Democracy Under Attack: ICE at Polls, Sheriff's Role & Your Vote! #shortsAdded:
This is my concern. I'm concerned about the midterms right now. I'm concerned about ICE coming into polling places.
I feel that we need to have conversations now with the Sheriff's Department, with our police departments to talk about what is the plan to de-escalate ICE to make sure that folks can still go to the polls and vote and folks do not feel intimidated or threatened by ICE. So, I think that our democracy is under attack and we need to use all resources at our disposal and that means making sure that the Sheriff's Department and the Police Department are on our side, not the the ICE regime that we're seeing terrorize our state.
