Charity Waweru feels like our government has what we call misplaced priorities.Added:
mind the counties that have registered a lot of a lot of Kenyans into into share that is based of reports that you do have and you can't dispute it. But we have also have have to go further and ask, fine, these people are registered, are they paid up? And if they're not paid up, where is the failure? Did this communication get to them? Were they involved in this entire ecosystem of of of setting up this system? But then again, there is also the aspect of pending bills. Most of hospitals today are saying we are unable to offer these services because the government of Kenya has not paid us for services rendered.
How big a problem is that in terms of Kenyans accessing health care?
It's a big problem because again, I feel like our government have what we call misplaced priorities. They they place their priorities wrongly, you know. I'll back Beatrice up cuz about you can't tell me you're spending 17 billion, State House, and kuna hospitali hawajalipwa sha.
There was a time a campaign online to push for sha payment to be published. And we pushed for it, we pushed.
I wonder why. I wonder. You can't tell me kuna bado kuna kesi ilikuwa imekuja ati one person is getting four open heart surgeries in a day and they have been paid for fully by sha. One woman is giving birth 10 times in an year na imelipwa na sha. Whereas we have people who have kidney failures. Literally, they need dialysis. But It does not make sense. Misplaced priorities again. And I want to tell Aliyonya, I'm not switching the blame. I'm not saying that we we can't blame I'm saying, has the national government also failed? Has the president also failed?
Because again, the same way you're blaming the the MP, you can't fully take the away from the president. He has also the manifesto again I'll go back to the manifesto it was a manifesto of William Ruto president not whoever the senator has voted vote. It doesn't make sense.
And me being loud that does not change the situation in public hospitals. It does not change the fact that Kenyans are dying because it is not paid for them. Again, if you elected
