Project 2025, a 930-page policy manual created by the Heritage Foundation, has had 55% of its recommendations implemented under the Trump administration, with Dr. Kevin Roberts, its architect, confirming that federal employment cuts disproportionately affected Black workers who are overrepresented in federal government jobs, while simultaneously implementing policies that benefit the wealthiest Americans through tax cuts.

Creator of Project 2025, Dr. Kevin Roberts, President of the Heritage Foundation Finally Admits ThisAjouté :
For those of you who've been rocking with our channel now for several years, actually since I've been doing these videos, you might recall me doing many videos on Project 2025.
I actually started doing those videos in 2023, even before they posted the so-called mandate, Project 2025, mandate of leadership.
And as such, I took those opportunities via video to warn the African-American community as much as I could that voting for Trump, helping reelect reelect Trump in any way would be a disaster for the African-American community.
I went about all over social media speaking out very strongly again the tail end of 2023 all of 2024 and unfortunately Trump was reelected and everything that I said would happen has happened and is happening and will happen unless we can take the house in November of this year.
Well, the architect of the project 2025 mandate for leadership, that 930 page right-wing far-right manual.
I would call it a white supremacist mandate.
That man, Dr. Kevin Roberts recently did a video on C-SPAN.
I watched every second of that video and quite frankly listening to this man talk just really reinforced in such a mighty way what's wrong with this country quite frankly.
He said some things that I want to react to specifically.
So, let's go to another screen and you're going to see for yourself why this person is so objectionable for us African-American people.
All right, let's get started. That is Dr. Kevin Roberts.
>> Did the president implement project 2025 in these first this first year plus of his second term? Well, thanks for that question because since 1980, Heritage has been offering presidential transition projects, which we generally call mandate for leadership, what's known as project 2025, was done on such a scale that we proposed 1,913 recommendations.
155 as we sit here have been implemented. The person who deserves credit for that is one Donald J. Trump.
If we played a role through our policy scholarship, through message testing and helping to craft public opinion upstream of electoral politics, that's great.
Heritage exists not to take credit, but to offer great ideas. And so, we're excited not only about the progress that's been made with Project 2025, but also excited about the fact that, as we have done since the summer of 1980, every single day, we're preparing for the next election cycle.
>> What?
>> Wow. Wow. Wow. All right. So he confirms that a little bit over half of what they proposed in that mandate, that manual have been implemented under the leadership and because of the leadership of Donald Trump.
And one of the things I told you consistently about Project 2025 is that it is anti-lack.
It is anti-lack.
It is absolutely anti- black in its policies.
And also, you do remember Trump saying once it came out about Project 2025 and once it was shown that it was connected to and associated with the White House with Trump, pardon me, he wasn't in the White House at that time, but it was connected with Trump and he would be trying to implement it if he was put back in the White House. He denied having any knowledge of it, having any connection to it. And I told you then that many of the folks who were in his first administration actually wrote parts of Project 2025.
But he looked us in our faces and told us that he knew nothing about it.
I told you then that's false. That was false. That was a lie. Well, Kevin Roberts is confirming that Trump looked the American people in the eye and lied to him.
He knew exactly what Project 2025 was because it was again the policies that his administration immediately started implementing.
All right. Now, she's going to ask him about that and listen at how Kevin Roberts justified Trump lying about knowing about Project 2025. Did the president's campaign during the uh the presidential cycle then um sort of dismiss project 2025 and its influence?
>> Well, because the Democrats succeeded in spending about a billion dollars and earned media value lying about the project. And so if you're running a campaign, you want to distance yourself from that. We totally understood that.
and at Heritage because we don't really exist to be so involved in the in the political campaign cycle itself. We certainly don't exist to to you know tell presidential campaigns or presidents what to do. We exist to suggest to propose to offer great detail. We could sit back and say he's going to win this election and because of his courage, because of the great cabinet he's assembled, they're going to implement these ideas and they have.
>> All right. So that's the way he justifies it. He says that the Democrats basically weaponized project 2025 and that is not what the Democrats did. The Democrats basically said this is bad.
Although remember the Democrats really didn't start talking about Project 2025 until after Taraji P. Henson started talking about it at the BET Awards. Remember that? And that's when it went widespread.
And it was really just myself and a handful of other people talking about Project 2025 and warning people. I spoke to groups all over the country warning people about Project 2025 and through our videos and it's all coming to pass.
55% of what they propose the White House has implemented.
And isn't it something that a think tank, a far-right think tank is basically feeding policies to the White House, to the Trump administration.
It's like Heritage, the Heritage Foundation, Kevin Roberts. It's like he's running the country.
