Uzodimma Describes APC Growth As Positive Sign Ahead Of 2027 Elections

[00:00:00]Governor Hope Uzodinma, of Imo State, has secured the All Progressives Congress ticket for the Imo West Senatorial District election. Speaking after participating in the primary election held at the Omuma Central School in Oru East Local Government Area of Imo State, Governor Uzodinma described the growing strength and organic expansion of the APC in Imo as a positive sign ahead of next year's general elections.

And I'm very happy that the grassroots base of our party continue to be strong and stronger as we march towards the 2027 elections. So, it is a good thing that APC has come to stay in Imo State. A good thing that APC members in Imo State have also conducted themselves, particularly given the open ballot secret open secret ballots. The option A4 that we have adopted where that is very transparent. I think so far is the freest and fairest elections that have been conducted around this area for a very long time.
