Effective tank play in Overwatch requires controlling space and denying enemy positioning rather than just winning individual fights; by positioning to force enemies into disadvantageous areas and using abilities like Reinhardt's Earthshatter or Arisa's pull to limit enemy mobility, tanks can create opportunities for their team to capitalize on cooldown advantages and win objectives.

CONTROL the Entire Game WITHOUT MOVING. (Ranked Lessons)Hinzugefügt:
Hello, my name is Eevee and welcome back to Overwatch Every Day. This is a series where I play one to five rank games each day, explaining my thought process that gets me up to champ on all roles throughout the video. And speaking of that, today's video is a bit special. We go on a strong win streak, starting with an uneventful but very educational game on Sigma, followed by one where we dominate playing into a hyper mobile comp on Reinhardt. Then for our last game, in a corny but fitting manner, we close today's episode with how we started this whole series with an intense and extremely close game on Arisa, narrowly clutching it out through some extreme adaptations in our play style and positioning to get our first rule in the series up to champion. So, just one more thing. I just want to thank you guys who have been regularly watching and supporting the videos. It means the world to me. I honestly was expecting to be spending like many months refining my videos and just uploading consistently before I got any viewers. So, all the support is still just mind-blowing to me. I get the champ in this video, but I hope this series inspires you to do the same and achieve your goals. You don't have to play the same strengths as me or have the same goals as me, but I hope the main takeaways from the series is the mindset to find out how you can find your value to win your games and do what you want to do, as well as the raw knowledge of Overwatch to try to implement these concepts yourself. So, with that out of the way, thank you guys so much and let's get into the video.
All right, locking into a game a little bit here. We have Shambali for our first map up. Um, Shimali is a pretty good map for I think quite a few tanks, especially sort of groundbased tanks. It can be a little bit harder to play some of the heroes that like to lean a little bit more into like the mobility source of value. Heroes like Winston or Div.A could struggle sometimes on this map. um Doomfists, but it's a lot of because it's just very sort of like one lane and there's not many off angles that you're able to stabilize on um regularly.
Most of the time you're going to be in the LS of the enemy team. So, the game is naturally going to be a little bit harder for mobility based heroes. So, D.Va Eva Tracer being the band on the field.
We'll make it so that we have quite a few tank options available. I think that almost every tank is viable here. Just some might be a little bit harder.
Anytime that I say some tank is like harder. Um I don't mean that they're necess or any hero is like harder on a specific map. I don't mean that they're completely unviable.
um just that it's going to be a little bit more difficult to play towards the value sources that they regularly want to be playing for.
So, but looking like our team wants to be playing in a fairly slow pokeier style direction with the Torbjorn, Ashari. There's a few things I could go here. I'm thinking about a do thinking about a Sigma, Reinhardt, Raatra, Arisa.
It's been a long time since we've played Arisa or Sigma. I think I'm gonna try some Sigma here.
>> Um, Sigma is going to be a fairly versatile tank. You're going to be able to play them in quite a few areas, but they're going to excel on these sort of like long range pokebased map. Um, because their shield is going to regenerate every time that you have it pulled away. You're also going to have your um, kinetic grasp to sustain yourself as your shield is regenerating.
You have a lot of uptime and you're able to just sort of like poke people out. um on the front line for a very very long time. So, we see their queen walking on that right side. I want to make sure that I'm actually trying to make it difficult for them to get onto my back line since their queen really wants to just be like kind of stepping and brawling onto us. But as the cart gets to the corner, I'm going to go ahead and drop here. Ideally, I like to I want to talk about it, but I don't think that it is too applicable in this game. But you can stand on this ledge right up here as a tank or anyone really, but primarily you're going to want your tanks to do it and it will actually stop the cart. That's a little stall spot. That's going to be very, very useful since you don't necessarily need to commit to dropping down. You don't need to give your pressure from the high ground, but you're able to contest the cart from a very safe spot as well. Can you even make that jump?
