[00:00:00]But I found astonishing cuz I have been researching this like I said, it's actually part of what I've been dealing with in the book and and and researching this topic and everything. Some of the statistics were kind of staggering to me that it's still like it's up there in the numbers, the one in four women who experience an intimate partner violence, the majority of them are ex- periencing some form of sexual coercion.

[00:00:27]And it was saying that like 8 to 16% of women in the general population experience this even if they're not in an abusive relationship. This can happen outside of abuse. So people don't think of it as abusive if they're not getting having physical violence interwoven with it. And that the other thing that really shocked me about it was that anybody who experiences reproductive coercion nine times out of 10 is experiencing some form of sexual assault as well. So to me that was a kind of staggering thing to see and read about as well.
