Why do we view government the way we do?

[00:00:00]We've taken government and elevated it to a position it was never designed to fill because we look at it now as this moral authority or as a source of identity or as a solution to the problems that are not political in nature and a lot of people expect laws to fix the sin in this country and institutions to provide meaning and direction but the government can't do that and yet that's exactly what we've been asking it to do. I think we've been asking legislation to fix what only repentance can fix.