Wait, that'd be kind of cool.
you can. Oh, that's interesting. Um, looks like they do have a lever, which kind of very unfortunate for them. Um, >> would make it a rather uneventful game for our first time on, but it allows me to talk a little bit about this map in which this map is like very hard. And then a lot of the times when I think something that a lot of people get commonly wrong about sort of payload based maps here is that the amount of fights that you actually win sometimes doesn't matter and it's more so what kind of car push that you're getting off of the fights you win. So, um let's say for example, if there are a lot of times that like an attacking team on this map will win every single fight, but they'll still like um only cap with like zero like they'll cap with no time remaining.
Um because the defenders were taking good and strong and consistent fights. A common strat that used to be used on this map was that the defending team would almost always like spawn camp.
They would take a fight up there in that big open space and then they would take another fight on that little um choke point right there and then they would have one more fight on that back area.
So, even if you lost all three fights, you would have burned most of the time off of the clock. Um, allowing your team to potentially win on second or third really easily and quickly. Um, so just making sure that you're kind of applying that concept or sometimes if you're a defender team or if you're a defending, understanding where you're going to be the hardest or it's going to take the most time to sort of like force you out is going to be a really useful skill and a mindset to get into as you're defending on maps like that. Any sort of escort map you can apply the concept to.
Um, that's why you'll see sometimes uh or a lot of the times like pro teams will still start Tracer on defense on like Hollywood or uh Dorado or something even though it's like a super dive based map and it's really high ground focused and there are a lot of high grounds that like say a shooter like an Ash or an Echko or um like Cassie or Emry could get a lot of value out of off the high grounds. they're still going to have the tracer um available because while it might not be as effective as actually like winning some fights, the tracer is going to be able to require a few resources to actually contest the cart.
While if the attacker team has a tracer and the enemy team doesn't, then it's going to be a very difficult time and you're going to expend a lot more sort of committed resources to touching the cart rather than if you just had a tracer on defense yourself. Um, it doesn't have to necessarily just be a tracer. It's just a hero that is easiest to stop the cart on their own. Um, but it's just one of the examples of like uh teams or how you can be applying the idea of making the the objective push as slowly as possible as you're defending on those sort of like escort or hybrid based maps. But let's get into our next game since that one was rather uneventful.
All right. And we get into our next game here on Oasis starting with City Center.
That's the cars one, right? Yeah, I think so.
Um, yeah, cuz there's garden university and city center. Okay. Yeah. So, this is the one with the cars. I think that starting off here, dive is going to be like dive based heroes and more mobility focused kits are going to be fairly strong here as the map is rather open.
Um, it'll allow you to utilize that mobility, but you don't necessarily have to be playing for your mobility. It's been a while since we've played some Zarya, I think, as well as Hazard.
Um, I think I might give Zarya a little bit of a shot here. Something that you want to be keeping in mind with the Zarya is that it can be a little bit more difficult if you don't have a clear bubble target. I think hopefully our Echo is going to be taking some aggressive positionings though. Um so we'll be able to find some charge off that but that we don't necessarily need um bubble target especially succeed in rank. So as we see the Tracer fighting our Echo. I'm just going to throw a bubble on them and then be chilling here. I don't want to necessarily be swinging all the way out into their MAR LO since that won't be in my effective range. I still don't have any charge.
I'm just going to play it rather slowly and try to be like sort of taking my turns. But as my team is leaning towards the sort of like back cars side coast area, I'm also going to be leaning over there. Again, just sort of like slowly poking out, I want to be playing within people's l the best that I can, but as their team starts to take a lot of space around the point, um it'll be putting us in a rather hard spot. So, I'm going to just start back in here slowly in line of sight of my Kyico, bubbling my Kyico as they get low. And as their Zarya starts to walk on that left side, I'm just going to chill. I want to see if I can keep some charge.
