Massie: Undecided women key to victory Tuesday, as President Trump attacks bring donations

[00:00:00]Here in Kentucky, we are one day away from the hottest primary in the nation with the national focus on the fourth district congressional race as Republican Thomas Massie in the fight for his political life against Donald Trump's handpicked candidate Farmer Ed Gallrein, former Navy SEAL from Shelbyville, Kentucky.

[00:00:21]Massie was doing a campaign swing through the area of Louisville on Friday night. He told us that he believes undecided women will be the key for any possible victory on Tuesday night.

[00:00:33]Uh and also young voters where Thomas Massie in the latest poll leads by a wide margin. I also talked to Kurt Spalding. He is a professor of political science at Spalding University here in Louisville.

[00:00:49]Today, he told me that Massie wins but by the slimmest of margins.

[00:00:55]He believes that Kentuckians will give him the edge because they're like people in other states. They don't want to be told who to select, told who they have to select for their own candidate.

[00:01:07]Again, they want to be independent on that. They don't want that direction coming down from Washington. He said they he believes Massie wins by one to two percentage points and that it will be young libertarians who become on the anti-Trump side that will give him the edge.
