[00:00:01][music] >> The whole Kalou by-election is shaping up nicely. In fact, this will be the first time in history that UDA and DCP are meeting at the ballot to contest for a parliamentary seat. And the whole purpose of this video is to highlight for you how the party primaries went down for DCP and UDA. And so, with no further ado, let's get after it. Number one, the UDA by-election was a total embarrassment. When you even look at the person who won, Allan Samuel Muchina Nyaga, his numbers were very disappointing to say the least. Just have a look at this infographic for instance. Samuel Muchina Nyaga wins UDA party nominations for Kalou by-election by 1,167 votes. 1,167 votes. What the heck? A thousand? That is less than the people in Quiver on a Monday. Any who, it seems UDA already knew they'll get embarrassing numbers in the whole Kalou party primary because I've seen such as these.

[00:01:16]So, to avoid the embarrassment, what did they do? They started paying people 200 shillings to just go and vote, and we have the evidence. Roll the tape.

[00:01:40]And despite the 200 shillings on offer, people opted to stay outside, canvas, and record videos such as these.

[00:02:14]>> Now also worth noting, Moses Kuria and Dennis Itumbi showed up for the by-election and this is what the people told them to their face.

[00:03:08]Now on the DCP side, everything proceeded quite wonderfully if you ask me. First up, this was the turnout.

All ballots were literally sealed so it was not correct and the seal was broken in the full glare of all contestants and all interested parties. Here's a tip.
