Nurse's Week - part 2

[00:00:00]Hey, well, I'm driving, but I did go to my second job. And now I got me another bag. So, I wanted to show you guys.

[00:00:10]This is cute. It's a little lip balm for all you chap chap lip white chap lip people that's nurses, you got to get yourself some of this. And then they got a nice little pen.

[00:00:24]Come in the room. Come in the room. Come in the room. I love that guy who does that. Anyway, yeah. Um, got that. Got a t-shirt. Got a Okay, cuz nurses get thirsty.

[00:00:38]Got a cup. And it's a stainless steel.

[00:00:41]You know those stainless steel cups is not cheap. Okay. Got me a t-shirt.

[00:00:47]Should have got a extra extra extra large. Anyway, but I'm going to squeeze my big booty in that. So anyway, if I stopped eating all them snacks, then I wouldn't have that problem now, would I?

[00:01:00]But anyway, I'm not getting on here to talk about no more nurses week. I have just a few minutes before I go into work cuz I'm at work, but I'm not inside yet because it's not time for me to clock in. Anyway, so what I want to do is those eyes are terrible. Okay, let's keep these shades on cuz that look like a hot mess. I need a eye transplant or something. Anyway, Anyway, okay. I was just I just had a thought and so since I had a thought, I was like, you know what? Let me get on here cuz I bet you other people might be having the same thought that I'm having.

[00:01:41]So anyway, I was thinking about therapy, right? Okay. Cuz if anybody knows me, my life is going cray cray. But um you know on Facebook we all look pretty good. We look like we happy. We look like we doing a whole lot of stuff. People be like, "Oh, you got that nurse money?"

[00:01:59]Mm- No, no, no, no, no. I got them nurse bills.

[00:02:05]Oh yeah, and by the way, I did not get lunch. They didn't order it by the time I stopped by there. So I did not get lunch, but I did got me some strawberry lemonade from Arby's.

[00:02:19]It's decent. Now, it's not as good as Big Mama's, but it's decent. And I got me a little French fries, too. And I'm good. I don't need nothing else anyway.

[00:02:31]Oh, man. I keep forgetting to put my phone on do not disturb when I go online because if I don't then, as you can hear, minutes. So, all right. I hope I didn't mess anything up. So, I don't know what I'm doing, you guys. I don't.

[00:02:49]I'm just talking because that's what people told me to do. They said, "Get your phone out and tell the story."

[00:02:55]Okay, I'm doing it. Anyway, I'll tell you more about this nurse life that I have because I was a chef before I was a nurse. So, I've got this nurse life.

[00:03:05]I've got this I'm a chef. I'm a nurse.

[00:03:09]I'm a mom with two adult um special needs kids. So, Uh yeah, that's a lot.

[00:03:17]That's like four full-time jobs. Like serious. Um yeah, that's a lot. But anyway, it is what it is. So, I was thinking I'm worn down. I feel like I'm drowning. I'm in a mountain of um you know, debt and everything else cuz everybody's like, "Oh, you got a nice house. You got a Oh, yeah. Okay. But it take a lot of work for that. It's got some bills associated with that. So, what I'm doing right now is I'm regrouping. I am regrouping. And um I'm like, "Okay, maybe I need therapy because that's what people say that that works." But you know what? We've all been getting therapy all along. Even if you don't sign up for, and I'm not saying I'm not against therapy, and I think, you know, it's a great thing. If it works for you, it's a great thing.

[00:04:06]So, like I people say, "Oh, yeah, therapy is good. You should you should get therapy." So, I was like, "Okay."

[00:04:12]So, I signed up for this therapy uh app thing. Well, it's it's a real person, but anyway, I signed up for this therapy. It's a part of my job or whatever that has, you know, how they have employee benefits, right? So, they says, "Oh, these employee benefits, you can get therapy and this and you can talk and whatever like that." Okay, the lady nice and everything, but listen, I will talk to the lady and kind of figure my stuff out. It's not like she really giving me a whole lot of tips to help my life. She just letting me have a conversation and I'm just having a conversation and I'm like, "Okay, is this therapy?" But so that's that's what leads me to this conversation with you guys. Listen, therapy, you don't have to always go out and get a therapist. Now, mind you, if you need a therapist, go get one. Please do. But you don't always have to get a professional therapist all the time because when you call a friend and you talking to your friend, you crying to your friend and whatever like that, that's therapy. When you call your pastor or lay people or you know another person from your church or whatever organization you might be in, you might be a sorer or you know, you know, you might have a a frat, something like that. you call your boy, you know, your home bucket, whatever you want to call it, your best friend, whoever. That's therapy, you guys. That's therapy. As long as you're not in the corner by yourself sucking your thumb, you know, going crazy and you talking to somebody and you're not isolated. Do not be isolated when you're feeling bad, when you feel o overwhelmed. I mean, people be like, "Oh, oh, you you got a great life. You got this. You got that." I'm drowning. I feel like I be drowning, you know? I be like, "Oh my god, I'm freaking drowning because I got bills. I have two special needs kids." My son is con My son climbed out the window. He climbed out the window the other day.

[00:06:14]See, pe I don't tell people what be going on.

[00:06:20]I'm laughing now, y'all. But I was cussing his little behind out. I was like, "Get your, you know, I ain't going to say what I said cuz I don't think I think it's some rules to this YouTube thing. I don't think I can cuss people out." But anyway, y'all know what I said. I said, "Get your Han parts." And I ain't say Han parts, but anyway, I told him, "Get his so and so and so, his donkey behind in the house and whatever." And then I got to get on the GPS and go find him. Y'all, y'all don't know what I go through. I'm telling you, it's cray cray. And I'm like, okay. Oh.

[00:06:56]And I'm like, okay, do I need medicine?

[00:06:59]Uh, no.

[00:07:02]I need to organize. I need to slow down and organize myself and get somebody that will listen to you. Just get somebody. I mean, they might not have your answers for you. And yeah, people's like, "Well, you need to pray." Yeah, I pray. I pray a whole lot all day long cuz I'm always be like, "Lord, help me Jesus. Lord help me Jesus." Constantly.

[00:07:26]But anyway y'all, um it's been crazy crazy. So I'mma get back on here and I'm going to tell y'all some more stuff cuz it be some crazy stuff happening. And I just been like, is it just me or do I just really have a crazy life? I don't know. But people say that I need to get on here and talk. So, uh maybe that's therapeutic because the lady, like I said, the lady that be talking to me is nice and everything, but uh she ain't helping me. She ain't helping me do nothing that I ain't helping myself with. I'm like, "Give me some skills." They And then they asked me a survey. They said, "Is the therapy helping you with skills?" No, it ain't helping me. Hell no. Oh, I ain't supposed to say that. Oh, man.
