[00:01:11]It's been a a busy one. I now know that uh she's not completely blind.

[00:01:18]There is some sight there.

[00:01:21]And she's also been ill.

[00:01:22]Still is ill.

[00:01:25]The vets thought it was fur balls.

[00:01:28]It wasn't. It's uh a lung infection.

[00:01:32]So, she's on multiple injections for a week.

[00:01:37]Unfortunately, the coughing, sneezing, vomiting, Here you go. uh Scoots has picked it up.

[00:01:46]And he's actually worse than she was.

[00:01:51]Hey, Bear. I took him to the vet yesterday.

[00:01:54]He's got lesions in his mouth. He was dehydrated. he was off his food, had a temperature. So, he's also on multiple injections for the next week.

[00:02:07]And Trauma has She's not settling in easily.

[00:02:15]Taking time, but then if she's not been well either, that might have affected her.

[00:02:24]She has an amazing tree climbing technique.

[00:02:29]That actually had me worried for the first time in years.

[00:02:36]But, she's very able.

[00:02:38]She's also an explorer.

[00:02:40]So, I'll have to keep an eye on that one.

[00:02:46]Kelly goes from strength to strength. She's fine.

[00:02:51]Bikini, you asked me at what stage in her pregnancy did I have her spayed.

[00:02:56]It wasn't that I didn't want to have her spayed earlier. I tried.

[00:03:03]But, the thinking here amongst the vets is they will not touch a kitten under 6 months.

[00:03:09]It's a crazy situation.

[00:03:12]She was close to giving birth.

[00:03:15]Now, they would much rather a kitten give birth than to operate early.

[00:03:22]The cat population here is exploding.

[00:03:25]Harry. And there are so many new cats coming, being born.

[00:03:35]But, the vets won't budge. It's 6 months. I had to sign a waiver to have this operation.

[00:03:43]So, as it was, it was done, it was successful. She's one of the lucky cats.

[00:03:54]He was also asking about Scoot's weight.

[00:03:57]I am aware of it.

[00:03:59]Thing is, I prepare fresh food twice a day.

[00:04:05]But Scoot's at the moment, well, I've noticed this recently, he's going out of a morning and he doesn't come in for his breakfast. He'll skip a meal.

[00:04:19]When he does come in for food, he's not eating a great deal.

[00:04:25]So, he's very active.

[00:04:29]He's always on the move. He's always doing something.

[00:04:32]But I am aware of it. So, I'm keeping an eye on it.

[00:04:39]Now, to those of you that commented on my lack of explanation for the video on trauma the other morning. My apologies.

[00:04:54]You know, when I started the channel and started doing the videos, I struggled to talk on a video.

[00:05:02]I was nervous.

[00:05:05]Well, I was just nervous.

[00:05:07]Over time, the confidence grew and now I can chat away.

[00:05:12]Problem that I've got now is I can't always talk for a short or a short video.

[00:05:18]And such was the case the other day, but I will try harder.

[00:05:23]I will uh I will adapt.

[00:05:31]Now, people think that it's easy to talk. Um you know, if you get used to talking for a long time, you can must be easy to talk for a short time.

[00:05:41]It isn't actually because you get into the a routine of talking. You prepare yourself for 10, 12, 15 minutes, whatever, of talking on a video. But then to suddenly pack it into a couple of minutes, um >> [laughter] >> doesn't always work.

[00:06:02]But I saw your comments and uh I have taken it on board.

[00:06:17]The weather has changed.

[00:06:19]The rain has stopped.

[00:06:21]And it's warming up.

[00:06:24]Slowly, but it's warming up.

[00:06:26]And it's made a huge difference to the cats being in the garden. Mabel has been at uh the far end of the garden with us.

[00:06:37]Hugo is um he's out in the kitchen now.

[00:06:42]He's into the garden. Wolf is in the garden.

[00:06:47]So, bit by bit, there'll be more and more video to come of the cats relaxing, playing.

[00:07:01]Kira's in the garden now.

[00:07:05]We may have lost Well done, Roma. Well done.

[00:07:09]She's suddenly stopped. She came in for food on Tuesday night.

[00:07:15]And I haven't seen her since.

[00:07:18]And Molly never misses a meal.

[00:07:22]She's uh she's always here twice a day for her food. But uh I haven't seen I haven't seen her at all. I've been calling her down by us. She stays at the chicken sheds.

[00:07:36]Usually sleeps on the uh the metal roof.

[00:07:39]In the winter she comes up to the house, stays at the house.

[00:07:43]But when the weather starts to change, she she stays down there and then just pops up.

[00:07:48]But there's no sign of her.

[00:07:52]Hope she's okay.

[00:07:54]She's not the most social of cats, but she's always around and she's been up here for I mean I've been up I've been at the house for 8 years and she's been here for seven of them. She popped in one day, stayed.

[00:08:07]Just like Buffers, he arrived one day and uh he stayed.

[00:08:12]I mean Buffers was a kitten when he came walking down the garden.

[00:08:21]Buffers he's fine.

[00:08:26]He's near He's hanging around.

[00:08:30]Sometimes he goes on the mountain. At the moment he's down here.

[00:08:37]Smudge, she doesn't stay in.

[00:08:40]She's back up on the mountain. Gizmo's on the mountain.

[00:08:44]So That's a definite sign that the weather's warming up.

[00:08:58]I've got a weekend. I've got a lot of housework to do and work in the garden on the trees.

[00:09:06]Trauma.

[00:09:10]So the cats will have me around all weekend.

[00:09:15]Which should be enough for them to keep them amused.
