Rahul Gandhi Targets BJP Alleges ‘Vote Theft’, Says Institutions Rigged Elections | Watch追加:
Leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi launches a blistering attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party. In a post on X, Rahul Gandhi has claimed that every sixth BJP MP in the Lok Sabha has won through what he calls vote theft. The Congress leader alleged that institutions are being controlled and accused them of tampering with voter lists and the electoral process. In a sharp [music] remark, Rahul said, "Votes are stolen to win seats and sometimes entire governments."
Taking a swipe at BJP's own terminology, he asked, "Should such MPs be called infiltrators?" He further claimed that if elections [music] were fair, the BJP would struggle to cross even 140 seats today.
"Seats are sometimes stolen through vote theft, sometimes entire governments. Out of the 240 BJP MPs in the Lok Sabha, roughly every sixth MP has won through vote theft. It's not hard to identify them. Should we call them infiltrators in BJP's own language? And Haryana, there the entire government is infiltrator. The institutions they keep in their pockets, the ones that tamper with voter lists and the electoral process, those themselves are remote controlled. Their real fear is the truth because if fair elections were held, even today they couldn't win 140 seats."
Rahul's remarks echo recent allegations made by Mamata Banerjee. The West Bengal Chief Minister had earlier claimed that over 100 seats were looted in the state.
She also accused the Election Commission of acting like a BJP commission and termed the verdict immoral and illegal.
The BJP, however, has strongly rejected these charges. This political escalation comes just a day after Rahul Gandhi issued another warning, not to the BJP, but to his own party and opposition leaders. He cautioned against celebrating the defeat of All India Trinamool Congress in West Bengal, calling such reactions petty politics.

Amid the political earthquake in West Bengal, a warning from the Congress.
Leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi has called out his own party.
The Congress leader has criticized voices celebrating the defeat of the All India Trinamool Congress, calling it petty politics.
In a strongly worded message, Rahul Gandhi said this is not about one party winning or losing. This is about India.
He warned that what happened in Bengal and Assam is not just an electoral outcome, but in his words, a theft of mandate, and a step forward in what he called the BJP's mission to weaken Indian democracy.
At the center of this political churn is the rise of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
The BJP has stormed to power in Bengal for the first time, winning over 200 seats, crossing the two-thirds mark in the 294-member assembly.
For the TMC, led by Mamata Banerjee, it's a dramatic fall. From 15 years in power to being reduced to around 80 seats.
The scale of the BJP surge is even more striking on the ground.
In nine districts, the party didn't just win, it swept every single seat. A clean sweep of 68 out of 68. From the hills of North Bengal to the heart of the South.
The electoral map has turned saffron.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had predicted this during the campaign that the TMC would fail to open its account in several districts. The results seem to echo that claim.
And then there's the bigger picture.
With this victory, the BJP has now completed its eastern arc across Bihar, Bengal, and Odisha, often described as Anga Banga Kalinga. For Congress, the numbers are modest. After drawing a blank in 2021, it has managed to win two seats this time.
But Rahul Gandhi's message is clear.
This is not the moment for celebration within the opposition. It is a moment for introspection.
