El Nino is here. What to expect in Colorado.

[00:00:00]this map. It looks overwhelming. Lines, numbers. Red means El Nino and this takes us all the way through the probably first half of 2027. I'm going to show you another map now. It's going to once again have a lot of reds here.

[00:00:13]What this is doing is the strength. Just bear with me for a minute. You'll have a little bit of a better understanding.

[00:00:19]Your darker red, that's a very strong El Nino the top of our chart. This is just in time. I apologize our months are cut off here, but this would be just in time for the upcoming winter. What's El Nino generally do here in the United States?

[00:00:35]Well, it would favor a southern storm track. So, it's not as she said, I like it. It's not a slam dunk, but the stage is set. La Nina way too far to the north. El Nino the storms are coming right near Albuquerque. We lock in on one or two. You get all your snow and you finish above average. So, take it as a more favorable track. It's not the slam dunk, but we do see the potential will lean towards a wetter winter coming up and we desperately want to hear that.
