Sharks exhibit schooling behavior where multiple species, including bronze whalers, spinner sharks, and little whalers, gather in large groups (schools) around bait fish, with smaller sharks like Tommy (approximately 1 meter) swimming alongside larger predators, demonstrating complex social dynamics and predator-prey relationships in marine ecosystems.

SHARK FRENZY AUSTRALIAAdded:
Holy crap, look at all the shots down there.
There's going to be a couple hundred just on the outside.
Holy.
Look at them all just munching away down there like Pac-Man, waiting their turn.
That's mental. Absolute mental.
Oh, here comes another little crew to join the big crew of already, I don't know, 100, 200 just there.
Holy.
How many's inside this school?
Pretty sure they're sardines.
Moreton Island just turning it on.
Oh, also got to mention there's a surfer over there, look.
Just there, we told him.
I've got a big popper here in the shallows.
Oh, yes, nice and close.
It's what I want, yeah, mate.
Get nice, clear footage when they're in the shallows like that.
Not in the deep, ripply water. No good, we want this. Oh, yes, see your belly, mate.
He's going to go in closer even.
This is going to be the money shot, yes.
Here we go.
Oh, yes.
Oh, get the fin out.
Woah.
Wicked.
That's the shot.
Oh.
Dope.
Another big one here, It's got a cobia.
It's going to be a cobia unless it's kid.
Yeah.
Definitely cobia.
I must say though, they do look like a shark above the cobia, but it's definitely cobia.
I know that shape. I've seen plenty of them hanging around the big sharks.
You going to come and have a look at me drawing?
Big unit.
I think he is.
But Oh.
Getting a bit close there.
I could sit and film this all day.
It's so cool.
That big one there.
Oh, it's a little different whalers. I reckon some of them uh Well, the really big ones are bronzies.
And then we got that one, the bigger one there. I reckon that's like a spinner shark. It's got the black tips. There's a few of them around.
They all seem to hang together.
I wonder if that lad got out yet.
It's a surfer.
One's a big unit going over there.
Oh, a little compact school here.
Definitely sharks in there. Oh, yeah.
Bashing them.
Oh.
Whoa.
Woohoo.
Oh, the fish are flying.
Oh, big Tommy turns is amongst it. Hey Tommy, you're hanging out with the little whalers.
Little whaler crew, the skinny whalers.
Tommy's about a meter, I reckon.
Turtles are big around here.
There's some bigger sharks out here, Tommy, but but don't think you're on the menu.
Unless there's some tigers around.
Tiger will have a go at you, but apart from that, I don't know where the big bronzes are. There's a couple of the the mid-range ones over there.
Woah.
Woah.
Wow.
Look at them all.
What?
Crazy shivers just hanging on the outside.
It's cool that they're all hanging groups like that. That's how they all came to the school. They all came in like little clusters.
Shivers, they're called.
One shiver meets another.
Woah.
And then one biggie in it.
Hey, a little crew of I reckon these are the spinner whalers with the black tips. Hey.
Doing a roll.
Big beast doing a roll down there.
Haha.
One of the bigger bronzes.
It's coming up.
Up he come.
Woah.
Yeah.
You're a beast, though.
Woah.
Oh, sharky. Sharky's having a look at you. Oh.
They're like, "Why are you so big? How do we get that big?"
Oh, gold.
>> Just a bit further out the back there, a bit deeper.
Just go down.
Get a side shot so if I can get any Just leave them out, that'd be cool.
Come on, smash it up.
Oh, is that a fin on that tail?
Oh.
That was close. Oh, again.
Literally everywhere I look along this east coast at the moment, these bait fish are just like spaced out every 500 m just like this. Nuts. And every time there's sharks and So, you can imagine how many on this whole stretch here.
You see the massive school at the other end. Oh, even bigger than the massive whale.
Really?
Hey, big boy.
Oh, it's just It doesn't stop.
Just Where are you guys going to go after this?
Oh, back to Stradbroke Island.
Isn't that cool?
Such a spectacle. You don't see this often, I tell you guys.
That's something I've seen anything like this. I just can't believe I haven't seen any bull sharks or this.
They're typically whaler sharks and some, you know, there's a lot of many different types of species with whalers.
Bronze whalers, you got the spinner, you got the duskies, so And some of the them are very hard to, you know, work out which one's which, but on this usually big nuggets like this, well, Thanks for watching, guys, and don't forget to hit that subscribe button if you want to see some more great content like this.