Ideally, my Echo gets out towards that co-side area. So, I'm just going to throw a bubble since I know that Tracer wants to be fighting them. Just making sure, especially on Zarya, that I'm paying constant mind to where my teammates are playing and what kind of plays that we want to be going for in the space on the map. But I do think that we might have played that fight a little bit too slowly. It's just a little bit hard to force any plays, especially on Zarya once you don't have charge because it's hard to actually take those sort of fights. So I cast on that left side, I think, or right side.
I think I'm going to just still be leaning towards this left, trying to build up my charge the best that I can.
As I see my Ekko go in, I think that they're going to be in a really good spot to maybe look for a play to counter this um ultimate usage from the enemy team, but unfortunately they will not get it in time. I was a little bit worried that they'd stay on the ground.
It would have been much better if I kept my bubble for myself. I think that this might be a little bit too difficult. I'm not getting the charge that I need. Uh I think I can make it work. I'm not getting the charge that I necessarily need and I'm not able to get the damage in.
Um maybe my bubble usage I can be using a little bit more greedily and putting myself in a bit more aggressive position to myself. As that Emry's on the left, I'm going to be walking over here to make sure that they're not able to freeoot my team since if their Emry is able to hold that left side and free shoot my team forever, then it's going to make it really really hard. As we're on the Bastion now, it's going to make it much easier for us to grab some charge. But with 90% on the clock, it's going to be rather hard for us to really Oh, peek me. Peek me. Oh, well.
Um, it's going to be rather hard for us to like actually close up this fight.
They have a their team still has a bunch of ultimates. We were forced to touch the car so that they were able to trade out onto our backline as we used our katune rush to get onto the point. We'll be losing that first round. Definitely sucks to see, but nothing to really stress about um since I'm not able to get the charge that I really need and go for any sort of aggressive plays. I might go onto a bit more of a self-sufficient tank or I could try to be looking to put myself into more aggressive positions and then using my bubbles a lot more selfishly. But I think that for at least my skill set right now, I'm going to be swapping things up. This might not be a bad Reinhardt spot. Winston's good. Hazard's good. I think that I am going to lean into this Reinhardt, though. accept.
>> Um, Reinhardt, the idea is that we're going to be able to step onto the angles that we wanted to on Zarya quite a bit easier, as well as we're going to be a bit more self-sufficient in our methods of doing so because we have our own sort of armor and shield and we don't have to build up like any charge. With the wall coming onto, I think that I'm going to be looking to step here. I saw Nate out a second ago and I saw that they're on to use their sleep dart. So that will be our trigger to sort of walk forward. I want to carry my Sojourer in the best I can. Pinning the Zarya into our team after I see their Emory backing up so there's not going to be a huge threat on us.
But um as we are capping the point, I just want to be marking out the biggest threat. So, I want to be swinging at this corner, making it hard for their Tracer to walk up as the rest of our team is putting resources into maintaining that space. As they're on Winston, I'm actually going to default to this high ground here. And then their Winston jumps forward. It will end up falling into our pin, which will be very good for us, especially with the um with our Kyico going down. So, it's going to be harder for us to stabilize, but it'll make it much easier for us later because we are fortunately able to find the fire strike on the tracer and the pin onto the Winston.
So thinking about this again, we want to be pathing towards the sort of left side hookah high ground area because if their Winston goes anywhere or the they want to fight onto the high ground, it'll be much easier for us to actually clear out the space rather than Oh, um rather than if we were to be on the low ground and have to retake it later.
Um, with their Emry on main and their Anna on main, I think I'm going to clear this high ground and then drop later.
Wilson jumping back up to this high ground. I'm a little bit worried about this Anna and the Lucio. So, I'm going to be looking to clear this Lucio, but as I see their Winston jump, I'm going to be stepping with my Earth Shatter here. I see it onto the Anna and the Winston. We're able to take down the Winston B coming out to really make sure that our team is able to play aggressive off of our Earth Shatter use. So, I think that will be putting us in a pretty good spot. Emmery is back main, but we see our Tracer on it now. So, I'm just going to be looking to swing onto the point the best I can. I'm going to be blocking this Emry now since that will be the biggest threat that could stop us from winning the game right now.
