Flash flooding reported in Atlanta

[00:00:00]Well, severe weather has slammed the South and the East Coast. In fact, this morning we have a look at the impact on a number of communities.

[00:00:13]>> Good morning. Yeah, we'll take a look at that impact spanning from Texas to Georgia and Pennsylvania. Starting in Texas, severe thunderstorms moved through Austin. The wind snapped tree trunks and limbs fell on top of cars.

[00:00:28]Roads were blocked with those trees and debris.

[00:00:32]In the Philadelphia region of Pennsylvania, more heavy rain and strong winds. Trees fell on homes and power lines and tens of thousands of people were knocked out of electricity. Plus more roads blocked in that area.

[00:00:46]And in Atlanta, Georgia, this video showing drivers stuck on the interstate during rush hour traffic due to flash flooding. This video is showing a car stalled on I-75, I-85 north with the driver on top of the vehicle. Later, another person walked through the water, put that other person on their back, and took them to safety on the grass. So, this morning the cleanup begins throughout the South and up the East Coast. Guys,
