Numberblocks Series 9 introduces five new characters with distinct mathematical themes: 33 (Fancy Three) represents 3×11 and invented triangle football while introducing palindromes; 34 (Master Decorator) is 2×17 and demonstrates symmetry; 37 (Hattie) teaches number bonds through problem-solving; 38 (Absent-Minded) is isomorphic to 19 and forgets what he splits into; and 39 (Brave Remover/Sir Clown) demonstrates 3×13 through his nine red blocks. These characters were officially revealed in March 2026 and will appear in new episodes covering their respective mathematical concepts.

Numberblocks Series 9: Characters, Episodes, and HistoryAdded:
Oh, sneeze.
I'm going to keep that in.
Numberblocks Series 9 is right [music] around the corner, and today I would like to talk about the new characters and assets in it. I'll also be covering the history behind the characters.
[music] It'd be nice to have a throwback and recall what happened.
And if you want to see more Numberblocks content like this, consider liking the video and subscribing to the channel.
It's free and you can always unsubscribe at any time.
>> [music] >> Let's get to 2,000 subs. Now, let's get to business. It's July 2025 or so. I can't find the original release date since the original blocks went down. And the first ever evidence for the Numberblocks MathLink Cubes during 1 to [music] 40 activity set has been revealed. It said there were 404 pieces and that it was going to [music] go into shipping in the fall of 2026. Remember that, it will be important. Only 31, 32, 35, [music] 36, and 40 were shown with faces. The other five were in their tens in one shape without any features.
And then, December 5th, 2025.
The 2026 Learning Resources {slash} Educational Insights {slash} Hand2Mind new products catalog.
On page 20, there they are! There are the faces!
Remember these designs, they are to note. 33's [music] face looked similar to 11's with one eye bigger than the other and showed a special football badge. When I say football, I mean soccer. 34's face is just green with some He had two green face blurs around his face in a variety.
37's face is just [music] similar, if not identical, to 38's. He just had a propeller hat.
38 had 19's zigzag eyebrows. And 39 had a goofy clown nose, which a lot of people hate on Numberblocks. Come on, guys, they got to be goofy at times.
It's now February of 2026. I believe day eight, I don't know. There came this video.
It chose 33 as the [music] official MathLink Cube vote.
A day or two later, the people on the wiki freaked out [music] as if the new character were released on that day.
Dang.
That's supposed to be the case because this confirmed that they were official.
I don't know. If there's someone on the wiki, please just verify that sometime.
In that same video, the box claimed there will be 10 bells in [music] total, including five exclusive characters.
I'm sorry. Exclusive? You're telling us that these new characters are not going to be in the show?
No on that.
Now, the climax.
March 17th, 2026.
The set is on Amazon and it wasn't even fall, it was spring, so what the heck?
It cost us $57.99. [music] On March 20th, the full designs of 34 and 38 were revealed. The day after that, we got it all. The full designs, episode [music] sneak peeks, and even the characters' gifts to genders. Not the voices, though. But, take a good look at Pitch Fork, the activity guide.
It said that 33, 34, 37, 38, and 39 will be featured in new and exciting content coming in 2026. Also, they will be appearing in the show after all.
Additionally, the intro designs look very different from nothing else.
Let's take a look at them now, shall we?
Next up, Fancy Three. 33 is 3 * 11 and she is three football teams, something impossible in a regular football game.
Ah, so the descendants were right after all.
But, for that idea to even be possible, she invented triangle football, which is basically football but for three teams of 11 players, played on a triangular field. That's what her badge is for. She also introduces palindromes. As she says, >> [music] >> "Switch my numbers and what do you see?
The same two numbers, a three and a three." I love that idea. Next up, Master Decorator 34. He is double 17. He appears to enjoy symmetry. Even his mirror arrangement is symmetrical along the Y axis. It's reflexive symmetry.
Also, apparent symmetry maybe.
It does say that these two have something that will look identical, albeit symmetrical. [music] He said before that 34 had two pink spiders, but his intro design had seven.
Next up, 37. 37 likes problem-solving as she can arrange her blocks into an arrow shape to point [music] the way.
Her propeller hat seems to be alive and her name is Hattie. Yes, Hattie is a she.
37 uses Hattie to teach about number bonds.
Something not fun and overdone.
But yeah, as long as it's three or four, but below five then it's all good. Next up, absent-minded 38.
38 [music] is quite dumb.
Stupid. Forgetting what he's supposed to do with her blocks.
Why? He knows he can split exactly in two, but he just can't remember what he splits into. Why do you think that he's isomorphic to 19, the dimwit? You're not just a regular you were designed to be a I AM NOT a And lastly, brave remover 39.
39 has a nose.
Worship the nose. Well, that's because it's Sir Clown. He often has his nine red blocks move as he amazes his audience.
He often has his crowd say his name very slowly as they say 13. 13. But then he interrupts with 13 causing his three unlucky 13s to break apart into 10s and threes showing that 39 is 3 * 13. Oh, I love it. Four episodes have also been revealed. One is about 33 [music] on triangle football game.
One is about 34 and symmetry. One is about the number bonds of 37.
One is about 38's dimwit case or how to find out that 30 [music] is double my 10, I guess.
The final one is 39's move the roll.
Basically, if you're done pretend 69 great blocks are weakened a 3 by 3 away and they're about to fall and it kind of just rolls over him.
What a show. About darn time we got these characters, especially 33. [music] She has been requested for almost 5 years now, so people better be happy with her.
I really feel like they could do more Numberblocks in series 9. My biggest [music] candidates are 44 and 66. It would be nice to see 51, 52, 70, and 91.
Well, friends could be sweet, although unnecessary. I'd like to see 41, 42 specifically. Speaking of 41, I don't see anyone begging for the one.
The only problem with figuring out [music] more Numberblocks, if you think about it, is that there'd be less room for creativity.
Anyway, that's a wrap. I really hope Numberblocks series 9 is going to be worth the wait and I'll see you in the next video.