Getting one little extra greedy swing in just because we can. And it's nice to build the alt charge. So, anytime that we're able to, >> I think that's really good. So, as I see this Winston go in, I'm just going to be peeling back. I know that they have primal, but that will be a Okay. Oh, never mind. They're close to it.
Um, we get the Tracer one HP, but I think for the most part, the best thing that we want to be doing here is just sit on the point and spend as much time as possible just letting our percentage slowly tick up since we were able to do or did everything that we were able to do. Um, as well as find the kill onto the Tracer a little bit later. It's going to be putting us in a really good spot and allowing our team to get back into the fight. So, we're just able to continuously build up the percentage on the point and then win later. I don't have my Reinhardt controls set on this account for the bash perk and I was hesitant. I didn't know I was hesitant about grabbing it at first. Um, but the bash perk can be fairly good to keep up with like comps like theirs which are going to be a little bit higher mobility. I know that theor Winston has their primal rage. So I want to see if I can force it out early as they go for a play.
Um, but it looks like as our team goes down, it's going to be fairly important for us to do so as well. So we're able to catch the wave and then get a proper fight later. Definitely a Okay. It sucks when those sort of fights happen, but they just used an ultimate um while we are building up our own. We're going to come back into this fight with our beat and our earth shatter and our katsune rush. As long as we don't get picked early here, we can be looking in a fairly good spot with our swap to Bastion. It's going to make things rather scary on on that high ground also is scary. So, I'm just going to be pinning this Winston behind us who's in our space and then using the katune rush speed to get onto the point. Ideally, I'd like to have the time to clear that on off the high ground, but it looks like I won't be able to do that.
unfortunately. But the rest of our team since we're pulling so much attention, just going to slowly clean everybody up.
I'm just going to be shielding my Lucio the best that I can, and they will be the MVP of this fight.
So, putting the shatter onto the Doomfist, making it harder for them to touch. Um, I think a lot of the time since especially in higher ranks people haven't been able to play against Reinhardt often. Um, a lot of the time people forget about uh just how far Shatter can go. So utilizing it when I know that a high mobility hero doesn't have their CDs since their Defist had to use both of those to get to that position as fast as I did. Um, I'm able to use my arch shatter just kind of put them on their back and then slow them down. So, just making sure that you're keeping track or even sort of like thinking outside the box for when your triggers could be um is going to be one of the things that or ideas that you can sort of be developing in your head that will allow you to find plays that might not be obvious at first since if their Doomfist has like their movement CDs, it's going to be fairly easy for them to block or dodge uh earth or shatters like that. Um, finding a fire strike onto the Lucio and the Arisa's on this right side. The Arisa is going to be a fairly strong counter pick to us as Reinhardt.
I heard the Maywall, so I figured that maybe they were going for some sort of drop wall play as I see my Reaper on that main area. I'm going to be dropping and assisting them with this play.
Maywall gets used and my bastion gets stepped at.
A little bit scary as our team is not in a position to care our Bastion, but that will be a okay as we force the rest of them off the point as I see Anna sleep dart out. That's going to be one of my main triggers here to just be able to swing onto them.
But um unfortunately we're not able to find the kill, but that will be a okay as we clear the Emory inside of us.
I'm blocking the CDs trying to be put onto my Reaper who got um stunned or slowed later. So, we just want to be chilling here. We don't have the resources to necessarily fight anything and their is going to be fairly strong on the point. So, I'm just going to let my shield get charged back up knowing that I'm going to get healed out or from the kitsune rush healing. So, their team is pressured to back up. Arisa uses our gold really early, which is going to be great for us as we can potentially build our shatter. Unfortunately, spear comes out onto our pin. Our reaper goes down and their uses an alt. I see their Orisa use their javelin again, which is going to be a good trigger for me to look for my pin. See their Emmery on this right side with the speed boost from my Lucio. going to enable me to go for a play onto their Mray finding the shatter onto the Arisa later as well which will take them out of the fight allowing my team with the cool down advantage and the strong numbers from our Bastion form um blowing up the rest of the team on the point and we will be looking in a very very good spot.
