When political leaders prioritize national security objectives over domestic economic concerns, the resulting policies can significantly impact citizens' financial situations, as demonstrated by how trade tariffs and military conflicts can raise prices for everyday goods and harm agricultural sectors.

“I Don’t Care About Americans Financial Situation” — TrumpAdded:
When you're negotiating with Iran, Mr. President, to what extent are Americans financial situations motivating you to make a deal?
>> Not even a little bit. The only thing that matters when I'm talking about Iran, they can't have a nuclear weapon.
I don't think about American financial situation. I don't think about anybody.
I think about one thing. We cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon. That's all.
Now, I know I'm late to the party on this whole situation, and we're going to break it all down within this video, but guys, this is what where we are right now within this whole situation. It blows my mind. I truly cannot make this up. But let's dive a little bit deeper into it. I'll get my perspective a little bit later on. Let's check this out.
>> Trump just went on Fox News and doubled down on saying he doesn't care about the Americans and their financial situation.
This was after two days of all the maggamorons saying that they don't uh that that he was taken out of context that he didn't really mean that Britt Bear boy was trying everything. He was trying everything to say please please say this was taken out of context and Trump's just like no that's exactly what I said.
I got the clip right here. Here it is.
rats and political pundits uh jumped jumped all over this statement that you made the other day. You were asked on the when you were leaving.
>> What extent are American financial situations motivating you to make a deal?
>> Not even a little bit. The only thing that matters and I'm talking about Iran, they can't have a nuclear weapon. I don't think about American financial situation. I don't think about anybody.
I think about one thing. You cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon.
That's right. That's a perfect statement. I make it again.
>> You can imagine how many people stop the sound bite at >> I don't think about America situation.
So what's your response to that framework?
>> It's very simple. When people hear me say it, everybody agrees. Short-term pain. It's going to be short-term pain, but the pain is much less. He just makes y'all look like fools over and over and over again and y'all just keep coming back to drink from the troling love it. Iing love it because y'all can't get enough of it and I can't get enough of it either.
Oh man, every day it's something else.
Y'all just have to keep keep saying it's okay. Keep making excuses for him. Keep making excuses for him. And then he just comes right back over you and says, "No, no, that's exactly what I did. That's exactly what I mean."
>> Yeah. What y'all going to say? Is it AI finally now? Is that what y'all going to say?
>> Yeah. And that's the thing. It's like on con constantly over and over again.
There's some new goalpost, some new news that's coming out, and you know, they're trying to move the goalpost every single time, guys. But truly, and this is my perspective on it, and I know a lot of y'all are wondering, oh, what do you think about it, right? And wow. And I try to be as unbiased and objective as possible, and I'm going give my opinion on it, guys. Let's be real. I get exactly what Trump is saying, right? I and I'm not defending him in any kind of way because it is ludicrous what he said 100%. Basically what he's saying is by any means possible he doesn't care right he just doesn't want Iran to have a nuclear weapon right that's basically his rationale that's what he's saying and while that statement on the baseline on the surface level is 100% correct because if if Iran gets a nuclear weapon or any of these other countries you know and they're threatening the the safety of THE UNITED STATES 100% you want to dismantle that position right I get it but that's not what is going on that's not what that actually means and what he's saying. He's saying he's basically saying and and on top of everything else with the tariffs and all these other things, he doesn't care about America's financial situation. He doesn't care and that is the issue. People understand that he doesn't care and it's shown through some of the actions that have been taking place over the past couple months. Even since he's got into office, we started off we started the year off with tariffs, right? Massive tariffs, 50% tariffs, 100% tariffs on countries like China and massive exporters. India, I think, was in there as well. Massive tariffs, right, which cause prices to go up once again. Then later on, you know, you got a government shutdown. You have all these massive pieces that also affected Americans as well with the big beautiful bill and massive cuts through healthcare and all these different things. And now we are now in an official war of course that also raise gas prices and is going to cause Americans to pay a lot more at the pump as well as within their everyday lives.
So you add all those three pieces and it makes sense why people are fed up with when he's saying he doesn't care about America's financial situation. And the baseline of what they ask is during this war right here that you start you decided to start. Do you is is any is does are you motivated faded by any way to push this alone because of the American situation right that that's all they were asking and you came out and said no not at all. You don't care about the financial situations of Americans.
All you care about is the war and whatever kind of deal you got on with our allies you know Israel and all those people overseas. That's all he cares about. And that is the problem that a lot of people have guys because yeah, the reality is he came out and say he doesn't care and people are still not going to believe it, which is the insane part about all this. But anyways, there's so many different perspectives about this guys. Let's check this out because the farmers are getting demolished right now. Here's another, you know, situation. There is only one possible explanation for what Donald Trump just said. That is that Donald Trump hates low-income bluecollar workingclass Americans. Because of course last week he said he doesn't think about gas prices at all when it comes to attacking the country that controls the world's oil. Yesterday when he was asked about gas prices in front of the future construction site for his $400 million ballroom, he said, >> "And this is peanuts."
