Hezbollah was formed in 1982 by Lebanese clerics in response to the Israeli invasion of Lebanon, which they said was because of the threat of the Palestine Liberation Organization to Israel. They called it Operation Peace for Galilee, and then Israel occupied Southern Lebanon for 18 years, which they said was because they needed a security zone. See, there are a lot of Palestinians in Lebanon. If we go back even further in time to the 1948 Palestine War, which was a civil war between the Arab and Jewish communities following the UN partition plan, 100,000 of the 730,000 Palestinians that fled or were forced to leave went to Lebanon.
