged and disabled in the roadway. The other unit dist.
>> Hey sir, can you come here?
What's going on?
>> My rear axle snapped. I'm trying to get it off to the side road at least so I can call >> your rear axle snap.
>> My whole rear axle snapped going around this corner for some reason.
>> TripleA. Can I grab a driver's license for me?
>> It's invalid.
>> Okay. What is it? Suspended revolt.
>> Okay.
>> Please don't screw me on it.
>> Okay. Here's this. I know I'm not supposed to. I'm trying to get to my buddy's house. That's all I'm trying I'm trying to stay the night there. I got kicked out of my house.
>> Any drinking or drug use tonight?
>> None.
>> Not at all.
>> No. May I grab my phone?
>> Sure.
>> The driver admitted that his license was revoked and was allowed to call his father to the scene. Up to that point, he had been mostly cooperative. But as his behavior became more erratic, officers put him through a series of sobriety tests and had him take a breathalyzer test. He blew a 0.071, 071, narrowly missing the legal limit of 0.08. Because of that, the officer's hands were essentially tied, leaving them with only the option of issuing citations. But that was about to change as this driver seemed determined to go to jail and was willing to do everything possible to make that happen.
>> I can follow y'all if I want. It's a free world.
>> It's my dad.
>> What are you going to tell them?
>> Okay, >> let me listen.
>> Here's here's the deal, dude.
>> Here's the deal. I'm listening.
>> You're being real You're getting real close to going to jail.
>> Oh, wrong. You guys won't catch me.
>> Okay, that's fine. That it doesn't go away.
>> It goes away.
>> It does not go away.
>> In a different state, it goes away.
>> You're not in a different state.
>> I'm going to go to a different state.
>> I don't care.
>> You don't care. Exactly. That's what I'm going >> Why are you doing this? You were decent when we first started.
>> I want to hear what you're trying to tell my dad for me or something.
>> Yeah.
>> Why can't Why you got to pull my dad away to have a conversation? I'm here. I can listen. This is about me.
>> So, ask it.
>> But I'm not going to partake him. I'll see you when you're here before I get arrested.
>> Let's go walk by someone else.
>> You guys areing [ __ ] You don't know that. We're going to hang out here while I'm not going to [ __ ] >> Sh. You're under arrest.
He turned it into a criminal thing now.
>> We were just going to give him a couple tickets.
>> He's busy.
>> Still going through.
>> Possibly jumped in the water.
Negative. I have eyes on him now. He's in the water.
>> But I'm not under arrest.
>> Huh?
>> I calmed down. Am I cool?
>> Just come back up here. We can be cool.
>> Okay.
>> And I'm not under arrest. I freaked out.
>> Okay. I I hear you, man.
>> Am I okay if I come up?
Come up. I'm >> not under arrest.
>> We got paperwork for you. If >> that's fine, just take that and go.
>> Just come back up here.
>> I'm sorry.
>> You do anything stupid, you're going to get tased. You hear me?
>> Freaked out.
>> Get over here.
>> I freaked out. I'm coming.
Turn around.
Turn up. Stop >> walking towards me. Stop. Get down on your knees.
>> I really I freaked.
>> You do anything stupid, you're going to get tased. You understand me? I understand.
>> Of course.
>> The driver, 21-year-old Shia, was charged with obstructing an officer operating a vehicle while revoked, disorderly conduct, and bail jumping.
The next suspect, a female driver who had already broken several traffic laws, sped to her ex-boyfriend's house, expecting him to shield her from police.
But they both quickly got a harsh reality check.
>> Do not reach into your bag. I will tase you if you reach into your bag. My back up.
>> Back up.
>> I am on my >> back up.
>> On March 16th, 2024, a Monroe County deputy began pursuing a female driver after spotting her driving off the road and onto the grass, swerving between lanes, nearly hitting a deer, and refusing to pull over. She even flipped off the deputy during the pursuit before pulling into her ex-boyfriend's driveway, jumping out of the car, and confronting the deputy, seemingly believing her ex would protect her.
Why are you getting out of the car?
>> Why are you getting out of the car? Step back.
>> Step back.
>> Step back. I did not tell you to get out of the car.
>> You're going to tase me?
>> Walk to the back of your car.
>> You're going to tase me.
>> Walk to the back of your car.
>> You're going to tase me.
>> Walk to the back of your car.
>> Shoot me. Why don't you >> walk to the back of your car?
>> Shoot me.
>> To the back to the back of your car.
>> Scott, >> turn around. Good for >> I don't feel safe. I'm going to call 91.
>> Turn around. Do not reach into your bag.