Baptist on the right side. main thing that I want to make sure that I'm careful of is into their comp, I want to be keeping my shield for the midfight since my shield is going to be the resource that will allow me to block a lot of cooldowns and utility from their team. So, making sure that I actually have some HP to use it properly in the midfight is going to be fairly important. But, as we see their Emmery looking for some plays onto our support, it's going to be putting us in a somewhat rough spot. So, I'm just going to be trying to connect my bastion.
Unfortunately, just a little bit late, but the Arisa will be going low. Looks like I will be going low as well, though. Hitting a last fire strike to build up a bit more ultimate charge for us so we can have shatter going into this next fight. And despite the unfortunate result of that particular fight, like before, it's going to be okay as long as we are building up our alts properly and making it so that we can use them effectively for the later points or later fight since we're going to be kind of in one fight territory. We have 84% on the board.
It'll be looking in pretty good spot for us. We see the Arisa using their gold.
So, I'm just going to be swinging onto them since the rest of their team isn't going to be shooting me. As the Arisa drops, I want to be taking all of the space that I can and being an actual threat um and pressuring their backline here. As I see their Curico TP to the right, I'm going to be chasing that since um I have my pin ability and I have most of my shield and HP still ready. So, I can continue to actually chase that down using my mobility. Um, only because I had the resources to sustain myself as I walked forward or I went for that play. But that will be winning us that game. 14 and five, 12,000 damage and 18,000 mit. Um, very good. I think Reinhardt can be definitely strong in some places. um they're somewhat easily countered by more mobility based heroes right now. Um since they only have the one pin to sort of get around the map, it can be a little bit difficult sometimes.
But if you're able to position yourself well enough to the point where the enemy team is not able to really get anywhere that they want to be or fight any fights that they want to fight without being inside of your swing range like you saw that Winston um on second point.
Reinhardt can be an extremely strong hero to really shut down places, but we need to be postured and positioning oursel in a way in the pre-fight to deny as much space as possible and become as big of a threat as we can to the enemy.
But with that said, we're going to be one game off of champion. So, let's get right into that next game.
All right, getting into our next game here.
Going to be New Junk City with Kirico Tracer and Mercy Band. I think the Kirao man is somewhat significant. Baptist is going to be a lot stronger as they're going to be one of the best healers sort of like in the support pool, which can dictate a bit more of our tank picks. I think that heroes with the Kurico ban are that are going to be stronger are going to be heroes that play a lot more off that just raw numbers trade. Heroes like that, Raatra, Arisa, um Sigma's Arya perhaps. Um all of these heroes are going to be much stronger especially with Kurico band. Queen is also very good with Kurico band because your bleed effect that heals you is not going to be able to be suzued. So, you will continue healing yourself up. I think for this game though, if this since this is potentially our champ game, we started this entire series on tank playing Arisa. I feel like it'd be fitting to end it on Arisa as well. And it would be quite fitting with this comp as um also. So, we're going to see Nade coming out. Our cassity gets fairly low and they have a div.a. So, as soon as this div.a is out and no longer a threat, it's going to enable us to walk down their backline. But since our div.va went and overextended a bit, we're going to be able to just sort of chunk them down, keep them inside of our space for a longer period of time and we will be able to demech them as soon as the fight starts. Little bit worried about walking through this open space here without armor, but since they don't have a tank, but we do, I'm going to just be kind of chilling on the point.