They're doing his mandate, his manual, which he's the architect of.
All right, let's look at another video.
Can you hear me?
>> Yes, we can. Shelley, go ahead.
>> Thanks. Yeah, I'm trying to keep this apolitical um because I was a former federal employee who was involuntarily retired last year due to the cuts that were advocated by project 2025.
>> So, she's saying she was fired. Let's watch and listen to his reaction to this. one of the many hundreds of thousands of people disproportionately black who were fired because of project 2025 policies. Watch his response.
>> So um what I do not understand and my experience since then has not been good in terms of services by the government.
Took 10 months to process a very simple retirement for instance. I've been trying to deal with the IRS because uh my father died last year during all of this and I had to deal with taxes related to that death and I the IRS is so slow this year because so many cuts were made to the IRS. I can't get any information as to the status of the day the stuff that I owe to the IRS. Fine. I can handle all these things. But the most upsetting thing of all of this is I dedicated my life to public service. I was a mathematician. I worked as a mathematical statistician in a unnamed federal statistical agency. I will not tell you which one I work for. And they decided that, oh, we can't have this. We can't have scientists. We can't have, you know, people who really want to work for the people. One thing that just drives me crazy is those statements by Russell vote. Oh, we want to traumatize federal workers. We want to make them not want to get up go to work when they wake up in the morning. We we want to make them feel bad because they want to serve their country. I wanted to serve my country in the way that I could do it best, which was with my brain, right?
Maybe not big enough to go into the military. I don't know. I'm a small woman, but I I don't get why that makes us a better country.
>> Okay, we're going to take your points, Shelley. Kevin Roberts.
>> Shel, fair question. And thanks for your service to the country. I'm sorry about the passing of your father and the difficulties you've had after that. I want to say this. Uh, two things can be true at once. We can be grateful at Heritage. I can speak for Heritage. We can be grateful for the the the missionoriented nature of someone like you who wants to serve your country in public service. And we can also recognize that we simply can't afford financially, economically the size and scope that the federal government has become. But what you can afford is big tax breaks for the very wealthiest.
Just sit in that for a moment. What you can't afford are big huge tax breaks for the wealthiest in this country.
Can't afford to allow people who have given themselves to public service by being federal employees cannot continue to allow those folks to work.
and do the job that they are trained to do and that they enjoy doing for their country can afford to do that.
But you can give those big tax breaks.
And see what we understand is since they have implemented these cuts, the black unemployment rate has shot up and a lot of black employees, male and female, have lost jobs, hundreds of thousands. And that's because blacks are over represented in the federal government in terms of jobs, employment, those good federal jobs and that that good those good federal benefits. And so when they implemented this anti-dei these anti-dei policies, of course, we always say that white women benefited most from the from the DEI programs. But I bet you this, I'm telling you this straight up that this anti-dei reduction in federal employment has not impacted white women.
Their unemployment rate has remained low.
It is black unemployment rate that has increased disproportionately and black men and women are the ones disproportionately losing jobs. And oh, by the way, when Trump started denying that he knew anything about Project 2025, who was it that told us within our community that they believe Trump, that he didn't know anything about it? It was the pro black imposters.
They were the ones who came to Trump's defense and said, "Yes, he doesn't know anything about it. He doesn't know anything about it.
Well, listen at what Kevin Roberts said just five minutes ago and look at who has lost the jobs and is suffering the most.
But let's listen to the rest of his response to this.
And so it is we have celebrated not whatever you know human side of this is.
We've celebrated the economic benefit, the the benefit on deregulation of having 300,000 fewer federal employees this year than we did last year. Wow.
Wow.
300,000 fewer federal employees this year than last year. He says the Heritage Foundation celebrates.
Well, let me put the human side to this because those 300,000 people, as this woman said, many of them are still jobless.
They have no insurance.
They're losing homes.
They are dealing with other kinds of of emergencies as this woman said, her the death of her father and so on.
And she's right. How does this make the country better? When really what you're doing is you're taking from those folks again to finance a trillion dollar tax cut for the very wealthiest.
These are the types of people who are now controlling our government.
And they wouldn't be there if over two million blacks had not voted for them and others not voted at all and others who trash Kla Harris, we wouldn't be dealing with this today.
This man here is the architect of this and they're celebrating while our community is racking up losses, economic huge losses.
We honestly wish you the total best, but the nice thing about the Trump economy with someone with your background is that I'm sure that you could continue your service in other respects.
So, not a cent, not a not a an ounce of of of sympathy for these people.
And again, just keep in mind, while those job cuts were occurring, the very rich will get huge tax cuts.