I will tase you if you reach into your bag.
>> Turn around.
>> Okay. You see this, right?
>> Turn around.
>> I will drop my bag for you. Are you a newbie? How long you been on the forge, dude? You're watching the whole thing, right? That's my neighbor.
>> Turn around.
>> Turn around.
>> Can I get my boyfriend?
>> No. Put your hands behind your head. Are you an adult?
>> I'm 35 years old.
>> Okay. You're an adult. Then you can do this yourself.
>> I'm a mother of three.
>> Look, ma'am. I don't want to hurt you, but if you don't listen to me, I'm going to have to.
>> You're going to tase me?
>> I will have to. If you don't listen to me, >> place your hands behind your head.
>> Are you a little pumped up? Why are you squeezing my hands so hard?
>> Because you keep not listening to me.
Stop.
>> You're so new. I'm a seventh generation flidian. You probably aren't.
>> Please. Please. Please stay. Stay.
>> He's talking to me like a dog. Stay or what?
>> Okay. Well, I've given you orders as a normal human and you don't seem to respond.
>> No, you're not. You're talking to me like I'm an animal. Like a dog. Sit.
Stay. The deputy quickly handcuffed her and placed her in the backseat of his patrol car. As he searched her vehicle, the woman kept shouting for her ex-boyfriend from inside the cruiser.
When the ex-boyfriend finally came out of the house, he decided to confront the deputy. A very bad idea.
>> Hello. Is that your girlfriend, Darla?
>> It is.
>> Okay. So, she's going to go to jail.
>> FOR WHAT?
>> THERE'S NO REASON. I'VE DONE NOTHING WRONG.
>> WELL, SHE TRIED to run from me and then she got out of her car and started coming towards me. Babe, what the [ __ ] >> And I gave her a lot of orders to go back to her car and turn around and she wouldn't do it.
>> Okay, I think we're done talking if you don't understand how that's illegal.
>> I get that.
>> You see what she's doing right now, right? This is why she's going to jail.
>> That's not illegal behavior.
>> Hey, it is illegal.
>> That's not the door is not illegal. What suspect? What crime did she commit for you to arrest?
>> Again, she's an adult. I don't need to explain this to you.
>> You do. You do. You do.
>> What? What? as a as AN EMPLOYEE TO ME.
>> YOU NEED TO >> AN employee to you.
>> I pay taxes, right?
>> That's a good Scott. Scott, Scott, we're done. Scott, we're done talking.
>> Unless you want to go in the back of my car as well.
>> And you're acting like a child, dude.
How old are you? 24.
>> No, I'm I'm 16.
>> I It sounds like it.
>> But the moment he decided to put his hands on the deputies, they went full 360 on him.
>> You have rehearsal for that.
>> You just back up.
>> Back up.
>> Littered.
>> Stop.
>> Litter.
>> Stop. Really? Back up now. I'm getting >> back up.
>> REALLY, >> BABE? DON'T GET ARRESTED.
>> You want to take him, too?
>> What crime is this one?
>> We keep telling you to stay back from us.
>> For her personal protection, >> you're throwing stuff on the ground. You smell like alcohol. You're obviously drunk.
>> I'm allowed to be. Am I driving? Am I committing a crime?
>> No, but I told you already I don't want you coming up to me because I feel unsafe by you.
>> Questions.
>> Okay.
>> Well, in my business attire, bro. Dude, I'm in business. I'm tired.
>> Scott, I'll give you one last chance if you want to walk away.
>> Here.
>> I just want her key.
>> We'll let you.
>> The deputy let him go again, but instead of backing off, he continued to taunt the deputy.
>> WHAT THE [ __ ] >> We're not We're not We're not talking to each other right now. Okay.
>> Why not? You got a right to talk.
>> Yeah, but not to each other.
>> Why not?
>> Because you have nothing to do with the crime.
>> Baby, bail me out.
>> I will, babe. We got to take her wallet with her money.
>> No, I got my wallet. Are you kidding me?
personal.
>> Stop. Stop. Stop grabbing out of my car.
Back up. Go away now. This is your lasting chance, dude. You're going to grab my Back up. Back up.
>> Back up.
>> Back up. Yeah, I'm telling you to back up. You're running over to me, walking up behind me, grabbing stuff out of my car. Stop.
>> If you get closer to me again, I'm going to put you in handcuff.
>> For some reason, the ex-boyfriend managed to avoid going to jail that day.
His ex-girlfriend, however, was not as lucky. The ex-girlfriend, 36-year-old Darla Rachel Vidal, was taken to jail and charged with fleeing and eluding an officer, as well as resisting and obstructing an officer.