Um, still playing my cover. Their div.a did just remck, which is going to make things a little bit scary for us. But as their diva does not have their fly, I'm not too concerned about peeling back for my Baptist. But I will be turning around for the Stea once more. Just trying to force them out. Keep them. Now that we're winning the game, we just want to keep winning the game. So denying any threats that we really can and making this diva's life very very hard as they continue to walk into spaces that we are able to punish using our cooldowns. Um we can just be continuously sort of denying any plays that they want to make and we will have our value later in the fight after we deny theirs. So, a concept that I like to talk about in team play quite a bit or whenever I'm coaching sort of newer teams, but your neutral position or sort of like your poke phase is going to be a just kind of like a footsies match where you want to be finding like smaller advantages and punishing anyone or anything that their team wants to do as uh you kind of like bait out and play for your own advantages. But as our Baptist goes down there, I'm going to be messing up my CD cycle once. So, I'm not able to deny their diva from getting onto my Baptist.
So, instead, I'm going to be going for an aggressive play under their backline.
Unfortunately, not quite able to find the kill onto the soldier, but that will be a okay as we're coming up on a bunch of alts here. It will give us a chance if we use them properly to um take this point.
Um but they also have a lot of their own ultimates. Probably the only thing that they don't have is their bomb. But as their diva gets forced out and their Anos is within our range, I'm just going to be walking them down, making it very hard for their Lucio beat to be used effectively.
And as their soldier is split from the rest of their team, I'm going to be looking for a play onto them. My Lucio following up wonderfully.
And as their Lucio is going to be looking to get a play onto us, I'm going to be trying to punish it. I could have alted there to live. Um, but I figured that I would be able to get the mega, unfortunately. And a little bit of a misjudgment from me. I also probably could have used my pull ability to guarantee the kill onto the soldier earlier in the fight. Those would have been two opportunities where I could have used my ultimate that might have been able to win, but since I missed both of them, we will be losing that fight. Really sucks. Um, but will happen. Important not to really get too down on yourself about it. And just look forward to how you can use that knowledge and those mistakes for the next few points and the next fights.
Um, and with that said, thinking about the next fights here, I think that with my pull, it'll make him really really good to just kind of like open the fight. If I see their div.a booster at all, I'm going I could kind of deny any space that they'd want to take with my pull as I kind of yank them back in and effectively cut out most of their uh most of the distance they could cross with their fly. But in the meantime, since I'm their diva is not in a position to really get onto anyone important for our team, I'm just going to be chilling on the point. I think that I will pull this Lucio back and look for a kill there as this will also demech their div.a, forcing them to bomb. Um, this is a little bit of a scary spot for me, but as Oh, okay. Um, as my team is somewhat like chilling and playing a bit more aggressively with me, I think they'll be able to go for it. I also have my gold back up in a second, which would allow me to sustain myself within their space for a while. But, as our Baptist is not quite here yet, I don't want to be taking too much damage that my Lucio can't heal. So, I'm just going to be chilling, finding a nice spear onto their Lucio as they walk through these chokes and pressuring their Anna to walk into my team's LOS.
But unfortunately, their Emory alt is going to find quite a bit of value onto our team and it'll make things a little bit more difficult for us. Um, and we'll lose us a fight, but that will be okay >> as we will have our dragon blade coming up here fairly soon. is I'm thinking about how I might want to enable my dragon blade. There are a few threats I might want to mark out. I want to be mark if there are two different angles that their team is kind of playing through, it'd be good for me to deny one of them and let my Genji sort of frag on the other. So, I think with their team postured in the way that they are, my team is going to be very it's going to be hard for my team to walk up as their div.a is still going to be within their effective range.
And my dragon blade will unfortunately get beatated. But my Genji aura their emay off the map somehow. Soldier on that flank is something important to note. And we can be basing our positioning off of it later.
And as their diva looks to back up for our team, we just want to be taking the space here. there. Anna fortunately misses the sleep dart onto us. As I get nated, I'm just going to be popping my gold as it's going to be fairly integral that I live here. Diva's getting onto my backline. I really don't like that. So, I'm just going to be popping my pull to pull them away.
