Constitutional courts may suggest that certain constitutional issues require resolution through referendum rather than parliamentary decision alone, as the constitution belongs to the people and some matters should be decided by citizens directly.

ED CAB3 FACING A SHIPWRECK AS CONSTITUTIONAL JUDGES HINT ON REFERENDUM TO RESOLVE SOME ISSUESAñadido:
[music] [music] >> ED cab three facing a shipwreck is constitutional judges hint on referendum to resolve some issues.
I mean I mean I mean this is the kind of development that took place today. Remember this was the first day that the constitutional court set on this cab three challenge and within the deliberations for one of the judges indicator on some of the issues that are cited in both these challenges. Remember because it near also so they also are citing quite a lot of different issues and of course the pointing out ED should not have set or monitored or witnessed or overseen the the cabinet endorsement of that thing when he is actually the beneficiary of it which is one of the issues that have been raised by the the war veteran. So in the deliberations it seems like that also some sentiments from judges that some of the issues might need to be resolved by a referendum. So that word that word referendum really is a word that Zimbabwean people are crying about. We are crying for it. To that I would say referendum is very important.
But uh we left to look at how many of the judges will continue.
watching my name in the committee. Uh some issues would do would need the referendum. Well, the truth truth be said over this issue.
Uh these are things that are written in black and white. Do you know what you Apart from my interpretations are not your especially when this thing is in the constitutional court. Remember, it's the constitution uh that is being heard in the constitutional court. So, the constitutional court you know to make correct interpretation. It is clear about the constitution.
It is supposed to be the constitutional court. Because it needed clear interpretation of the constitution. And then we will call So, my judges are Yeah, otherwise they will not see that.
The the correct interpretation of the of the of the constitution they will not see that.
And what this means is that. So, it's written in black and white with the issues that would need to go back to the people. Issues that even the constitutional court are in a right to to to to to to deny.
Right? But issues of the constitutional court are in a power.
Remember, the constitution is a draft that is by the people. So, the owners of the constitution are the masses, the people of Zimbabwe, the citizens. So, the constitutional court custodian you could say that the law that is written in the constitution, but I have no right to to block uh the owners of the constitution themselves who are the people or the masses of Zimbabwe from finally giving a decision.
But the decision of the constitutional court I It is really the highest court in the land. I can't because in English you know to wake up under the constitution.
So, the constitution can you court can I just stand up under the constitution.
Then the constitution it is Zimbabweans. Then the constitutional court are in a right Iran be the Zimbabweans upper decision over a certain constitutional issue, right? I open the with the decision whereby running for clearly could be in your you know going in that direction.
Of which those those are some of the things talk is kind of Zimbabwe kind of free.
My judges you are in constitutional court you are I know you talk is because of this issue.
I got to go in that direction and I want to see Zimbabwe. So after I come to Zimbabwe running to Africa though the only way I feel I should be protected.
Right? Even my judge you are in the same judges I got judge cool your 2017 you got to get out of here illegal and you are wrong with those.
So at this point running to support Zimbabwe because I feel because I 2017 you know you got to move away number one you know you got to move a soldier.
Eagles you are my judges remember you got to go to my court you are court you are my judge it was lawful.
I don't know what I got you are you are I don't know what I got you are you are you visited in a proper constitutional republic.
So for them to be safe money running to Africa but you got to go to Africa but you got to go to Africa and you are going to go to Africa to protect otherwise you got to go to Africa to protect.
>> So it's now a a matter of life and death, man, when it comes to when I get a son of a woman, so As you really want to chew on the cha cha cha what you see me So I little bit of these sentiments But good judgment to go to the show choir. Yes, this is also very possible.
The Constitutional Court of Zimbabwe today reserved judgment in two cases challenging constitutional amendment bill three during hearings in Harare today.
The judges focused heavily on the issue of timing, repeatedly asking the lawyer representing the litigants, my Professor Lovemore Madhuku, whether the application applications were not premature and whether it might not it might be better to wait until the entire legislative process had been completed before approaching the court.
On the judges one of the judges, rather, Justice Ben Hlatshwayo suggested that some of the contentious issues could potentially be resolved through referendum.
The remarks appeared to signal that the bench may be more inclined towards allowing citizens to decide on the proposed constitutional changes through a referendum rather than allowing the amendment to pass solely through parliament without direct public approval.
However, the true position of the court will only become clear once the judges deliver their ruling. The matter was reserved to allow the bench time to consider the arguments presented by all parties before handing down the judgment. So like I said, yes >> This proceeding even broadcast live for the benefit of the citizens of Zimbabwe.
Well, but I get that spiritual message.
I asked the Holy Spirit could you call then It's not going to the plan of God for Zimbabwe before you.
Maybe because Parliament has come on.
I don't know That does not matter.
Don't worry about that.
Right?
Let's continue praying. The word of the Lord will never fall to the ground.
Right?
Through the valley of the shadow of death, we went through the water, through the rivers, through the fire.
I should promise that you I will take you out of this. You should go down.
Return my testimony. It's the total amount of testimony beer. the faithfulness of this God.
for 5 months in your question is your mind watch out men of God months with confidence and with power and authority is because we know the God we serve.
BP policy BP policy BP policy I think that's going to my friend though.
BP I ate pants. I ate pants.
dirty BP policy BP policy BP BP BP policy And then you will never ever let his word fall to the ground.
I the court must give green light to Cape so that the plan of God can work.
Thank you so much Edwin.
>> God Oh.
What was that about to do with you?
WHAT ARE YOU SURE.
TELL ME WHAT TO DO. JUST JUST JUST.
SECOND PLACE Google my constitutional court new place at the parliament.
Sega Let us hold on to the word that comes from above. The word of God.
I'm being in a prayer.
>> [laughter] >> I am at the grace of Tabitha.
for Zimbabwe. Who bought cancer The my Never had to smoke BP The one I I'm the same God. I will occupy the same way that again.
Don't walk by sight.
>> Praise the Lord. What do you claim that all things work together for good for those that love God and those that are called according to his purposes?
Freedom is coming. Let's keep praying.
Let's keep believing.