>> A truly insane thing to say given that gas prices this Memorial Day weekend are up 42% from last year. But peanuts, Donald, you stepped in it. Because peanuts have dropped in price by about $120 a ton this year due entirely to retaliatory tariffs and Donald Trump's trade war. And given that the United States is actually one of the world's largest peanut exporters, that drop in price is equal to about 380 million lost dollars for American peanut farmers in just one year. See, peanuts are already the most expensive southern row crop in the United States. In 2025, growing them cost about $1,181 per acre. That cost is projected to rise to $1,213 per acre this year. For a comparison, the cost of growing wheat is only about $400 an acre. But because of the rising cost of inputs against global competition, peanut farmers in the United States were already struggling. Now, thanks to Donald Trump's tariffs, peanut farmers are losing an astonishing $392 per acre, leaving American peanut farmers up creek without a paddle. Actually, scratch that. He did give them a little tiny paddle like a little toy about the size of Donald's pinky because the farm relief bill that took effect in January gives struggling American peanut farmers 55 whole dollars per acre to help cover a whopping 14% of the losses they're suffering due to Donald Trump's economy and less than half of the cost of just his retaliatory tariffs alone. So if when Donald Trump says >> this is peanuts, >> he means gas prices have dropped by something like 25% due to his stupidity, I am sorry to say that is not the case.
But if when he says >> this is peanuts, >> he's metaphorically referring to another situation where he out of malice or incompetence helped ruin the lives of working Americans, then I am pleased to say, "Congratulations, Donald." That is a perfect metaphor.
>> When I look at this and all, it's always important to understand and do your research as to where we are on the updates of the situation, right? They apparently were, you know, close to coming to a deal, right? they were apparently close to, you know, having uh you know, something something resolved, but you know, it continues to delay and delay and delay uh basically what is going on. Like I I just don't get it.
And even when we talk about gas prices, they are still very very high. We're talking about $4.35 and we're not going to, you know, overnight get this down to back to $3 or even $2 in certain situations. It's going to take a while, right? Like it's going to take they I think they projected it. They said like six years to get back to, you know, regular prices. So, we don't know. It's unfortunate to see. But yes, on the topic of the farmers of what he's dealing with, yes, 100%. They are dealing with so many different aspects.
And you got the bailout bills and all these different things, but is it really solving the situation versus actually putting a band-aid on it? It didn't even put a band-aid on it. It gave them a little bit of ointment for a day and then, you know, you got the rest of the week to still, you know, deal with those scars. But let's check out this last perspective on this, guys.
>> Yeah. The same people telling me if I don't like America under Trump, then leave are the same people who spent eight years crying, screaming, whining, and posting conspiracy theories, acting like Obama and Biden personally broke into their trailers and pissed in their cereal.
>> Yeah.
>> I mean, these are the same people who slapped don't tread on me stickers on everything they owned and then turned around and deepthroated government authority the second their guy got in power. I mean, suddenly free speech means agree with me or get the hell out.
Patriotism means worshiping one man like he's some orange messiah wrapped in a flag. I mean, y'all went from rebels to bootlickers so fast it gave the country whiplash. You cried about government overreach. Then you celebrate ICE raids, book bans, and politicians policing people's bedrooms, doctors, libraries, and marriages. You called yourself patriots while attacking your own capital because your guy lost. And now you want to lecture me about loving America. No. See, that's the difference between us. I love this country enough to call out corruption, hypocrisy, and authoritarian No matter who's in office, you love a politician. You wrapped your entire personality around one man and called it patriotism. And let me make something crystal clear.
Real Americans don't threaten their neighbors with leave the country every time somebody disagrees with them.
That's dictatorship. That's cult. That's weak people pretending to be strong.
America was built on dissent.
Questioning power is literally the most American thing there is. So no, I'm not leaving. You don't own this country.
Trump and MAGA doesn't own this country.
And some of us are still willing to fight like hell for the part of America that believes freedom belongs to all of us, not just the people wearing your red hats. Facts. That is the facts, guys.
And when we look at this, seriously, that's what it is. And people I've I'm I'm telling you, I remember vividly during the pandemic, especially the moment Trump lost that election back in 2020. I remember from then on all the way up to 2024. I mean, it was complaints, complaints, complaints. It was so bad. It was so bad because of Biden, Biden sucked. Biden this, Biden did that. All these different things. I mean left and right, which is how Trump got in office because all this propaganda or narrative that that administration was the worst administration of all time. It was horrible and horrible when in actuality they didn't understand the facts. I'm not saying that Biden administration was perfect. You know, Obama administration was perfect. But what I am telling you is a lot of people are just misinformed with a lot of this. And a lot of people support the person and not the party, right? they don't support the party or understand the policies of what that party actually represents. That is the problem. That is the issue that we will always face until the end of time because people just don't do the research. They go based off of what feels good versus what actually is happening. Right? Anyways, y'all let me know what y'all think about this down in the comment section below.