Um, Sleep Dark comes out from the Anna and Lucio I hear behind me. So, I'm just going to immediately turn around, cutting the loss of the Anna and the Mray and making it so that we can just clear our space inside of us. As we have our window and our sojourn and alt, I want to be baiting their team a little bit more into this open space since that's where our ultimates that we have are really going to shine where if I were to play a little bit closer range towards the choke, my baptist and Sojurnn would also be pressured to fight up with me to find any big value, which will make it much more difficult for them to actually win the fight with their ultimates. But since we backed up, since we gave that initial choke point and allowed our Baptiste and our Sojourn to fight in the space that was really good for them, pulling the enemy team into that open space, we're going to enable our teammates the best that we can while still finding our own value.
So, thinking here there, we see their Anna walking on that right side. We don't have any ultimates, but I believe that they do. They're coming close on their visor, their nano, and their soldier emer. So, I might go for a bit more of an aggressive play here and maybe not deny their diva as much, but we are able to pressure out their Emory um alt and their nano. So, as our team is going down, there's going to be very little chance that I can actually turn this fight. So, the thing that I'm going to do is kind of like cut our losses.
I'm going to be walking onto the point and stalling as much time as possible to make it so that they're not able to get as much percentage onto the cap. Um, then if I didn't just walk to point after we already lost that fight since they committed two alts. Soldier on that really far right side. It's going to make it rather hard for my team to actually deal with. Um, so with that soldier on right side, Anna on that back main, we're very close to our dragon blade. I think that we can be playing a little bit more poke style here. Kind of sucks when they have the point already controlled, but sometimes necessary because if we force anything here, the space is just going to be a little bit too much for us to cross with our cooldowns.
So, it'll make it very difficult for our team. Div.A's get flying into our backline. I'm immediately just going to turn around to peel that and then I will be turning for the point later. But it's going to be really important once we get into the sort of like big brawl phase that my Baptist remains alive. So I'm taking away the threat. Oh my god.
Um huge be coming out from my Lucio.
Div.A's flying onto the point and we still need to be sitting here to get the cap. Um Div.A kind of flying onto my Baptist once more. But as their team is getting a lot of value out of this main area, I'm just going to be kind of walking it down. Diva wants to be peeling me, so I'm going to pay attention to that very early and then dodge it the best that I can. But unfortunately, I will be going down in the process.
um kind of really put us in a bad spot there. for me getting hit by that bomb as I was not able to force out any threats um in the midfight which makes things really really really difficult later but that will be a okay I still I still think that this game is very very wable and thinking about the next two points I think that they're going to be quite good for us as Arisa so we're able to force fights a little bit closer range and we're able to brawl a little bit easier and cut corners bit better.
Making sure that our team is somewhat healed up before we really start taking a bunch of space. Poking out this div.a's resources as much as possible.
But as the Emirate alt gets used onto our Sojurnn as well as the B. I'm going to be trying to take whatever aggression that I can, but as they just continue to dump in alts to our team. We're not going to have many options to fight back since I can't kill anything through the beat drop. I'm not able to fight the Emory alt. Um I think it was nanoed as well.
So, it'll make things just very very difficult for our team to sustain that fight. But we have both of our support alts online and we just swap to the Symmetra. will be a little bit easier in dealing with that diva soldier on that right side. We're just going to throw a few shots at them to make things a bit easier for us. So, our team is leaning towards this right side. I'm going to be also postured here just trying to help us clear the best that I can with our TP onto the point. It's going to peel the attention of some of their team. And I remembered that their Anna was actually on this low ground. So, I'm going to be punishing that by flipping through that right side and then stepping onto their Mray a bit later.
Making sure that you're just sort of keeping like a mental map and then like actually using your object permanence to remember important or valuable targets as the fight sort of shifts. So, as most of them backed up into that sort of like mega area, um it's I think that's very valuable for me to remember that their Anna actually went somewhere different somewhere else.
