[00:01:05]>> It's like I don't think I've worn this one in the last two weeks. Let me put that on. All right. Good morning. Um we'll begin with temperatures and radar.

[00:01:14]Our temperatures are in the 40s. So, it's a chilly and raw and damp morning, but it's not raining in many spots.

[00:01:23]There isn't any rain falling across southern and western areas. And the showers just tapered off in Bangor, too.

[00:01:30]Why am I so off the screen? So weird.

[00:01:33]Um, and the showers are just um moving north of Bangor, too. And they're up in the Highlands here and also into the mountains. So, it's not going to rain that much for the morning commute. We're in pretty good shape for this morning's commute. The evening commute may be a different story, however. So, we've got this low slowly entering the northeast and it will slowly move through into part. So, we're not truly going to see improvements until Saturday morning. And there's this offshore storm. We don't have radars out over the water, but if we did, it would be like all yellows, oranges, and reds in here. Tropical like rains. And some of this moisture is going to get injected into this storm as it moves through, leading to some heavier downpours for us later today and into tonight. in parts of our state. So, mainly cloudy, cool and damp, just some spotty showers, maybe a little drizzle for you, but there will be sun in eastern Maine. And there'll be some breaks of it all the way through the middle of the day, boosting temperatures up close to 60 in Bangor. All of southern and western Maine, though, you're staying in the 50s today with some spotty showers during the middle of it. By the evening commute, things begin to break down, though. We'll start to see some isolated or spotty showers in eastern Maine. So, not completely dry here later today. And the radar is going to fill in for Portland, Lewon, all the way back into New Hampshire. And we're likely going to have some heavy downpours fill in during the evening commute, making it more challenging for you to get home this evening. We pick up the story at midnight tonight. A lot of this rain will be falling steadily across the southern half of the state and there will be additional downpours tonight as that moisture from the offshore storm gets into New England.

[00:03:19]Morning time tomorrow. We still have steady rain, but there's not as much yellows out there, but we're still not I see you guys trying to adjust me a little bit right now. I see it. Uh we're still not going to see dry weather until tomorrow afternoon. That's when the showers finally begin to fall apart. And then tomorrow evening, we'll start to see the clouds break up and that'll clear us out for the weekend. The access of heaviest rain will be over southern and western areas likely including Portland and Lewon all the way up through Augusta. Notice very little to nothing for Washington County and Austa County and points north. But some of this rain in here will be 1 to 2 in with locally higher amounts, especially as you go up into the elevations there.

[00:04:02]Saturday, the pattern flips and it doesn't go back to the rainy one for a while. We're going to see some very warm temperatures and a lot of sun over this weekend, reaching the 70s both Saturday and Sunday. There may be a brief shower that pops up in Sunday's heat as this front gets closer and then eventually moves through, but it's still looking like a lot of sunshine on that day, too.

[00:04:25]Mostly sunny on Monday, a little cooler because of a seab breeze. And then some real heat tries to work in for the middle of next week. We may get a taste of summer on Tuesday and Wednesday, 80 plus. Small crafts go into effect this afternoon. Seas 2 to 4 feet and a southeast wind 10 to 20 knots. Scattered showers this morning become a steadier rain this evening. 50s showers continue until tomorrow afternoon. Saturday, mostly sunny, 70 to 75. Mid to upper 70s on Sunday, isolated shower, beautiful on Monday, either side of 70. And then kind of hot middle of next week, 80 to 85 on Tuesday and Wednesday with a chance for some afternoon thunderstorms.