Even though their diva is kind of in a good spot, I'm going to be remaining here as if I'm able to force out their Emory completely, then I'm able to turn around and clear the other threats inside of our space. As our Lucio starts getting a bit active, I'm going to be walking down their Emory once more since that's going to make things really, really difficult for our team to deal with later. Now, it's time for me to turn and clear our space. This is going to be using our sort of positional advantage that we have from winning the previous fight, as well as we get an amazing stagger onto Anna. If I'm able to get a DME onto this Diva, it's going to be put us in a really nice spot. But I think with that fly being used from their diva, they're not going to be able to get a touch and it'll be taking this game to a 22 match point for our champion rank. Um, very very winnable as well as very very loable. This point's going to be a little bit harder for us as it is not as close range and there is not as many corners for us to really surprise their shooters with. So, my pathing needs to be a lot better better. So, I might be utilizing our team's teleporters a bit more to cross these sort of more open spaces, but I'm able to force out their beat drop rather early. And if I see anyone on this right side, I can maybe go be going for a boot play. But it looks like we're going to be committing wall.
Um, wonderful flip though from our team.
And unfortunately, as our Lucio goes down, that will be call probably the curtain call. I'm just trying to block as many pellets from the div.a that I can as I die there. Even though I would have lived longer if I was blocking the shots from the Mray instead, as it would have been doing more damage to get me off the point sooner, I want to be stalling or making it as hard for them to build their mech back as possible since now that we have ultimates on the board, we can actually be playing fairly aggressive as we don't have a div.a to really stop anything. So now their div.a is just going to be remcking and it's going to be a second too late and we will be able to match their Emory alt with our Arisa pull. Their diva goes down. Their Lucia wants to be touching the point. I'm going to be trying to spin them off and we will be pushing them away far enough to get the cap on the point and we'll be winning that fight. Really good spot for us. So, it's also kind of a scary spot to be as well.
So, I'm going to be making sure that I'm able to actually fight the people that I need to fight and controlling the space that I need to control. Um, I'm going to be holding this right side area because even though it's a little bit further away from the central choke, it's going to control this coside area, which I'm very scared about since if they took that coside area with an ultimate ability like that nano visor, it would have been making the game very, very, very hard for us.
Unfortunately, denying that threat alone was not going to be enough as the rest of their team just sort of stepped onto ours. Um, but we were able to get out quite a few ultimates there. I don't know exactly how many, but an amazing kill onto the soldier. Making sure that their team is not in a position to sort of trade out anywhere, but another amazing kill. Now they're down two members. As long as we don't get too hasty here. Take a deep breath. remember the fundamentals, the basics. Their team is forced and pressured to make big plays and miracles happen, but we are not. So, we don't need to be forcing any miracles to happen as the rest of their team is walking back. I'm just going to be posturing myself in a way that can deny any point touches with my ultimate.
Soldier on that right side, Emry on that main, and we will be winning that game.
Very, very close. came down to the wire a few times, but ending 25 and 8, >> 17,000 damage, we were able to start this series on tank on Arisa.
And I think with all of the lessons that we've sort of been through, at least for tank so far, that will be putting us right into champion five.
Feels good. It took a while. Um, honestly, I'm I'm not too used to it taking this long to get to champion. Um, I'll actually put a the video in the description. Normally, whenever I try to get to higher ranks quickly, as quickly as I can. I want to be maximizing my performance. In which to do so, I basically just like one trick. I just picked two to three heroes at a time that I like really hard grind and practice and my win rate skyrocketing compared to what we've seen in the season. But nonetheless, we were still able to make things educational. We still able to talk through a wide variety of heroes. And while I'm speaking like that this series is going to be over once we hit champ, I'm still going to keep going. Um, it's only going to be the end for this episode, but I will still be rotating and Tank will be in the lineup and in the rotation just just as usual. Um, we'll be seeing how high we can get while still playing this bit more of a flexbased play style as well as me talking through my thought process that allows me to push into the deeper depths of champ since I am capable of doing that on each roll as well. Um though I'm not sure how capable I am while playing a wide variety of heroes. We'll see. Um but with all that said and done, I think that will be the end for today's episode. So, thank you guys so much for watching and I will see you tomorrow.
Bye-bye.
